Terrible customer service. I asked an employee a simple question and I got nothing but attitude, she was no help at all. She was extremely condescending and rude. I work in retail and customer service, so I get the industry but still it was my first time shopping here and it really sucked how bad the employees treat their customers, they just don’t seem to care, or be helpful in any capacity.

We always come here for all our pet and yard needs. Selection is always good and the rewards program gets you coupons for savings. Highly recommend.

Kate was SO knowledgeable and helpful!! She took the time to discuss not only my lawn, but my garden as well and gave some very helpful advice.

My family and I have been a long time customer of AW BROWN in EastLongmeadow, MA. Since they sell Yankee Candles and is within our neighborhood. On 1/6 purchased a a candle and today 1/11 brought it back to the store. Met with Kate ( Co-owner) explaining the continuous smoke while burning and NO LONGER has a Scent. It should of been a simple EXCHANGE since I am a reward Member. Kate (Co-owner) stared at the register screen for about 5 mins in complete silence. I then tell her rather than a refund. I ONLY WANTED AN EXCHANGE. She reluctantly agreed with a rude attitude and slammed the candle on the counter. While customers are watching. Shortly after she approached me while I'm shopping for a different candle. ONLY to tell me she can only give 50% off. And that it has to be from the clearance table. To avoid the hassle i just grabbed one and proceeded to checkout. When this cashier now tell me it can only be certain scents/brand ( unheard of) At this point i got frustrated and told the cashier " I will not do an exchange and will never shop here again “ also I will follow up with the Store Owner ( Steve Wheeler) AND Yankee Candle Corporation. AW BROWN is a Third party retailer. I walked out and was in distraught and an embarrassed. As the store was somewhat crowded. Unfortunately I lose $26.99 the price of the candle. Moving forward I will travel to The Yankee Candle Store in Deerfield, MA. Where I know what I’m buying is ACTUAL QUALITY CANDLES!

AW BROWN just lost a loyal customer and my friends and family will NO LONGER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

Love this garden and feed store. All the staff are super helpful and are always there to advise and offer reccomendations. Perhaps a little more expensive than Walmart or home depot but the service, quality, atlnd care is well worth it!!!!

They have a lot of different types of items here, I mainly shop here for items for my dog, but they also sell other type of items too, my wife likes to shop for flowers & plant type of items (when in season) I like this store because they carry better quality items than most other similar stores, also I like the family type of store setting ( I feel better shopping in a family run store over a big chain) if you have any questions or need any help or questions answered I feel the workers here are very knowledgeable ( and if they are not they will get someone to come over and help you that is) The items that are sold here are right around the same prices you will find at the bigger chain stores ( some even a little bit less on some itemscI have found) and many items you can not even find at all ar any other stores. And for me the overall quality of items, large selection of items sold, and the great knowlage of the staff who are selling the items. Makes this store a great spot to shop. ( I can tell you it is mo fun when you have a question about a product and you can not find anyone to come over to help you answer your questions, and then when you go to the front and they page someon for you to come help and you wait there of 10 or 15 min for someone to show up, but no one ever even comes, so you have to walk way down to the front register again ( this time mad) and you talk to the person Again who did the page for you on the beginning and they tell you just to go back down the ile and someone will come soon as they can, so you walk way back down the ile again, and then wait there another 10 or 15 min again ( and by this time you are real mad,) so will end up just leaving the store and wasting about 1 hour of your time driving there and then wating for help that never comes, or in the best case scenario, after your wait someone actually does shoe up yo help you and you realize after about 1 minute and a half of talking to this person who is trying to help you that in actuality you your self actually know a lot more about this product then the actual salesman does. And the store should actually higher you to come train there workers to help with questions about the product. Because all of the workers in the store do not actually know a thing about the product that they are supposed to be selling. ( and that is the thing that I dislike most about shopping at most of the big name chain stores,) and if you shop at Aw Brown's store this will never happen to you here.

DO NOT SHOP HERE. Great business they are running. They kicked a 4 year old little boy and his 14 year old brother out of the store because they weren't buying anything and just wanted to look at the fishes. AFTER countless times that our family shops there, they treat us like this. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. TERRIBLE staff. I AM ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED BY THESE TERRIBLE HUMAN BEINGS.

They have a limited supply, but they have the best price around, did some shopping for my beardie got his green mat for 12$ nearly half of what Petco charges. Awesome place and were very friendly, asked as soon as I walked if I needed help awesome place

Came to get two parakeets, they were very welcoming and helpful. Very knowledgeable.They also let me know they offer clipping of the wings for my parakeets. I will definitely be going back! Meet ed and Eddie!

Wonderful experience. Staff was all friendly. One employee approached me while I was looking at dog treats and asked what I was looking for. She offered several options to look at that I wouldn't have noticed on my own that were exactly the type of treat I was looking for. I will be going back for sure!

Bought a crested gecko here. Very nice people and good aquarium set ups

Disappointed in the shrinking bird department. Used to have the best selection around (I even used to send customers from my own job with another pet retailer here because the selection was so much better). Animal care conditions are meh and a lot of the products sold for animals are not at all appropriate

Great customer service.. Answered all of my questions I had and took the time to find out the information that I asked if they didn't know or weren't 100% sure. A very beautiful store with lots of variety to choose from.. Also prices are very fair!! Definitely loved the store.

Purchased 2 hanging ferns for a shady porch. Kate was very helpful and kind with her suggestions and guidance of which plants were attractive. She snipped them to tidy them up, which was greatly appreciated.

I love this store. I got a little, super cuddly b&w teddy bear hamster from here a couple of years ago & named him Hank. Hank the hamster was the sweetest little thing and he was very healthy too. He lived a little more than 2 years and was very fun. I spoiled him with hamster cupcakes and let him scurry about outside on nice days. He never bit me, only a few times when he was new and I didn't know how to handle him, or by accident while I hand fed him. I want to get another pet from here! I miss Hank, he was the sweetest first hamster I ever had!

Got a female rat here a few years ago. They have a good selection of animals and they are different colors than you would see in something like petco. Very unique. Unfortunately, the rat I bought wound up being pregnant. We called the store not to complain or demand a refund, but just to get information on how to take care of her and the babies. The woman said she would get someone to help me, put me on hold and then hung up. I thought maybe I just had a connection issue so I called again and the same thing. Haven't bought another animal from there since then since they obviously can't tell boy animals from girls (and in rats, it's pretty obvious) or just don't separate them soon enough. But the store was very nice inside and the man who helped up get the rat was very kind and knowledgable.
