We have been using VMA Electric for a number of years, and they are always responsive, punctual and professional. Their pricing is also competitive.

The owner, Victor, usually comes out to understand the requested work and to provide an estimate. He is very helpful and knowledgeable and provides useful insight to the work you want to do. He doesn't try to expand the project or upsell with things you don't need. The office manager, Lorrayne, is extremely helpful and customer oriented, and returns calls and emails promptly. The technicians who perform the work are knowledgeable and considerate, perform the work efficiently, and are happy to answer any questions.

VMA Electric is our go to for any electric needs, and we will certainly hire them again in the future.

I have used VMA for electrical issues large and small over the past several years. Living in an older home for many years I have hired a number of different electricians. VMA is the only company I will ever use for electrical issues again. Their level of professionalism, thoroughness, patience, organization, and skill is beyond reproach. They are highly responsive, providing timely, thorough, and fair bids. The dates set for work start and completion have always been met for each job done on my property. All interactions with management and electricians is positive, productive, and professional. I actually look forward to contacting VMA in spite of the fact that contact with VMA means I need to have work done!

VMA electric was fantastic! They estimated what the cost to upgrade our electric panel would be and that was exactly what we paid in the end. The electricians they sent were very professional and did excellent work. They even patched the wall and ceiling where they had to make access holes to feed new wire after they were done. When I experienced a partial power loss in several rooms of my home, VMA Electric was the only company able to fit me in rather than make me wait three or four weeks for service. Tom was dispatched to my house with a one-hour window and was able to diagnose my problem and restore power in a little over two hours. Tom was very polite, respectful of my property and was extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend VMA Electric!

VMA Electrical is superb on every level. The owner, Victor, came out personally to my home and gave an estimate within three days of my phone call. He provided a fair and reasonable price for the services to be performed. Victor is a great guy and you immediately feel you know he will do a good job on your project. Lorrayne, who runs the office, is a rare example of someone in this day and age who know how to give excellent customer service and make her customers happy. She answers phone calls and emails immediately and is so polite and helpful. The two men who came to do the actdual work, Matt and Tyler, were excellent - they are consummate professionals - considerate, clean and hard workers. They worked from early morning until late afternoon every day and finished my project a day early. They left the house immaculate and they were wonderful at answering my questions and getting the work done in a superb, timely manner. I could not have been happier with my choiceof VMA Elecric; you feel you are dealing with a very happy family of professionals!. I recommend them without any reservations whatsoever and I will certainly hire them again in the future.

We've had VMA electric do some work at our house twice and both times the whole process was very pleasant. Everyone was extremely courteous, the work was done on-time and of high quality, and the prices were fair. Since moving into our new home, we've had a lot of people come out to do work; I just wish they would all have been as professional as VMA Electric!

After the last big snowstorm and losing power for a couple of days, it was time to do something to be able to use my portable generator to at least fire up my oil boiler for heat and hot water. I contacted VMA to install a single circuit transfer switch for my oil boiler since my electrical panel is full and adding a whole house interlock was not an option.

Both Victor and Lorrayne in the office were great to deal both via email and over the phone and they answered all my questions and were very prompt and thorough and got me scheduled super fast.

The technicians from VMA showed up right on time and were friendly and professional from start to finish. They answered all my questions and were just great to deal with. The whole job was done in under and hour and now I have peace of mind knowing I will always have heat and hot water. While the wiring of the switch was not really a tough challenge, it is really nice to know it was done right by a professional so I have no worries. A friend referred me to VMA Electric and I know I'll use them for all my future electrical projects.

Who hasn't experienced chirping smoke detectors in the middle of the night. After trying several Electricians, VMA Electric was the only one where a real human being answered the phone. Lorrayne was friendly, professional and got right down to business of collecting information about the number of smoke detectors that were in my house and where they were located. I thought I was going to have to wait weeks for service but my new units were installed 4 days later...that's service. And the gentlemen were polite and efficient! I got the discount for first time customers and the job was done in 2 hours as promised.

We hired VMA to install a vanity light and an outdoor spotlight. They arrived within the stated window, were very professional, and completed the work as expected and made sure to understand exactly what we wanted to make sure the work met our desires. Would definitely use them again.

During the recent purchase of a home we found a number of older/ungrounded outlets throughout the house. In addition the garage and the bedroom above it were no longer getting power. Those factors, along with a desire to upgrade to a 200 amp service, led us to contact VMA Electric. From the initial contact onward they were responsive and professional. They came to the property right away, got me an estimate the next day, and started work quickly. The crews were prompt, friendly, and professional. During the work they uncovered more issues and explained them to me thoroughly, making me feel informed and in control of the decisions. Ultimately I chose to expand the scope of the project to fully re-wire most of the house. VMA worked diligently and I am extremely satisfied with their work, from their crews to their office staff. I would highly recommend this company and intend to use them for any future electrical needs!

I needed an electric ceiling fan installed to a difficult spot on a very high ceiling. VMA did an awesome job at a fair price. The electricians were friendly, courteous, and skilled. They did a surprisingly good job keeping the area they worked on clean despite some drywall cutting and spackling. I would return to them again in a heartbeat.

VMA was prompt courteous and competitive in their Bid. Communication has been open and often on scheduling work and what would be worked on each day. The electricians are polite, Neat and clean up each day after they are done to help get the house back in order from the days work. VMA Electric has brought our wiring from the 19th century into the 21st and I would recommend them to anyone looking to update an older house.

VMA installed all new smoke and CO detectors and moved some wires from a wall we knocked down, moved 2 outlets and installed a new light fixture. Lorrayne answers all calls promptly and is the definition of good customer service. The 2 different electricians they sent to do the 2 jobs were on time, efficient, knowledgeable and nice. We would definitely use them again for any electrical work we need done.

We hired VMA to install recessed lighting, run cable to the second floor, and replace exterior lighting fixtures. From start to finish VMA exceeded our expectations for an electrical contractor. The initial walk-through and estimate were comprehensive and easy to understand. Deciding on our final scope of work and scheduling were a breeze. The work was done over two days. The guys were polite, respectful, tidy, and efficient. We made some last minute changes and appreciated the advice provided. We are very happy with how our lighting turned out and would hire VMA in the future.

Complete electrical panel upgrade from 100 to 200, and 10 grounded outlets installed in a number of rooms. VMA was extremely professional and very responsive. They were patient with all of our questions about the requirements for this kind of job, and were able to help us better understand and get comfortable with the process. They coordinated any necessary permits and inspections, and were very quick and clean in the house. They are able to provide accurate estimates for any electrical work needed, and the installers were both friendly and knowledgeable. We would definitely look to do business with them again!

We needed some final work done on the removal of knob and tube wiring that had been done earlier by other electricians - apparently not perfectly enough for our insurance company.
The man from VMA who came to investigate the problem and prepare the work project for the crew was thorough, efficient, and professional - so much so that it was clear after his visit that his was the company we would engage. The workers themselves were speedy, careful, professional, and courteous. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Having a go to electrician is a must have as a homeowner. I've used VMA Electric multiple times for project based work around the house from changing out light switches, fixtures, etc. to running a new electrical feed to the garage. Their electricians are fantastic and pay great attention to detail. But I have to say that the best part about working with them is the professionalism of the scheduling and service people. They over communicate, are always on time, and are incredibly responsive. That is a rarity when working with contractors which makes it so much more enjoyable to work with VMA.
