Had lights and an electrical outlet put in. Paul (electrician) and Ryan(apprentice) showed up at my house. Both were very professional, neatly dressed and pleasant. Paul was detailed oriented and asked many questions to make sure the project was done correctly. He quoted me a price prior to doing the work which I thought was reasonably priced out. They left their work area cleaner than they found it. Highly recommend this company and Paul and Ryan. Thank you.

I called when my hot water heater was tripping the main breaker. Paul and Evan arrived about 15 minutes later. They quickly diagnosed the problem and repaired it within a couple hours. They kept me informed the whole way, were professional and did a great job overall.

We can’t say enough wonderful things about Grillo Electric. Paul is so approach and friendly. The service is always spot on. We had our carbon dioxide and smoke detectors changed because they were getting old and would go off periodically to an annoying pitch!! Paul came and to change 13 in total. He worked around our schedule and got everything replaced in a very timely manner. He was neat as pin and as pleasant could be! We highly recommend this service! On Sunday we lost electric in only part of our house. Paul came to look and found a breaker needed to replaced. He put a temp one in. Paul and Evan came back today to put permanent breaker. They were great! Professional and very nice. Paul answered all of our questions.

I called Grillo because my home was experiencing some static shocks and some lights were flickering. In a state of shock from having recently lost my mother the day before, I think I mentioned that I was stressed out that something may be wrong in my house. I may have mentioned it to the techs also, I am not sure.

They had two technicians at my house within half an hour. The two young men were incredibly kind. They checked out the locations where we were shocked, looked at the flashing lights, and helped me understand all that was happening with our electricity.

For the light switch, they replaced my son’s decorative light switch for free, saying that it was metal so could be conducting electricity.

For the flickering lights, they explained that I probably ordered the wrong kind and showed me where to read about what kind to get. They even noticed I had two different colors of light in the kitchen and asked me which I prefer, and when I told them they told me what kind of light to buy to get that color.

The techs said since there isn’t a clear electrical problem, that they would not charge me anything. As if that isn’t kind enough, I just received a hand written note from the owners saying they are sorry to hear of my loss.

I will absolutely be a customer for life. I was blown away by their responsiveness and kindness.

My experience with EW was awful. We ordered lights through EW. They used a third-party organization to place my order, which resulted in this being way over market price - nearly 100% more than it would have cost if I had just purchased them online myself with discounts - and stated it was "non-refundable" and "non-returnable" since they were "special order."

Shortly after receiving them, we realized that part of the order wasn't going to work in our home. I spoke with the manufacturer, who was more than willing to take the parts back for a restocking fee if the distributor and channel partners would be willing to work with them; however, neither of them were willing to do this.

I could have just purchased my order online and save literally thousands of dollars on the initial purchase, and also have the ability to return them since they're readily available and certainly not "special order." Instead, now I'm stuck with an order of lights that will not work in our home. Not only that, but EW was unwilling to help me recoup costs at all. We weren't just trying to return the lights - we made it clear that we would have been happy paying a restocking fee and swapping them for lights that would have actually worked in our home. They were unwilling to work with us on this, either.

I would avoid EW at all costs. Firstly, avoid them so you don't get ripped off on price. Secondly, avoid them is because if you ever run into an issue, you can rest assured they will not be willing to help you. This was a very disappointing experience and I will make sure to inform everyone to avoid EW at all costs until they can prove to me they're willing to do right by the customer.
