Kermit B Schulz & Sons originally installed both out heating and whole house cooling systems 16 years ago and we are very satisfied with their professionalism, installation and service.
Unfortunately this year our A/C system required a major repair. Kermit B Schulz & Sons was contacted and I was able to not only quickly schedule a service call that identified the problem but I was able to receive a quote for the repair.
Kermit B Schulz & Sons presented multiple repair scenarios for us as well as presenting a possible system replacement that would be energy efficient over our present unit. The work was scheduled and Kermit B Schulz & Sons executed the removal , installation and complete check out of the new system.
I would highly recommend Kermit B Schulz & Sons for nay heating and cooling needs.

We have done two large projects with Kermit and Schultz. In both homes we have replaced two complete HVAC systems and have installed a traditional water heater as well as a tankless on demand system. We have been thrilled with the level of service and professionalism from everyone at Kermit and Schultz. Brian Anderson, our sales/project manager, is always available to answer our questions and very patient in explaining how the process works. The installation crew are true professionals, efficient and also ready to answer all questions and concerns. We would not hesitate to recommend Kermit and Schultz over and over again. We have been so pleased that many of our friends, including my parents, are also now customers.

Had ductwork and heat pumps installed for two new systems in my home. Dennis and Chip were great to work with on the back end, going above and beyond to ensure I got the best system I could and helped me navigate the MassSave programs. Brian and the install team were incredibly professional, timely, and considerate of where things would fit into my home.

We initially called Kermit Schultz & Son’s to have service done on our very old gas furnace. They informed us that the system was original to the house and while it was still working, we should consider a new system, which we already knew. We called around to a few other local companies to compare and they all stated the same thing. The only difference was Kermit Schultz & Son’s took the time to explain the “why’s” and took the time to answer all of our questions. There was no pressure. Their customer service, attention to detail, and genuine concern for their customers is what made them stand out from all of the other companies we had received estimates from. We would highly recommend them to anyone and would use them again. They made you feel like part of the family.

Kermit B Schulz & Sons Inc. replaced my (2) original HVAC systems with (2) new heat pumps. Before we decided on the heat pumps, they took us thru the pros and cons of each option including why we should not waste the money on adding 1-2 additional heat pump(s) on our top floor. Their foreman Brian is one of the best - friendly, knowledgeable, thorough, and professional - and the work they did came out excellent and clean. I would highly recommend!

I had a new gas furnace, cooling coil and condensing unit installed. Sales was prompt and quick with their scheduling. Management updated me with the install timeline. The technicians were friendly and informative. The install went as scheduled. I am very happy with the installation. I have been a customer of KBS for many years and will continue to be a customer.

I have done business with this company for over 45 years. They installed the duct work in our home, a furnace, and air conditioning unit. The air conditioner was still working when we replace it last week after 31 years. I believe it speaks to the quality of the AC unit and the skill of the technicians at Schulz who did yearly maintenance on it.
All of our interaction with staff starting with Betty in the office to the technicians we have at our home have been very positive. We needed a new furnace this month, and contacted Schulz & other businesses for a quote. Schulz gave us a better unit for less than their competitors.
The same with the AC. They installed both the same day with no inconvenience to us. We are happy to continue doing business with them.

My HVAC was going on 25 years. Replace or not replace? KBS had been servicing my old system for about a decade and I was already acquainted with the company's high professional standards. So we got in touch. When I learned that KBS contracts with Trane HVAC Company and then it appeared that Trane had recently replaced the airconditioning system in the train Chunnel to effect Europe's largest airconditioning system, I became convinced that it was time for my humble basement to move up in the world, to set its sights higher. I wanted my basement to get the respect that it deserves. KBS expertly took care of the engineering (maneuvering around July 4). Owner Chip dropped by for a critical intervention when the condo layout posed some unique challenges. Many thanks also to Mike and Sergei. I am very happy with the result. When I go down my basement I now blow my train whistle and go to choo choo choo (not really).

We have used Kermit Schultz and Sons on multiple occasions and have always been very satisfied with the work performed. The first time was fixing a heater venting issue that no other company could seem to resolve. Kermit and team was able to quick address and successfully fix the issue. The next time was an emergency replacement of a central air unit that needed to be replaced in July 2019. Kermit quickly put me on schedule within the week to replace. Workmanship is always top notch and fair and reasonably priced. Thank you to his team I highly recommend.

I had an aging AC system and of course during the hottest stretch of the summer it went down, Kermit Schulz & Sons came out and first tried to get my system up and running and was able to get one of the 2 units running. The next day I met a rep for the company and he inspected the house and system requirements and gave me a quote within 24 hours. The install was scheduled and done within 10 days. As is my luck, one of the brand new units had a faulty part that needed to be ordered and the installer called and explained and could not have been more accomodating given the situation and actually gave me his personal cell # to call if I needed anything. I could not have had a better experience and would highly recommend this company if you need repair or replacement of your heating and AC. Call Betty and she will take care of you

I recently had a new boiler and water heater installed. Kermit B Schulz was amazing with setting up the job and the follow through.They treated my home as if was their own. Their work was excellent and they
left the job broom clean.
The staff is also excellent to deal with. especially Brian Anderson. Betty in the office was great, she set up my appointment and helped get the job scheduled in a timely manner. I like that she takes the time to explain anything you do not understand concerning how the job is done.
All the staff that worked my project were very knowledgeable. and polite.

I had them install a Mitsubishi mini split in one room of my house. I talked to a few companies and they had the best pricing and were the only one that performed a calculation to determine the best size for my installation. Everyone else quoted systems 2-3 times larger which didn't make any sense. The installation was quick and they kept things clean and protected even though it started pouring out. Brian was really friendly and kept me informed throughout and walked me through the system once it was up and running.

Dennis was great tons of field experience so I knew his knowledge would be super helpful. Being a small business owner I know the value of great service. Everything went exactly as planned. I even got a better price than expected. Thank you.

This is the second time I have worked with this company. 2017 new heating system, this past July 2024 new A/C unit replaced. Chip, Bob and Betty are wonderful to work with. Their installation crew is top notch. Pricing is comparable to all companies out there or better depending on your needs. To anyone looking to upgrade/replace this is the company you want to work with.

While I thought I needed AC mini splits to cool my home, the team from KBS scoped it in detail and clearly explained why they were not suitable. Not only that, they collaborated on what options would work best to use and expand my existing ductwork and quickly got back to me with a revised and cheaper estimate that saved space and installation. Kudos to the Kermits - that is why I use them!!

KBS was able to figure out why my house was struggling to cool during the very hot spells, and came up with a solution that was *not* a full replacement (as others had suggested), but actually worked! The bedrooms are cool again! Thanks, KBS team!

We had a new A/C unit installed by KB Schulz this year. Their pricing was competitive with other companies we quoted. The crew was timely and extremely respectful. They were very mindful of keeping noises down around our newborn and were flexibile around our timing. They checked in with us several times throughout the summer to ensure everything was running smoothly. Would highly recommend this company to anyone and will use again if the need arises.

The entire team was amazing. Dennis came out to evaluate our systems as we needed a new furnace and AC. He asked what I was looking for. There was no pressure to buy anything. I was not interested in a dual fuel pump. He gave me several different quotes. When the team came out, they were so professional and kind. They installed everything in 2 day. The electrician unbeknownst to me had been my electrician in the past. The plumber was awesome and I now have a new plumber. Chip was kind and knew my spouse from many years ago. His sister who's name I forget was equally as kind. It felt like a family reunion. I can't say enough about this company! Just awesome! Keep it local. And thanks again.

Kermit B Schulz is one of the few trustworthy and knowledgeable vendors I have ever worked with for my home. Brian & his team were able to diagnose our tricky HVAC issues in a less than an hour (something two other vendors couldn't do in their five total visits), put in a temporary fix to get us through a heatwave, and eventually completed a big job to remedy our previously poorly installed system. This is a family-run business, and every team member really knows their stuff. Pricing was transparent and fair, and I always felt informed throughout the process. I cannot recommend KBS enough!

I have been using Kermit Schulz for my residential HVAC maintenance for about 20 years. I recently had to replace my downstairs unit and they did an excellent job. Everyone was extremely polite and professional. The AC now runs colder than it ever has. I highly recommend this company.
