Technician came to our house to look at the air conditioner and said that the relay was bad. Then they ghosted me for over two weeks. Would not return my phone calls, etc. I got another technician from a different company to come in, they looked at the system and it turned on! So I guess it wasn’t a relay after all the original technician wanted to charge me over $200. The technician that succeeded in making the system work charge me 100 bucks. I would not use this company again.

Thank you so much for your wonderful work on our house. We have an older house and I know this was a challenging job but you all were so thorough and explained your work so well, and with such passion and pride. Jose, Luis and Jimmy were a delight to have in the house and extremely professional. Bryan runs a well organized operation and is a great communicator. You all do very impressive work.

We've used Affordable Heat & Air for two large jobs (oil to gas conversion and new A/C) and Brian was always realistic with timing and was quick at scheduling. His guys are the best - respectful, professional and there on time. With these two very large and important jobs, it was great to have someone we could count on, not to mention the work itself was top notch! As a side note, we did the A/C job during COVID and everyone that stepped in our house was wearing a mask and very respectful of distancing, etc. We really appreciated that and felt very safe!

I converted my home from oil to natural gas this year and Bryan, Jimmy and Mike installed a new heating, hot water and cooling system. These guys did a fantastic job. There were a few hiccups with National Grid installing the meter and the meter bar at my house, and the guys at Affordable Heat and Air turned on a dime to get my system up and running once Natl Grid finally got the gas meter in. My dad initially recommended this company to me since he liked the job they did for him as well. I couldn't be happier with my new system

I met Bryan by chance. His company was working on a neighbor's AC system. One of my units went out two days prior. I had called another place I had used in the past, but they didn't get back to me. After seeing Bryan's company working next door, I called the number on the truck. He returned my call within 30 min and said he would stop over when he was done. He came by and had my AC up and running quickly on the same day I called. His price was VERY reasonable. Overall, I was impressed with the way Bryan ran his operation. Bryan and his team did a terrific job with our furnace, air conditioner, and mini-split installation job. He was highly knowledgeable and willing to both explain his reasoning and take in our input on how we wanted the job completed. His team was efficient, courteous, and had terrific customer service/follow-through.

Update: Our house has two heating systems and the decrepit water boiler just died last week on us. Bryan had his crew out that morning to assess the situation and determined the boiler was kaput. He offered a number of scenarios (fix/replace/upgrade) and we chose to upgrade to a more efficient boiler/on-demand water heater unit. Within a week, the job was done and it all looks fantastic-- they have an incredible attention to detail and set up piping/wiring/valves to make sure any future repair or maintenance work goes quickly and smoothly.

Bryan worked closely with us from start to finish on the installation of our new HVAC system (along with heat pump). When we first got in contact with him, he came to our home THE NEXT DAY and thoroughly explained the process of installation and answered all questions we had. When the job began, Bryan's team members were an absolute delight. They were on time, courteous, and never left a mess at the end of the day. When the job was completed, we ended up having an issue with our inspection because the access to our attic was too small (not something Affordable Heat and Air was responsible for as this was how we bought the house), Bryan arranged to have the access way expanded and completely covered the cost for us! This was something he absolutely did not have to do but we were extremely grateful for. He also personally followed up with me several times after the completion of the project to ensure we were happy with the system and that it was working properly for us. It is so hard to find great contractors in this day and age but we are so happy we found Affordable Heat and Air. A+++++++

We had Brian and his team replace two 20+ year old furnaces in 2021, and have been thrilled with the results. Brian installed a new two stage multi-zone system along with a mini-split, so our replacement also introduced central air through the house while lowering our overall annual costs for all seasons noticeably. Brian's deep knowledge of the MassSave program and guidance through the procedure made that process far easier to navigate. We highly recommend he and his team. They explain each step in the process and consistently delivered.

We've had Bryan and Jimmy do multiple heating and cooling installs for us over the past year, and I can't recommend them enough to anyone looking for installation or service. We had them do an oil to gas conversion, a ductless split install, as well as a ducted central air system. All of the work has been top notch and there is clear attention to detail in the quality of each installation we have had them do. All the jobs have been finished quickly and they stand behind their work.

We shopped around before settling with affordable heat & air. Bryan definitely won us over , he was honest answered all our questions and didn't pressure us one bit. He even helped with the mass save process. Bryan & Jimmy did an amazing job converting our oil tank to propane in the midst of a couple snow storms. They were quick , efficient and kind. They cleaned up after themselves which was nice. They communicated with us every step of the way and we're ever available to answer our questions on the weekends when they were off. Jimmy actually came out on a weekend and brought us portable heaters when we ran out of oil in the middle of the project which was above and beyond. The overall experience was above and beyond.We had we had full trust in them.They even added a new water filter which was a nice surprise:) overall experience was efficient , reliable, and affordable. Would definitely recommend & use for future jobs .

We had Affordable Heating and Air install our new system last year (HVAC and water heating), and it has been running great. After moving into our “new” house over the winter and seeing the very large oil bill, we wanted to get a more efficient system. Bryan was very professional as he inspected our previous setup and walked though several options to suit our requirements. The decision process was long, but Bryan was patient in discussions to make sure it was a good fit.

When we finally committed, his team was booked out for another four months. We locked in a price point and an estimated date of install. In the meantime, he walked us through the process of applying through Mass Saves programs to have things ready. He even purchased equipment ahead of time to help lock in my pricing while his suppliers were increasing prices.

The install took about a week, and during that time everyone was professional and courteous. The systems have been working flawlessly for the last year, which has been a great peace of mind for us.

They did a great job correcting an air return that was improperly installed that was causing a noxious odor in my living space. I’ve had at least five other companies look at this issue, and not one of them was able to even venture a guess as to the root cause of issue. Jimmy took the time to pull out all the stops and eventually call manufacturer support. After 5 years the problem is finally solved! At the same time I had them install an air purification and filtration system to alleviate some of my families allergy issues. Couldn’t be happier with the outcome and the extremely reasonable price.

I had a great experience with Affordable Heat & Air. They installed a new water heater for me, and the entire process was smooth and professional from start to finish. They were courteous, explained everything clearly, and left the area spotless when they finished.

Technician Jimmy was very helpful in explaining to me what parts of my furnace were exhibiting signs of wear and how dirty a a furnace filter can be before it should be changed.

The system they installed for us not only does a great job (warmth, cooling, hot water, etc) but.. it's just really nice looking. The placement of the system and the pipes and everything make it clear that effort was put into how it was layed out. It seems like a weird thing to say, but I really appreciate they effort they put into it, like they were doing it for their own homes.

Bryan and Jimmy installed my new "indirect" tank for domestic hot water (40 gallon capacity). They were very good about returning calls / texts and showing up at the work site at the agreed start time. Very friendly and professional. I was pleased with all aspects of the engagement. Five Stars!
