We called Chris at Appliance Expert on Wednesday and scheduled an appointment for the next day to look at problems plaguing our oven and washer.

Chris timely responded to our initial inquiry and even bumped up our appointment time, routinely keeping in contact via text.

Chris had both the oven and washer back up and running in no time and explained both repairs to us in detail.

Chris was both punctual and professional. We were very satisfied with the service and would not hesitate to call Chris again if another appliance were to give us issues.

Price was in line with expectations for work.

We called Chris to fix our clothes dryer last week. Not only did he show up in only 30 minutes, he diagnosed our problem in about 15 seconds and completed the repair in 20 minutes. When Chris repaired our refrigerator about 2 years ago we were so impressed with his knowledge and skill set he immediately became our go to guy for all our appliance repair needs. Chris is top notch! We give him our highest recommendation!!

Chris is outstanding. He is precise, professional, prompt, honest and affordable. Every time I have any issues with appliances he responds immediately and charges accordingly. I highly recommend him. He fixes everything do not hesitate to call him if he can’t fix it he will not fleece you. He is rare breed an honest and competent repairman who owns his own small business.

Chris arrived quickly after I called regarding my dishwasher not working. Over two visits, he replaced 2 parts but only charged me labor for one visit. My problem was resolved within a few days and he saved me 100s of dollars by not having to buy a new dishwasher! He's very responsive, quick, and efficient. I would definitely use him again for any future appliance issues.

Chris provided 5 star service. He was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. He got our Sub-Zero freezer operating again on the initial visit, including installing a condenser he had with him. Cost was extremely reasonable. He even gave us tips for future maintenance.

I called Chris this morning at 9:05 AM, my oven was not lighting. I mentioned that I was having out of town guests and would he be able to come ASAP?
He told me he would be here within 20 minutes. 10 minutes later, my doorbell rang. He repaired my oven and was gone in less than an hour of my first contacting him. This is service at its best! I have been using Chris for my Samsung appliances for years and never have been disappointed. He is pleasant, prompt, and efficient. I highly recommend using Chris from Appliance Experts.

Appliance Expert (Chris) provided better than expected service! He was incredibly quick to respond to my service questions. He scheduled to come out within a few days. He and his colleague showed up on time and worked efficiently. He is honest, reliable, and has competitive rates. Highly recommend!

I initially chose Appliance Expert LLC based on their solid 5 Star reviews on multiple sites. This turned out to be a major mistake.

Chris came out to my house on March 6th to repair what appeared to be a clogged drain on my refrigerator, which was causing water to leak out onto the kitchen floor. When he and his assistant arrived, it quickly became apparent that I understood how to access the drain better than them thanks to a video a woman had posted online, showing a similar issue with a refrigerator much like mine. After some work, they felt the problem was most likely fixed and charged me just the standard diagnostic fee. He told me that if it leaked again to call him, and he would look into replacing the drain pan.

During this visit, he for some reason thought I had told him that I had found this refrigerator on the side of the road. I made it very clear that this was both absurd and incorrect. This refrigerator was purchased new from Lowe’s, who delivered and installed it.

Ten days after his service call, there was water on the kitchen floor again. I called and left a message as well as sending a text. After not receiving a response, I continued to call and text for over a month. I then discovered a large amount of water had leaked into my basement and damaged items stored there. I contacted him again with this new information. When this still didn’t elicit a response, I contacted another appliance repair company. This new company came out and found that the issue had never been the drain but rather a leaking feed line for the water dispenser and ice maker. They were able to quickly fix this and put an end to further water damage.

I left one more message for Chris informing him of the result and advising that he respond ASAP or I would leave this review and consider legal action. THIS time he texted back almost immediately with the message; “Company closed and I moved to Florida bud. Glad you got it sorted out. Have a nice day”. After receiving this message, a call was made from a number unknown to him regarding a quote for work and was responded to right away. Obviously he is neither out of business nor living in Florida. This proved that he not only has zero concern about responding to paying customers with ongoing issues, but also has no qualms about lying to avoid taking responsibility.

Don’t be fooled by all of this company’s 5 Star reviews. There are far better options out there.

Update: Regarding owner’s response to review

My house absolutely is not “unfit for human habitation” and would be of no interest to the health department. The refrigerator sits in an alcove. We vacuum down each side of it, but don’t pull it out to prevent damaging the copper water feed line. This means he encountered some dust behind said refrigerator, along with possible mildew from the water leak.

Said copper line was the source of the leak. There was an obvious green spot where a pinhole had formed near where it comes through the floor. It has now been updated to a plastic line to avoid a repeat of this problem.

The big takeaway from Chris’ response is that he would lie about the condition of my house in retaliation for my honest review. Had he been professional enough to respond when I contacted him, I would never have left a review. This petty bit of nastiness speaks volumes about who you are dealing with here.

Incidentally, this is the first negative review that I have ever left. I don’t like slamming a company or person for what may just be a misunderstanding. This case was just too blatantly egregious to let go.

Chris is incredibly responsive…replies almost immediately! It was easy to schedule, he was prompt, and prices were reasonable. He was quick and did a good job. Highly recommend!!

Chris is highly knowledgeable and great to work with. Was able to give us a general idea of what the issue with our appliance might be over the phone, and sure enough, he was right. Called early in the week about a new appliance delivery and installation needs. Chris made time to come early to un-install existing dishwasher/ OTR microwave to ensure a smooth delivery. Chris then arrived shortly after delivery and installed everything smoothly. Responsive communication, great price, great service.

I don’t usually write reviews (I have on occasion) but I really wanted to say what an amazing experience it was to work with this company. My refrigerator and large freezer were not working. They scheduled me in right away. Turns out the fridge was toast, freezer was fixable and bottom line price for service was beyond reasonable.
I had quotes from other companies that were TRIPLE. Did I mention they were punctual and very professional?
I will never use anyone else.

The team arrived at the dot timing as promised. They took a detailed look at the washing machine that was broken, did their initial analysis and quickly provided a detailed quote to fix the issue. They were very professional and really know what they are doing. They also explained how the issue may have happened.
Will recommend again.

Emailed Chris to come out for our Bosch Dishwasher. He diagnosed the situation grabbed the part off on of his trucks and replaced the part all in a couple of hours.

Chris replied and scheduled our repair efficiently. Diagnosis was quick and fixed in under an hour. Would highly recommend Appliance Expert for repairs.

Couldn’t have asked for better service that I received from Chris today. I was having an ongoing issue with my washing machine and it finally stopped working correctly. I contacted Chris at 8:30am and he was at my house within an hour with the part. He completed the repair quickly, kept the area clean where he worked and our washer is now back up and running perfectly. As a local home service provider myself, I commend him on his punctuality and great customer service. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending Chris if you’re looking for any appliance repair!
