They came out right away on a Sunday during a bad snow storm because our boiler had failed. The parts are no longer available but they drained all the water from the system so the pipes wouldn't freeze and came out right away to put in a new gas boiler as soon as they were able.

This was not an emergency call. The technician was on site for approximately one hour and performed basic cleaning of pipes. No parts were replaced, and no materials were used.

The total charge of $350 consists of:
• $150 service call fee
• $50 diagnostic fee
• $150 cleaning charge

In my experience—and consistent with standard industry practice—the initial service call fee is typically credited toward the work performed when repairs or services are completed. Alternatively, charges are generally based on an hourly labor rate plus parts, neither of which justifies this total in my case, as no parts were used and the total time on site was one hour.

Charging a service call fee, a diagnostic fee, and a separate cleaning fee for a non-emergency, one-hour visit results in an effective rate of $350 per hour, which I find excessive and inconsistent with customary billing practices.

Great experience! Came in last week, diagnosed the problem, and communicated with me on Thanksgiving day about our options. Gave us three options and no pressure as to any of them. Opted to get a new furnace and worked us into the schedule first thing Monday morning! Their technicians installed the new furnace, did extra duct work, and insulated our existing ducts quickly and thoroughly. We can’t thank them enough for the great work.

I have been working with Target Air for over 10 years and they are amazing. Always professional and knowledgeable. They have always repair my issues and I also use them twice a year for my HVAC maintenance.

Target was everything you want in a service provider. They were responsive throughout the process taking the time to help us understand what would be happening, when, and why. They were at our house when they said they would be there. They were accessible when we had questions. The people who performed the work were professional and friendly. When the job was complete they followed up and made themselves available to teach us what we needed to know about the system. We cannot say enough about how well they performed. We would not hesitate to use them again ourselves or recommend them to others.

In general, I have found this to be a great service with maintenance and responsiveness.

However, they really stepped up when I needed them most. We got back into town on New Year’s Eve to find that our furnace had failed. Chris offered to come that very night to look at the furnace and assess parts even though it was New Year’s Eve.

They offered me several options without any hard sell. Once we had decided his crew was there on January 2 and the entire replacement was done by January 3 in the evening. They were quick to respond and complete the project, and very we are happy with the new system.

We've been using Target Air for years and they have always been helpful and reliable. We recently used them to replace our entire aging HVAC system with a dual fuel heat pump system and a minisplit. They were really helpful walking through all the options and assisted with all the Mass Saves paperwork. They are great to work with and we are loving our new system.
