I have used North Shore HVAC two times now and will continue to use them in the future. Louis (the owner) is very knowledgeable, and extremely responsive. He showed up to my house the same day I called NS HVAC and addressed my issues promptly and gave a fair price. I’m very happy with NS HVAC and would recommend them to everyone.

Lewis gave us terrific service fixing a problem with AC cold air distribution. He arrived within 24 hours of contacting him, explained everything he would do, and then did it. Highly recommend.

This was not my first experience with Lewis. I called him for service again this season because he was so good. I mean, why reinvent the wheel? In addition to his professionalism for the job, in general, he was generous with advice on getting the most out of heating and cooling efficiency.

I just needed preventative maintenance but I had neglected it for a while and really appreciated Lewis explaining what he was looking for. He even gave me a heads up on some repairs that I'll need to make in the future. I love that the invoice shows exactly what he checked and includes photos. I've already recommended him to my neighbors and will absolutely keep working with him in the future.

When my HVAC started failing last summer, I was lucky to find Northshore HVAC/R. Lewis responded quickly and got it cooling again, but warned that it was not a long lasting fix. Since the unit was 15 years old, I decided it was better to replace it rather than wait for a complete breakdown, especially given the supply chain delays everyone is experiencing. Northshore has just installed the new HVAC, and I couldn’t be happier with it - much quieter than the former one. The whole process of ordering, delivery and installation went smoothly. Lewis worked efficiently and non-obtrusively, and was ready to explain the inner workings of the HVAC. I very much appreciated his competence, reactivity and punctuality, and recommend his services highly.

Lewis did an excellent job fixing our fickle central air conditioning unit. We were quoted a ridiculous amount to fix it ($4,000) or replace it ($10,000-20,000). Lewis determined their analysis of the issue was incorrect and got in touch with a Trane expert and then promptly fixed our unit. He arrived promptly, responded quickly to texts, took proper COVID precautions, and was extremely professional. His pricing is also extremely reasonable. We will definitely use his HVAC services again!

Louis is amazing!! Called him Saturday morning at 9am & was here by 11am!!! Came with mask & booties. So professional, fast & even educated us. He even had the transformer part in his truck. The price was very fair & reasonable. I can’t believe what a good experience this service was. It’s two weeks before Christmas & I was afraid we would not have heat. Hire Louis! You will not be disappointed!!!

I have used Lewis for several years to repair two older systems and just had him replace furnace and AC. Always does an excellent job. I highly recommend using his services.

Lewis from Northshore has been such a tremendous help as we moved into a new home. He's addressed several issues that have come up, always taking time to explain the problem and his recommendations. He's polite, responsive, and very trustworthy. He gives a us a great sense of what problems need to be addressed immediately and which can be deferred, which I find very helpful, as it can be hard to make sense of recommendations from specialists sometimes. We'll be using Northshore for our future heating/cooling needs.
