Had a big issue at my bakery with our walk in freezer. Not only was Lewis quick getting out to us, but he was courteous and kept me informed every step of the way. He turned what could’ve been a disaster into a positive situation. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone at anytime, the best!

Very grateful to Louis and Northshore HVAC! He was able to fit us in for AC repair within just three days, versus three weeks for many other places I called, helping to keep our toddler cool and comfortable during a heat wave. He arrived within the estimated service window, fixed the issue quickly, and explained his findings. Professional and nice!

Lewis first came by to check on my central air unit because it was acting funny. He got to my house in two dash during the busy season and be tuned it up quickly. I appreciated him wearing a mask, gloves, and shoe coverings without me having to even ask.

More incredibly though, after telling me his rate to install a new Nest thermostat, I tried to do it myself and spent hours with Nest support and couldn’t get it working. I called Lewis to see if he would come over and do it and instead he walked me through it over the phone free of charge and I had it working in minutes. Such great service. I highly recommend!

Louis was fantastic in troubleshooting a not so straightforward issue with our furnace. He was very knowledgeable, communicated effectively and we found that we got amazing service quality for the value. Louis will be our go to for anything related to heating, cooling systems going forward!

I was so happy to find this service. Lewis is wonderful, very professional, prompt, and reliable. He discovered the problem I was having with a large standing freezer and took care of it the morning the parts came in! In this time of Covid, it can be so hard to get repair and maintenance services, so I feel I have a real find in Lewis. I can recommend him to anyone. I was very impressed with the service provided!! Elderly parents had multiple problems with the AC due to letting yearly maintenance slip and some kind of rodent chewing on the wires. Lewis was prompt and worked tirelessly to make sure my parents had air conditioning back as soon as possible. He responded to my call quickly, came to the house at the scheduled time and was patient with our many questions and concerns. He replaced several parts in the compressor and changed filters, unplugged the clogged water line and replaced a non-functioning thermostat. He made several trips over the two days without complaint- to ensure everything was in good working order. He was professional and courteous- and of course had excellent knowledge of AC equipment/ unit.
We signed up for yearly maintenance and he is also going to check out the AC at my house this week too. That’s how impressed I am with his services.

I was lucky to have done with Louis from Northshore last year for the first time for my AC unit. I called Louis last week to help me with my tenants heating system to make sure it was set for the winter. Louis came within 3 days and performed and updated the necessary work. I would highly suggest doing business with Louis to everyone. He is very professional, very well versed in his work and fully explains everything to you before he does anything. Lewis from Northshore HVAC/R is the absolute best and I would recommend him and his company to anyone that needs HVAC services done! My central air system stopped working last week and, on the same day that I called Lewis, he came out to my home as soon as he was available. He took a look at the issue and, let me tell you, he saved the day for me! He resolved the problem within 1 day and I had my AC back up and running in no time. I already recommended Northshore HVAC to my family members & friends and will continue to use their services going forward!

Lewis is the owner of Northshore HVAC/R Svc. My first impression about him is great when he took off his shoes before he entered my house without me asking him to do so. His action tell me that he is very mindful of what he does and he is respecting his customer. I really appreciate he did that even thought it seems very small and may not important to some people; but this is important to me especially for the culture where I came from.

Lewis job performance and knowledge is above and beyond. He is honest and on point. He recommended the slap need to be leveled before my new condenser unit can be install. He also double check to ensure my central air system is compatible with the new condenser, and these stuff that something I was not aware of. Not to mentioned that other’s service men before him never mentioned these things to me except Lewis. This made him stand out compare to others. Lewis arrive on time and explain most of my concern. He finished the job in a timely manner and very professional manner. I highly recommend him to anyone that need Central Air services or anything else that he is providing and you won’t be disappointed. I definitely will use his service again in the future.

It’s so comforting to have Luis as a trusted HVAC expert. As a first time homeowner I’m pretty clueless and have a very old furnace. Luis has supported us a couple of times with the last time being a very urgent issue due to the cold snap. He came out quickly with our pipes being frozen and was able to repair our very old furnace. I’m so thankful to have someone like Luis who always responds and knows what he’s doing. Highly recommend!!

Lewis is incredibly professional and thorough. We moved into a new home where the mini-splits had been neglected and were filled with cigarette smoke. Lewis and his team were able to make the system like new by diligently and carefully taking apart both units, cleaning and disinfecting them, and then reassembling for use the same day. We plan to have him back to give our furnace the same level of care. He’s made it so our system will last for years to come!

Lewis had done some recent work for my father so when I needed my HVAC motor replaced, my father suggested I reach out to him for good service and a better price. Lewis quickly got me a quote to replace the motor and came the following week. He noticed a few other issues while there, explained it to me in detail, and ran some testing without an added charge. I would definitely work with him again as such good service is hard to find.

I originally called Lewis with an AC problem years ago. He came right away and fixed the issue. I had a similar problem again this year and he called me back within 5 minutes! It was an emergency and he came out same day. He looked over the unit, found the problem, and gave us a quote. I decided that the unit was too old to repair so I simply upgraded to a brand new system. Lewis was able to get everything to us immediately - since we had no air conditioning at all - and everything was installed within the week after the original call. He did an amazing job, knew what he was talking about, and offered a few solutions. There's no need to look for anyone else for us - he's our HVAC guy!

My experiences with Lewis from Northshore HVAC/R Services has always been great and outstanding. He is informative, respectful and professional. He is honest and a problem solver, he will inform you about the HVAC issues and give you options on how to address it. I recently made an emergency call on Sunday and he fixed the problem within an hour or so on a hot day! I will always recommend Lewis and his team.

Lewis showed up on time, was professional and very friendly! He explained everything to me in full detail which was helpful as I’m not totally versed in these systems. He gave me several options and suggestions. He even went to the store to grab specific parts he needed in order to finish the job today. I am extremely satisfied with Lewis and his services. He will also be helping me with my AC unit in a few months. Highly recommend!

UPDATE: I called Lewis the day after the service as mine and my tenants units were not working. I checked the units, with him on the phone, and he had forgotten to turn the units back on. No big deal, we all make mistakes. He said he’d take care of me when he came back in a few months for the remainder of services. I received an estimate for the services. When I called a few months later per our discussion of service Lewis told me the price was no longer valid. I can understand a slight increase of products getting more expensive. The new estimate was $150 more with additional $60 more in labor. I guess the promise of treating me well after leaving both units off went to the wayside. Poor practice in my opinion and not a way to treat a returning customer who gave you a 5 star review. I can no longer recommend this business.

Louis arrived on time with helper. They installed a Humidifier in a few short hrs. Went over the usage and maintenance Looks great. Very satisfied with work and professional job.

Excellent service, friendly tech, Louis is a cool dude, so is his assistant John. I thought my 40 yr old condenser was dead and he resuscitated it and had it humming in about an hour. I will definitely do business with him again!
