I was going through some leaking in our AC unit for a month now. I called up the other company and guy just filed with more refrigerant with little inspection. I called MAC today for leaking problem again and Danilo came by. Danilo did awesome work inspecting the entire unit and found the leak. Danilo also checked and fixed other minor stuffs. He really took care the job the best.

Called at 7 pm at night and got a call back within 20 minutes. They set up a time the next day for 7:15 am. Danilo arrived on time and was exceptionally professional, curteous, and well informative about our AC unit. Got it running and gave us some important tips regarding maintaining our system. Overall, a very good experience.

I found MAC HVAC from the Mitsubishi Diamond Preferred network while searching for a local company to provide a deep cleaning for a rental unit with 4 heads. The 2-man team was on time, respectful of keeping a "light footprint" in a rented unit during COVID, and leaving the place as clean or cleaner than they found it as part of their wrap up. I appreciated the fact they sought to understand my needs/requirements prior to scheduling the service, and showed up with the right people/equipment to get the job done, which was a very different experience I recently had with another provider in the area. I highly recommend MAC HVAC for Mitsubishi mini-split installs and maintenance, as well as their other areas of expertise!

We had them come and install a new ductless AC unit this past Monday and we are very pleased! Mark and his team were on time and made sure everything was working and running smoothly for us before they left. I highly recommend this company for any HVAC needs you have! You will not be disappointed!

My heater stopped overnight during a particularly cold winter night. I called MAC HVAC and had a tech respond within minutes of completing the phone call. Within four hours, Danilo the tech went above and beyond in cleaning my heater unit and sharing his findings with me. It turns out my unit was clogged with leaves from the fall and that the heater had shut off. Danilo showed me how to clean the unit to avoid safety shut offs in the future and thoroughly cleaned the unit. Can't recommend the service enough. Danilo also stressed the importance of CO monitors and urged me to purchase and install one.

I called MAC HVAC to see if I could get someone scheduled to come look at my central AC unit. It was working but with one zone, the upstairs was hotter than I like. There was a 4 or 5 degree difference so I thought maybe it needed a charge. They called me right back and their Technician Danilo was there within 90 minutes. Danilo thoroughly checked my system and thought that the biggest issue is that there is only one zone for two floors and it is a big house. Danilo called the office and Mark came out shortly thereafter. They looked at my ducting and determined we had separate trunks for each floor. We discussed options and Mark put together a plan to install some zone devices and install an additional thermostat upstairs. Great plan and very reasonable price! Installing later this week. Service was prompt, Danilo was fantastic and so was Mark. I will update later this week when the work is done.

We used MAC HVAC services twice - last summer to diagnose and repair our 14 years old AC system, and, recently, to replace it with the new one. Both times: quick response, very honest and professional service, reasonable prices. When it was time to replace our old AC, Mark provided detailed recommendations with different options and was very thorough explaining them and answering questions. I would highly recommend them!

MAC HVAC saved me!! My heat was not working and it was about 10degrees outside so I called MAC and Mark was very pleasant on the phone and was able to send Danilo to my house within a few hrs. Danilo was very professional. He showed up right on time (actually a few mins early) and was able to solve my problem and then some. He was very informative and knowledgeable. Danilo came to my condo to fix my AC that broke during a heat wave in July. He had to make two trips because of complications with my unit and parts needing to be ordered. Throughout the experience he was professional and extremely helpful. I had many questions and he took the time to explain everything to me. Because of the way my unit was setup it was a difficult process for him, but he maintained a pleasant manner the entire time. I live in a small condo so we were in the same room for several hours and at no point was it an uncomfortable experience. I would highly recommend MAC HVAC and Danilo specifically to anyone having issues with their HVAC at home.

MAC HVAC should be your first call when you have a problem with your heating and cooling. They are very responsive and show up when they say they will. We had an intermittent problem with our unit and I appreciate that they didn't jump to the most expensive repair option but rather followed a logical, structured approach to isolate the problem. Danilo is very courteous, knowledgeable, and determined to make sure you are 100% satisfied.

My Central air broke about 4 years ago. I hired a company to come out and diagnose the issue (not MAC). They came out and were here for about an hour and said “it could be a leak in the line or you may need a new unit”. They wanted to come back and charge me more to do a “full diagnosis” after I had already paid them to diagnose the issue. I didn’t bother having them come back because I felt like I was being ripped off so I never bothered to fix the AC. Fast forward 4 years and a hot summer, I decided to start looking for a new HVAC company. I asked for recommendations on a community page and started researching. MAC had the highest ratings so I went with them and I am so glad I did. Everyone was super nice, from the person answering the phones to the guys that came out to diagnose and the guys that came out to repair. Derek and Justyn spent almost 4 hours here to diagnose the issue and found the leak in the line, took pics of the leak to show me, and thoroughly explained what needed to be done and what my options were. I decided to have the repair done (it was time). Justin and Kevin did the repair and my AC is blasting cold air again! Long story short, I’m glad I found a new HVAC company that I can trust, highly recommended.

After calling a couple local contractors and getting no response I emailed Mark through his site and got a response within 24 hours and then he even came to my house on a Saturday to accommodate my schedule. We scheduled it and they showed up right on time, all great guys and very skilled and knowledgeable and they got it done in a day and half. Their work is side by side with another contractor from a couple years ago and MAC's work is so much cleaner and more professional. I highly recommend MAC HVAC.

This has been one of the best experiences we've had with home improvement contractors of any trade, ever, in MA and beyond. MAC HVAC installed three heat pump systems to our home 2021 and 2022. The crew was highly courteous and professional, and they were also very understanding on our concerns and sensitivities (e.g., COVID). All work was done exactly the way we had agreed on (or better), including our special requests regarding the routing of the refrigerant and power lines etc. We also had the privilege of working with the same crew 2021 and 2022 who were really professional and whose front man was super customer oriented, respectful, and knowledgeable. He kept us in the loop at all times (locations of the registers/vents, details about the routing of lines, etc.) and really listened to our opinions and requests. Most importantly, Mark (the owner) and his skillful crew figured out on how to install an optimal system to our cramped top floor with limited wall space and the result is really great. A feature we also really liked was that all change orders related to small extras that needed to be done (one condensate pump, additional controls, etc.) were really reasonably priced.

Mark was able to provide everything I wanted and how I wanted it. Quoted price was all inclusive, there was no guessing. Danilo, Justin and Derek were nothing but professional. Never left a mess, took the time to answer all of my questions. I'm very happy that I choose MAC for our replacement. I will use MAC for all of my service on this system. I highly recommend them to everyone that is in need of any HVAC work.
