First time calling Bartlett & Steadman to conduct a heat maintenance visit for two Carrier units. Josh was friendly, professional, and fantastic throughout the visit! He also was able to conduct an inspection on the plumbing while on site. Provided a detailed report of work notes and a breakdown of proposed work for us to review. Awesome first experience!

Excellent experience as always w Bartlett & Steadman. Rose in the office coordinated scheduling for Mike's walk through and estimate. Jesse, Daniel & crew executed a smooth and professional replacement of my antiquated cast iron boiler. They answered questions with an obvious passion for their trade, shared insight on the piping and connection upgrades and bled my radiators with care. The job site was left clean & Jesse followed up the next day to verify everything was running well.

From the start of this project to the completion, all the people of Bartlett& Steadman are high quality professionals who take pride in doing a great job. At the beginning of the season you serviced an old system and made sound recommendations for the future. we decided on a replacement AC unit. The project was well planned, date selected, and the installation took place.

Jason McCabe not only fixed the pilot problem to get my heat on, he gave me a bit of an education on my heating system. In the past Bartlett and Steadman have been prompt and thorough when I have called. They did not disappoint. Thank you!

We use Bartlett & Steadman Plumbing for all of our plumbing, etc, repair needs. They respond quickly and have been able to resolve any issues we have had and work to fix them, satisfactorily. We do not use any other services. The front office people are very nice, and work hard get us an appointment as quickly as possible. I feel that their prices are reasonable.

Fast, efficient and clean. Rose at the office is always very helpful and Mike, the owner understood our predicament and rapidly scheduled us in for the repair.

In a second visit for a quote on a whole house water filter (Nick) and a new HVAC system (Jason) Lauren in the office coordinated the visits to minimize impact on our household schedule. The quotes arrived on time as promised.

JP showed up after working a big difficult job earlier in the day and I thought he was going to say the day was over and he would come back another time. Instead (with a great smile and attitude) he proceeded to not only fix what we had called him for but was gracious enough to look at some other niggles we have had in our plumbing system. Elise, JP and Brendon were incredible-professional, skilled at their craft and cared about the client. What was supposed to be an hour job and a few hundred dollars turned into a day job and thousands of dollars. Through out the job, they had my best interest in mind, explained the challenges along the way and did what had to be done--stop water from going into my downstairs neighbor's condo. Thank you team for sticking with us and getting the job done correctly.

Josh at Bartlett & Steadman did an excellent job servicing and troubleshooting the heat pump at my house. He is diligent, thorough and considerate. So knowledgeable. I appreciate all that he did. 100% recommend!

Nice guy. Very attentive to our house. Went out of his way to explain what happened and after asking some questions, he then went downstairs. He did an annual maintenance and lowered the hot water as it was set to 135f and not the 120f. Good job Josh.

I called at 7:30 am with a clogged toilet and answering machine connected me quickly with office and they were able to send out a plumber first thing. I was very pleased with service and impressed that rep. who even put on booties to come into my home (as it was raining). He fixed problem quickly, was very pleasant and professional and he checked out several other issues and sent quotes for future projects. I signed up for discounted plan for all heating, a/c and plumbing issues going forward.

Continually B&S service staff are very professional, on time, courteous, and neat. They've gone out of their way to explain how things work and what upgrades they recommend in the future. Can always count on excellent service from Bartlett&Steadman.

Timely response. Accurate diagnosis of issue by Jason. In depth explanation of work to be done. Accurate estimate and caveats on what could increase the cost. Jesse and his team who did the installation are excellent. They took the extra effort to remove the old boiler and bring the new one in without damaging the house. This was not easy due to the age of the house. Very pleased with the work performed.

Excellent follow-up by Matt. Answered my operational questions and provided excellent recommendations for actions I could take to effectively maintain the system.

What excellent service! From calling and speaking with Lauren before the office was open to scheduling with Nick for same day service, everything was easy and seamless. Nick called before our time window to confirm he would be there during the time frame they gave us. He showed up, diagnosed and fixed the problem with our furnace. Nick was pleasant, professional and thorough. He went above and beyond to make sure I understood what the issue was. Thank you so much!

The worker called maybe 5-10 minutes before showing up.
He explained a lot about the Daikin mini split system - and what he was doing as he worked. After he pulled out the lint catchers he explained the easy way to clean them and put them back. AND, he let me put one set back myself! Really courteous guy. All of B&S workers are courteous. Everything went smoothly. Thanks.

A below-freezing day, we were away when we learned that our heating wasn't working. I am grateful to Mike Steadman for personally showing up and making the repairs to get the heat working again. When we returned there were still some issues. They came out and made additional repairs included in the original price. Thank you to Bartlett & Steadman Plumbing, Heating and AC!

My furnace was due for a seasonal check and a single maintenance issue was identified. Josh had the part with him and was able to replace the part quickly and cleanly! A very personable man, Josh explained everything and helped me to better understand thermostat setting techniques for winter months!

Nicholas P. was exceptional--a highly effective communicator able to share his technical knowledge. He provided excellent customer service and conveyed both attention to detail and a devotion to getting the job done right. Individually, the guys that did the work converting me from oil to gas and a high efficiency combi boiler-- Nicholas, Kyle and Ozzy-- were excellent. I didn't want to lower the rating because they earned 5 stars. What my customer experience lacked was a dedicated point person to manage the different aspects of the job (old equipment removal, inspections) and communicate with me vs. me calling the office. This includes contacting the customer if one cannot make a planned appointment (even if there is an emergency, you send a text or call). Overall, all's well that ends well and my experience with Kyle and Nick would make me highly recommend Bartlett & Steadman.

WOW what a rip off this company is. I hired them to install a faucet in my half bath and they spent nearly an hour doing nothing except coming up with estimates and looking at their phones. When they finally came up with a price it was $1470! I told them that was insane pricing and they left. That company is in big trouble right now due to a tragic incident that could have been avoided. I will never do business with them again. They
used to be a decent company and they have really lowered their
standards and are out to rip off their customers. When I called another local plumbing company, they gave me a price of $350
to install the faucet. Unbelievable.

Rose does a great job scheduling appointments, providing updates and advising of any changes to the schedule.
Josh is a very personable technician and plumber. He is patient and helpful. He explains the work to be performed and the outcome . His pictures our very helpful as well as the online quotes he is able to share if additional work is required.

Bartlett & Steadman was great! We had an AC issue on a hot day and they got it resolved quickly. They communicated promptly and clearly. The technician was polite, explained the issue clearly, and took extra time to check the system and make some helpful recommendations. They definitely earned our business!
