In addition to the plumbing jobs listed above, Boulanger’s recently installed a Mitsubishi mini split for me. The price was considerably less expensive than a local competitor-for the exact model, both exterior and interior units. Jay, the sales rep, was quick to survey the job and got a proposal to me in record time. The two HVAC technicians, Adam and Steve, did an excellent job. Their work was efficient and neat, and they were very thorough in teaching me how to use the system’s features and maintain the filters.
I’ve had Boulanger plumbers to my home on a couple of occasions for both repair and installation jobs. Each time, their work was excellent and the price was very reasonable. In fact, in one instance, the technician made a special effort to get to me before overtime rates would kick in….an effort which I truly appreciated.
In brief, I highly recommend Boulanger’s for both plumbing and HVAC services.

Whoever hired Steve and Adam should get great big pat on the back. Those guys were great. They replaced my high efficiency furnace in about 6 hours (2 days after I called). I can't wait till something else breaks so I can call them back to do more work.

Boulanger's provided me excellent service from professional staff. They arrived on time with the resources to get the job done for me. They worked quickly and efficiently and got everything done in about an hour. I am a satisfied customer and would highly recommend them to anyone. We are now long-term customers. Highly recommended.

Had a cpl major leaks on my furnace system so i called boulangers. This is the first time that i have ever used them for repairs. Although i had several call backs due to leaks persisting they we’re very professional and polite and continued to work on the problem until it was fixed. I have worked in the construction business for yrs and can tell you not only that unforeseen things can happen but nobody is perfect. Its how you handle yourself during those situations that speaks to what kind of business you are and they proved to be a fair and professional one. I was not charged for the extra time and I would highly recommend you use them for your plumbing needs as i will do so myself in the future.

Had a pipe replaced for drainage in kitchen sink. John was very kind and very neat and professional about his work. I highly recommend this company for your needs in plumbing. Its nice to know there is great people out there to do honest work. Any work I may have in future I will use them again. A life time customer. Tks again

Waited a week for an appointment for a leaky faucet. They confirmed what I all ready knew - that it’s leaking, but did nothing to help me improve my situation. Massive waste of time and money. Bummer. PS it certainly did not help that this employee turned my water off and then left before turning it back on! Amateur hour all the way.

I recently had a great experience with Boulanger’s Plumbing and Heating. At the end of last winters heating season, my oil-fed steam boiler in my house kicked the bucket. In the late spring/early summer, I had contacted a handful of local Plumbing and HVAC companies to get quotes on replacing my oil-fed steam boiler with a new gas-fed steam boiler. Competency to successfully complete the job was my biggest concern, as steam heat is more complicated than other heating methods. The price to do the work was also important to me. After reviewing all of the quotes, I still did not feel 100% comfortable with any of the companies that gave me quotes for one reason or another. Fortunately, I was recommended to Boulanger’s and received a quote from them. Their price to do the work was the most reasonable of all the quotes that I had received, and more importantly, I felt confident that the work would be successfully completed. Communication was great throughout the entire process. Boulanger’s technicians did an outstanding job and everything went smoothly. I’m fully satisfied with the work that was completed and I’m looking forward to using my new gas-fed steam boiler come winter.

We had our air conditioner and heating system replaced by Boulanger's. They made every effort to get the work done asap because we were without air conditioning in the middle of the summer. They did an awesome job and we have not had any problems. We recently had some outdoor and indoor faucets repaired and again were prompt, efficient and knowledgeable. No job is too big or too small. I highly recommend.

Last week I needed to get a new kitchen faucet installed. A couple places I called couldn't get to me till the end of next week or November. Boulanger's said they would be over on Thursday between 2&4. The man showed up before 3. Very polite and professional. Got right to work and was done very quickly. I was really surprised. Very neat also. Another surprise came with invoice. Very reasonable. Definitely call them for any future requirements.

We were new customers and got an appointment quickly to disconnect our dishwasher, and then connect a new dishwasher a few days later. John was able to fix a couple of little issues while he was here even though it was not on the work order. The rate seemed reasonable to me. We will always use Boulanger's for our plumbing needs.

Plumber came out to install a utility sink with a pump. Afterwards the water would back up and shoot out of the stand pipe. There was no valve installed to control the flow even though one was included with the pump. Plumber came back and fixed the installation and the sink now works great. I am giving the 1 star because I was charged over 200 dollars for the second visit which was only required because of an improper installation the first time.

*update* they are cutting the 200 dollars down to 100 dollars. I still don't think this is fair. The improper installation was the reason for the return visit. But I will bump my review up to 2 stars because at least they did something.

I got a referral to try Boulanger’s from a friend after 5 frustrating months of just trying to get three quotes. Boulanger’s happened to be the lowest quote, but I really went with them because they were the most professional and had fastest turnaround time from initial visit to installation. The technicians that came to replace my commercial HVAC system were fantastic! They were professional, friendly, and cleaned up after themselves. It was a first for me to actually hire a contractor and have the entire process be easy and painless!

Boulanger's came to hook up a new gas dryer in an incredibly tight space. We had no way of knowing how the previous installation was done, and it wasn't to code. The plumber who came out had to solve a pretty intricate puzzle and squeeze into incredibly small spaces to get it done right and to code. While they were here, they also checked our water pressure and explained some of the plumbing mysteries we had in the house. We were thrilled with the work and service!

On the recommendation of some local folks, I decided to give Boulanger's a try. I had a leaking shower valve and needed someone to come in and fix it up. Their cost to show up was $175 which, if the job got done, would have been ok. I was told that they only carry certain parts on the truck and ordering parts of an off brand company may impact this visit fee.

So the plumber came out, very professional, very helpful in determining that I did, in fact, have parts that they did not carry. He helped me find them on Amazon and buy them. For this visit, he helpfully billed me $75 which I was not expecting.

I scheduled an install visit for my newly arrived parts. The plumber was again very professional, did the install, and all appeared well. For this I was charged $175 (again expected). The next day the valve started to "aggressively leak" anytime water was turned on elsewhere in the house. So I called Boulangers about a warranty visit on the work. I asked about a warranty for the installation itself, but the cagily told me that they did not warranty that brand of parts. I asked for, but never received a specific answer about what their policy covered and and no referral to any sort of documented warranty policy, anywhere. I had to fix the issue, so after much back and forth they dispatched another plumber to come out and fix the prior install.

This team came out, fixed it up in about 10 minutes by reinstalling the same parts that were poorly installed to begin with. Another $175 bill showed up. I called them and emailed them about the warranty policy. Never got a response. So I am writing this review.

Basically if Boulangers did not install the thing you want them to work on you should beware. I gave them 3 stars for the people that showed up at my house - they were good. The company they work for, not so much. I am looking elsewhere for my future plumbing needs.

I live in Easthampton and called Boulangers the day before thanksgiving. I was having my whole family over for the holiday and my toilet was broken and leaking. I just knew the holiday was a bust but called them for what excuse i would tell my family i arranged after turkey day. A young person overheard me and the secretary on the phone and came to my home WITHIN THE HOUR and made sure my holiday was saved. A kind act that meant so much and i will never call anyone else after this experience. Truly going thw extra mile for no other reason than to help when it was needed. Very kind and professional and this company is as good as it gets. Thank you Boulangers.

Ken came today to install a new kitchen faucet..he did a great job, very efficient, explained everything and equally important was very nice and friendly.. Boulanger fortunate to have him there !

We experienced leaking from the ceiling in our family room on a Saturday afternoon. Jason called me back that day, provided empathy, discussed the issue. and explained how they needed to wait until Monday to fix it as parts wouldn’t be available on the weekend. A repair person showed up early Monday morning and worked for hours with a carpenter he enlisted to locate the source of the leak. I had anticipated a mess, but the two worked in unison, making small clean cuts to locate the source. They found the problem, the plumber bought the new part and repaired it well. The carpenter will return to patch and paint the ceiling after the area dries. I highly recommend Boulanger, specifically John, who responded professionally.

Was billed $125 for a 5 minute quote! I called and asked for a quote on a leak in my bathroom. They scheduled an appointment and asked me to send photos. The guy shows up and spends 5 minutes looking at our tub and then giving us a quote (which would involve them tearing open our wall, but they don't fix the wall afterwards). We said we couldn't have the wall left open at the time. A few days later I get a BILL FOR $125. They say they sent someone to do work and we turned it down. I called for A QUOTE, which they could have given me off the photos I sent them. At no point, either when making the appointment or when the plumber came to the house, did they tell us we were being charged. $125 for 5 minutes. Incredibly shady business practice. I will definitely not be calling them again

Very nice people to work with , and friendly. They do a good job , and cleanup everything .my new water heater is working great.

Today, Re-Bath used Boulanger to install a new toilet as part of a bathroom remodel. Boulanger plumber, Naima Matos, did a fantastic job installing the new toilet. She even repaired work that was not done properly by a prior plumber years ago. She is a hard worker and a definite asset to Boulanger.

My furnace shit the bed and within a very reasonable time Boulangers came and installed a new one. They did a great job, restructured old ductwork that was hanging, created a nice hanger set up for the chimney vent, new plenum because old furnace was and size they don’t make anymore and cleaned up everything around it. I was very impressed and I have heat again!

With this new furnace, I got heat to the second floor now. I’m assuming the older furnace blower for the past few years wasn’t doing what it needed to And I never got heat to the second floor.

Would definitely recommend Belanger plumbing and heating!
