Patrick did an outstanding job. He showed up promptly, thoroughly inspected the problem, and clearly explained the cause and next steps. He took photos/video for documentation, was careful while working in the unit, and communicated professionally the whole time. Great workmanship and customer service, highly recommend Patrick for plumbing work.

Tom Stinchfield did an amazing job installing my reverse osmosis filter system for my home and replace my garbage disposal. It was a multi day project, and he was always kind and considerate. He took the extra time to make sure the job was done right and walk me through all of the steps and care for my system. Tom is an exceptional example of the support I've received from Green Energy over the years.

Green Energy Micanical in Canton was invaluable in a time when i needed help. I know absolutly nothing about heating systems or air cooling systems but I definitly knew when my heating system failed me in a very bad cold wave. I called numerous Heating repair companies but could not pay the very high prices as I am on a very limited budget . I took a chance with Green energy after having at least 3 other companies look at my system Green Energy came looked at what I needed and before I knew It they Quoted me a more resonable pice . I was so stressed I could not think straight and they took my worry away with a fabulouse team that came and replace my furnace and air conditoner system and when I tell you it was complicated it gave them many surprises very old system .I don't know what more to say about this company other than they helped me more than I can say worked Hard fixed everything my heating system works fabulous and in the spring will get my air conditioner up and running.

I HIGHLY recommend Larry Smith and the folks over at Green Energy Mechanical Inc in Canton.

Our 24 year old furnace died during a cold snap, and Larry was beyond helpful and professional! He sent his field supervisor, Mark, out to the house within 45 minutes to evaluate the job and give us a guaranteed estimate. Not only was he timely and professional, but the cost to replace the furnace (which included removal of the old one) was very reasonable!

As promised, the three techs, Derek, George and Tigga, showed up at 8am sharp the next morning. They were courteous, respectful, professional and efficient, and they completed the job that day! The heating system is working beautifully, thanks to Green Energy Mechanical!

Called in the morning and they were here in the afternoon. Excellent service rep was knowledgeable and friendly. Diagnosed the issue quickly and he and his management were able to provide several courses of action to fix my situation. The service rep was able to demonstrate and show me clearly what the defective parts were and what the dangers of leaving the system in place. Thank you for the excellent service!

As a Needham homeowner, I value contractors who show up when promised and treat the house with respect. Green Energy checked both boxes for me. The technician explained my options clearly and gave a written estimate before starting. The work itself looked tidy, and they tested everything, checked for leaks, and cleaned up. I also appreciated that they took time to answer a few extra questions that weren’t strictly part of the job. Scheduling was straightforward and the office was responsive.

Pricing felt on the higher side for certain items, so it’s worth asking for a detailed breakdown and alternatives. That said, I never felt pushed toward an unnecessary replacement. On one visit a part wasn’t on the truck, which meant a second trip, but they were upfront about it and communicated the plan. Since the service, my system has been running as it should, and they flagged what to watch for next season.

I like that they handle both heating and plumbing, which keeps things simple for future maintenance. Professional, courteous techs and solid follow-through overall. Verdict: dependable service with room to improve on pricing transparency and parts readiness; 4/5 and I’d use them again for routine work.

My husband and I need a new heater but we've been hoping to keep it going until we are ready. Unfortunately, our heater decided it was time and we called Green Energy to see where we stand. Their technician Mohamed came out and went right to work. He checked every inch of our heater, took pictures and unfortunately for him and embarrassingly for us he inhaled a lot of dust. He didn't just come in and eye our heater and then tell us we need to buy a new one he took the time to see what was really going on. He was very polite and professional. We will be doing business with them soon.

Update my rating as no call back after I schedule several times to try to talk with the manager about finding a way to cover the restoration fee which is caused by the new hvac system that is being installed within a year.

I was initially pretty upset when I discovered water leakage from my HVAC system — especially since it had just been installed last December. It’s a stressful situation no homeowner wants to deal with.

That said, I really appreciate Green Energy’s quick response once I reached out. They sent technician Dan to inspect the issue, and he was incredibly professional, thorough, and helpful. He carefully reviewed the condensate pump setup, explained what was happening, and added an extra layer of protection to the power system to help prevent this from recurring.

Dan’s visit and the company’s willingness to step in quickly helped restore my confidence. I’m grateful for the follow-up and would recommend Green Energy to others — especially for how they handled the situation when something went wrong.

Our heating system stopped working briefly just before a cold spell. The Green Energy folks responded quickly to check it out as promised and Mohamed called ahead and arrived on time. He did a very thorough review of our system and offered options for maintenance and long term repair to make the system more reliable. He was very competent and professional and was very mindful of not tracking dirt into our home. Fortunately the system is functioning for the moment and we are weighing the options Green Energy offered.

The tech who arrived on time helped solve my immediate problem in a timely fashion. He was attentive, courteous, knowledgeable and very responsive! I am so grateful for his help. He was especially great at addressing all my concerns.

I called in Green Energy for an issue with my heat and Thermostat not working. I was provided 3 options by Kevin who is also on their video and I chose the option 3 for installing a thermostat which was shown as Honeywell T6 and I signed it. They charged me for T6 installation and installed Honeywell T4 instead. The technician Richard who installed apologized saying he could not find T6 at the warehouse and said he will install T4. I told him you guys showed me T6 and charged for that. He said I should call the office. When I called the office about it they sent me an invoice showing T4 for the same amount. The difference in amount is around $50-$70 depending on where you purchase it The lady at the office keeps saying she reached out to the manager (Kevin) and waiting for response. She had promised to call me next day but did not. I followed up again she again gave me same reason. This does not look like good business practice. They should have apologized for installing T4 instead of T6 and refunded the difference in amount. As simple as that. They are making me follow up multiple times. I want to give a positive feedback for the work but these things bring bad name to their business.

Tony came out and was very professional and knowledgeable. He explained everything well and was pleasant to work with. Although this company does not give you a window of time for when a technician will arrive, they are able to update you during the day as to what number you are on the list. He cleaned my heating system and gave me a quote for a repair I’d like to do in the future.

Paul License installed a heat pump setup composed of 2 outdoor compressors and 7 indoor units at my house in Needham, MA. Paul did an excellent job mapping out where to position the units and run all the necessary conduits. His attention to detail was outstanding - meaning that he did the job right. I appreciated his help getting us up to speed on how heat pumps operate and how to use heat pumps to suite our needs.

Delighted and relieved to give Paul our highest recommendation. We discovered a leak in a pipe above our water heater in the basement - by luck caught it in time to prevent serious damage, but it was 2PM on a Saturday and we had turned off the water main to prevent additional leaking. Paul responded to our post on the Needham website and said he could help us. He showed up as promised and quickly fixed the problem, charging a very reasonable rate. Our house guests (and we!) now have water again, and what could have been a long wait to find someone to help turned out to be just a few hours. Pleasant, professional, prompt - we'll be happy to call him again for our next homeowner adventure.

Paul did an excellent job replacing our air compressor for our AC. Very professional. First class workmanship. He is very intelligent, resourceful, and polite. Very responsive to our needs. The job wound up being far more complex than initially expected due to the faulty workmanship of the company that installed the furnace. Paul was able to resolve the problems and really deliver. Highly recommend.

Paul definitely knows what he is doing and did an excellent job replacing an oil furnace and an electric resistance heater by installing two Bosch state of the art heat pumps. The work he did, including total duct replacement, was phenomenal and received compliments from other contractors working in the house. His attention to detail and the fact he always looks for perfection are reassuring. I highly recommend Paul’s services!
