Bryan and his team did an exceptional job installing a new Combi for my homes hot water and space heating. When Bryan stopped by to discuss the contract work for the first time, he was prompt and did a great job explaining all the stages to complete the install. The whole process was great and will definitely use them again in the future.
His team was prompt when showing up each day, polite, patient when explaining details to someone going through this install for the first time, and kept the work tidy. I truly appreciate them taking a little bit of extra time to organize all wires and piping to create a clean look.
Lastly, the boiler is running great and I'm looking forward to saving some money each year in heating expenses.

Affordable heating and air conditioning came out and did an emergency heat and AC install just when it started to get cold when I had no heat, they fit me into their busy schedule, great work, great guys, couldn’t ask for better service. We chose to have Affordable Heat & Air replace our furnace and a/c system, and had a fantastic experience. The owner, Brian, is extremely knowledgeable and is happy to take the time to educate his clients. He was able to get our job scheduled quickly (within days). The service technician, Jimmy, has excellent customer service skills. He came to our home and thoroughly explained to us what equipment we had at the time, and what to expect with the new equipment coming in. He was happy to answer (in detail) any and all questions/concerns we had. Jimmy and his crew did an amazing job with the installation. They completed the job in less than a day and a half, which we were thrilled about. Jimmy also provided us with safety information regarding the water and electrical that went along with our equipment. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the service AH&A provided, and are happy to recommend them for HVAC needs.

They came on time, quickly diagnosed the problem (a bad thermostat), installed a new one, made sure the rest of the system was working properly, and shared helpful tips. They're friendly, efficient, and reasonably priced. I'm very happy with the experience!

Brian and Jimmy did an amazing job on my house. They replaced the oil heater with a natural gas heater and the job they did was nothing short of stellar. The way they laid the pipes is a work of art, and the heater work perfectly. I highly recommend them.

Had the crew out to replace and install a new Heat Pump system. They were prompt, courteous, worked well, worked around a lot of the craziness I had going on. I can’t say enough good things about them. The new system works great and I absolutely would work with them again.

This is a review that has been a year in the making and in my eyes is long overdue. The reason its taking so long is because I had completely upgraded all the mechanicals in my home and I wanted to use everything and see how it all worked before I gave my review. I purchased my house on May 28th 2021 and we knew the work that needed to be done, we just didn’t know just how bad it really was. It all started when we called MassSaves to get an energy efficiency report and all the freebees that came with it. Well, was I ever surprised when I heard just how bad it was.
First let me say thank you to Brian and his team Very professional and great guys that did amazing work. We came in under budget, and I say that because there were little extras that Brian didn’t charge us for. Brian could’ve started work as early as the first week of June but asked if the work can be postponed until after the hot season because we did have working AC and many people didn’t. If he had started the work at my house it would delay the work to those homes that didn’t have AC and I thought this was great idea. Brian assured me that if anything happened and we lost hot water or AC they had a plan in place should that happen. The true hero in all this making sure everything was done correctly on time and on budget, was Jim! I can’t thank him enough for all the hard work he put in, coming on a holiday because we thought we didn’t have hot water, we had turned off the return valve and forgot to turn it back on. Great quality of work, and they made sure they used only the best equipment. We are also using affordable Heat & Air to service all the equipment. Because we had purchased so much equipment we had quite a few rebates that needed to be submitted it was so easy, in fact we didn’t need to do anything, Brian took care of all that and got us back some big coin. I recommend Affordable heat & Air to everyone, It would be a mistake to use anyone else, it’s your biggest investment and you should have only the best working on it. Here is a list of some of the work that was done.

Removed:
Took out the old hot water heater (16 years old)
Removed the boiler (we have forced hot water on the second floor)
Removed the furnace/air-handler for the first floor
Removed furnace/air handler for second floor, that’s right the second floor had the option of hot water or forced hot air for the heat.
Removed exposed plumbing
Removed two AC condenser units. (35 years old and not efficient at all)
Installed:

IBC Tankless hot water heater
IBC Better Tank 40 gallon hot water storage tank
Rheem Hydronic air handling system (for the first floor)
Rheem Air handler (for the second floor)
LG mini split (we had a sun room that didn’t have heat or AC)
Two Rheem AC condenser units
5 Zones using 007E-F2 EMC high Efficiency circulator
All new copper tubing and fittings, they used the Pro-Press to install all of it and it loos amazing
Two Ecobee thermostats

I recently had a 43-year-old furnace replaced with a ductless minisplit system in my condo. I have a very old home and the entire HVAC system was out of date and incredibly inefficient. Bryan, Jimmy, Nate and their crew were able to install the minisplits and new condenser within a week. Their prices were competitive, everyone was incredibly professional, kind and reliable.They helped me navigate the confusing MassSave process, and even brought me space heaters when my furnace was not usable. My home has never been more comfortable. The house was spotless when they were finished, I even gained a new utility closet with the removal of the furnace. Tremendously grateful for Affordable Heat and Air, and cannot recommend highly enough.

Recently had Bryan, Jimmy, and their team complete an install of an A/C condenser, furnace, and new water heater. What stood out to me with hiring them over competitors was their honesty in making sure the job was going to be done in the proper way and not cutting corners. All of the equipment they installed also had 10 year manufacturer warranties. The work they did was very neat and tidy. Your home is an investment - don’t bother going with the “cheap guy.” Hire them and make sure the job is done right.

I called another company to come out and service my furnace they recommended a unit cleaning to help lower my c02 reading once that didn't work they wanted me to get a whole new furnace.. My furnace was only 1 1/2 yrs old, after I called Affordable heat and air and Brian was very helpful and understanding he sent Jimmy to come and take a look and saved me from buying a whole new system for nothing. I highly recommend using affordable heat and air, they are great at what they do and take pride in keeping customers happy. Thanks again for coming out and helping me ,look forward to doing business again with them in the future.

I would highly recommend MAC HVAC. We called just this morning and within a couple of hours Justin was here, worked non stop for a few hours, and fixed our condenser. He was kind, professional, and a joy to work with.

Today Kevin serviced my AC unit. Very pleasant young man. MAC HVAC does a great job. I highly recommend them.

Danilo did a great job diagnosing our issues with a very complicated system. He was persistent, thorough and knowledgeable and polite on top of it all. Would definitely recommend.

Our A/C was down during a heatwave, and these guys came out the same day, and got everything working in a snap. Good work and very professional. Highly recommended!

I would never hire Mack Antonoff again nor would I ever recommend him to anyone. We agreed on a specific mini split unit and he installed another brand. Look him up on better business bureau, he has done this to other people. He also keeps changing his business name.

Excellent company. Danilo who came and fixed our problems with AC was outstanding, super diligent, knowledgeable and polite. I highly recommend them for any work regarding your heating/cooling systems.

My heat was not working, Danilo from MAC HVAC came over, fixed d the unit and get it back to working again. Danilo explained what he did to the unit in detail so I would understand the work he did. Danilo did a great job and would call Mac HVAC again for any hvac service. Thank you!

MAC HVAC gets two thumbs way up from this guy!!!! They showed up when they said they would. Continued to show up every day until they were finished. They were extremely concerned about keeping our house clean and most importantly our new AC system work awesome!!!! Not a trace of anything was left behind, except our dog misses seeing the crew.

Danilo from MAC HVAC came over today. I had an upstairs AC unit stop 48 hours ago. Urgently, the day before, a friend came over with an AC person, and got the unit started, so when Danilo arrived, the emergency was over. He examined the affected unit and found the cause - mice had gnawed at wiring. He cleaned that out. He looked at the other functional unit and also found evidence of a mouse. He was honest, knowledgeable and I trusted him. His philosophy was "since it's still working after 22 years, why replace it." I liked that he wasn't trying to upsell me. He told me it was likely that it would go in the near future, but that would be the time to replace it. He examined the unit in the basement, and actually found a new small leak of the condensation pump, which wasn't there yesterday, and promptly fixed it. He went to the attic, and looked at the unit and said that some parts could be replaced and that since it was still working, no need to replace. Bottom line: trustworthy, knowledgeable, polite (wore booties when he walked into the house). I will have him service my units now until the time comes for replacement. I HIGHLY recommend Danilo and MAC HVAC. BTW, the service charge was a bargain at $99, given that he cleaned some things, fixed something, and informed me of current and future issues.
