Recently (11/2017) used Hailey Tree to have 2 very large sugar maples cut/removed from my property.
Trees were approx. 50 and 80 feet tall located on sloping terrain that angled them toward our home. One of them was right next a deck and addition on the back of our home. The crew was able to strip the trees to the main trunks in just a few hours late one afternoon and when they returned to finish they had the trees down to stumps quickly and without incident. No debris or branches even came close to contacting my home or deck.
The crew meticulously cleaned all debris and from yard and hardly left any evidence of their presence on our property.
The crew utilized very modern, new looking equipment and fleet of trucks and trailers. Crew was extremely friendly, took the time to speak with my curious children and they even moved my mother in laws car out of my driveway for her when they needed driveway access for their truck. We were very impressed with the crew, their efficiency and ability to meet the promised timeline despite having a rain/wind storm that generated emergency work for them near the time our work was scheduled. They also 100% to the penny honored the VERY competitive quote we were given.
Upon completion the owners themselves repeatedly made sure we were completely satisfied with the service prior to leaving.
They even trimmed a few unrelated branches that were hanging over my electric and phone lines.
Very satisfied, would recommend and use again in future.

Hailey Tree company did an excellent job. From the first phone call to the completed job the whole organization were professional and very friendly. Mike stopped by on a Saturday to size up the job and leave a quote for the work, which was more affordable then two other contractors. Once we agreed upon the scope of work, he said they would be out in a week or two to do the work and he was. Mike and coworker ground down two very large maple stumps in my front yard and all their surrounding roots. He leveled the surrounding area and cleaned the debris, everything he said he would do. This company is very professional very thorough, and I have already referred them to friends.

Hailey Tree did an awesome job. They removed one large tree and four smaller trees on our property. The crew was on time and incredibly hard working and did a great job picking up the yard after as well! The price was more than fair and the company was very responsive when we had any questions. Overall, very happy and would recommend!

Absolutely great experience. Called in the morning and they were done with tree removal in the early afternoon. Friendly, quick, and very fairly priced. You seldom find companies that tick all the boxes, but these guys do. Will most certainly call them with any future needs.

Also, a lot of businesses will specifically ask you to write a good review, but I'm writing this of my own accord. They really were that good.

Mike is awesome! I highly recommend him and his team for tree removal. He is thoughtful, helpful, and punctual, and I really just enjoyed working with him. He removed several trees in my yard and was a solid communicator. He helped me to make decisions that were best for our property, the wildlife, and us.

A referral from a friend, these folks are top notch and impressive. A local small business with local people and an arborist! My tiny in-town yard was suffering from neighbors who neglect their sideline trees - low branches over my fence closing in. Mike & James took care of it all and Tania set it all up quickly and efficiently.

Mike and team did a wonderful job with our front driveway and edges around our backyard truly opened up the space where we could get more sunlight and gained a cleaner look across the property. Very hardworking and committed to getting the job done. Besides the main job they are happy to take care of any requests alongside. I found them to be very reasonable and I have some additional trees across the property so will definitely work with them again.

Though I haven’t had any regular tree work done per se, they came when my cat was stuck in a tree! I called several types of service for help and only got a run around. They were the only ones who were willing to come. They came promptly and were very nice and knowledgeable! I plan to hire them for any tree work I need in the future. I have already talked with them about one tree in need of pruning and the estimate was very reasonable. I hope others don’t need them for cats in trees but I can’t say enough about their kindness, professionalism, and efficiency.

Mike was the best price out there! You needn't look further if your looking for quality work at the best price. He and his team got the job done quickly and ground our stumps most efficiently. It was a somewhat complicated job because of the positioning of the trees (4 of them). He managed to maneuver the crane to complete the job within the day while taking reasonable precautions to minimize damage to our lawn (impressive compared to previous companies we have had)! Overall, we recommend Hailey Tree to all of you out there.

We had a tree break in a wind storm so we reached out to Hailey Tree on a Sunday morning. They quickly responded via email and were able to give us a very fair estimate based on a picture that we sent. They showed up early the next morning, removed the dangerous tree that was hanging very close to our house in no time at all using the proper tools and equipment needed to ensure that our house wasn't damanged. They left the area cleaner than it was before they arrived and even spotted another dangerous tree and removed it as well. Highly recommend Hailey Tree and we'll only use them going forward.

Hailey Tree came out to look at our tree that had fallen the same day we reached out. We shared our concern for the remaining part of the tree that hadn’t fallen yet, and they made themselves available to come back that day to take the rest of the tree down to avoid any further damage to our property. Mind you, this was on a Saturday! We were incredible grateful for their communication and efficiency as this was an incredibly stressful situation for us. Would highly recommend!!

Answered my call (live person - on the first couple of rings, on a weekend)! Offered an accurate, low quote, showed up in a timely manner (same day) and completed the work without hesitation and in a business-like fashion - on a Saturday. I was so impressed, that immediately secured a quote for the grinding of four other stumps on the property. Owner returned and completed the work on a Sunday!! Ground out 6 stumps total on the property for a very reasonable price - I love patronizing small local vendors like Hailey Tree - just find them so responsive. Would absolutely rehire for future tree removal other needs.

I’m writing this review on behalf of my father. He was referred by a neighbor and he had a great experience with Hailey Tree. The work was done professionally and with accurate attention to detail. The cost was one of the most affordable around. The owners are great and created a trusting atmosphere. He even referred Hailey Tree to his mother and she had a great experience. Highly recommend.

Hailey Tree Service was wonderful! I had 2 trees fall over and 3 trees that were rotting and dangerous. They knew what needed to be done and had all the equipment ready for the job. They were professional, skilled and hard working. They came highly recommended by my neighbors and I will recommend them too.

Previous customer (and happy). Had an unsolicited quote on a line of dying trees by driveway. Price was excellent, today they did the work. Great work, good cleanup. Good electronic responses too. Can recommend! Two positive experiences.

Very reliable!! Professional!! Arrived and got the job done and done well!! Cleaned up and stacked the wood for us to burn!! Best price around! Highly recommend and will use again if we need more work done!! Mike was very personable and so was the young gentleman working with him! I'm a DIY person who rarely hires anyone, but this job required professionals with the right equipment and the right team. I am so glad I chose Hailey Tree. Tree work is tough work, and this was a tough job. Hailey Tree brought the right "guys" and did the job for a reasonable price. I needed 10 - one hundred foot + trees removed from behind my house. This required moving them over my house. They were very careful of the septic, plants, etc. and left a clean site. They even worked with me on a number of special requests including sorting the logs, saving the chips, firewood, and "while you're up there" could you trim that limb... I have many more trees and I am sure I will see them again.

This is my first review of any business. After reading some of the other reviews I felt compelled to share my experiences. I hope you find this useful.

Hailey has been back twice since I wrote the above note. They spent a day trimming trees for a wedding and yesterday removed an overgrown mess in the front yard. Just point and their gone. Mike is a superman when in the bucket. He can reach where others cannot. I have recommended him to at least 3 others and those that have used Hailey Tree have not been disappointed.

I have used Hailey Tree twice, once in 2020 and again in 2021. Each time they come out to give an estimate. They are very busy but responsive. I have done my due diligence and gotten quotes from other tree removal companies and Hailey Tree is BY FAR the most fair priced. I was FLOORED at the price another company wanted for THE EXACT same work. They wanted $7000 more. Yes, you read that right. SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS MORE. Hailey Tree is a great local company and they bust their butts outside in the elements. It is not easy work and they do it quickly, safely, and clean up as much as they can while they are working. Yes, it can be messy and you might be annoying to your neighbors for half a day. Get over it. They will. They leaf blow the chips and sticks and take as much care as they can to not damage lawns etc. You put a crane on a lawn though and you are going to leave tire/tread marks. Just facts. I 100% will use Hailey Tree again and I recommend them frequently. Super nice people as well.

Awful Service! Highly recommend you seek an alternative company! Sorry for a long one but this is important for all potential customers as well as the business. After a positive interaction and first service, I asked Hailey for a quote on some additional work on my property and a quote was provided. I scaled back the scope of the work to (as noted on estimate) "prune maple at front" and "Trim row of evergreens along driveway". I let them know that I'd like to move forward those on May 19th and requested that they let me now availability to do the work. No new quote was provided for the adjusted scope mind you. Some of the work I had already scaled back was due to gardens growing in fast. I received no response to my request about availability and 2 months later (after getting new quotes for the work with other companies) I receive a call from Hailey Tree telling me that the job was done and payment was due same day, yet no invoice was provided. I was not home that day and the following day I was able to look at the work performed in the light (please see images and video). For starters, if you expect to receive payment the day of service you need to properly communicate when you're performing the work. Voicemail left for Hailey tree the next day and we were able to catch up the next monday. (4 days later). I had a polite conversation with them and let them know I appreciated the work, wanted to get them payment, but was disappointed about the communications, and had some concerns about the outcome of work performed. Conversation ended with a plan to send them a check for the the maple pruning and that they would reach out to coordinate a time to review the concerns regarding the other work to find a resolution, this was at 1:30pm. With regards to the street curb being very damaged, I was told "thats a town issue and I should call them" but acknowledged that they parked on it and caused it, they even attempted to fix it but decided to just leave it. At about 4:30pm I received a phone call from my partner who was at home and extremely shaken, scared, and angry. One of the owners from Hailey Tree had just shown up at our property unannounced, proceeded to go around to the back of our house and with my partner in the back yard (she works remotely), he immediately began to Berate her, demanding she write a check on the spot and threaten to bring all the material back on site and dump it and "you can call the police, they won't do anything" and cause her to cry and feel scared in the privacy our of own property. Shame on you Hailey Tree, this is utterly unprofessional, unacceptable, and uncalled for. My partner had absolutely nothing to do with the service. So much for the plan that was set in action from the phone discussion earlier in the day. It's quite clear that Mike is risk to clients and I had tell them they are not allowed to come on my property going forward. My suggestion to any one seeking tree service is to steer very clear of Hailey Tree. Incredibly unprofessional showing a clear disregard for taking customer service seriously or showing respect to the clients whom have hired them as they do not take any precaution to protect the property or perform their work in a way that supports the plants they work on. Look at the fine print, they even say that they aren't responsible for any damage they cause whatsoever. Wow! You can see from the images that rather than cleanly cut small branches back they just ran through with a chain saw marring the branches and tree's themselves with utter disregard, something I wouldn't expect from a company that advertises on the website "you'll get quality service along with professional tree care". Absolutely not the case and truly awful service all around. I'd pay 3x what I did to someone who showed more professionalism than they can offer. I hope for their sake, they can improve and again I highly suggest you seek alternative arraignments for tree service and avoid Hailey Tree at all costs.

They were great! Tania was a delight to work with in terms of coordination, and Mike and James (hopefully I remembered the last night right!) expertly took down a tree that was past its prime right next to our house. You would barely know they did it save for a few wood chips left behind!
