Had a leak in a pipe in the ceiling of my family room. Call Burke Plumbing and they were there and had it fixed within the hour.

I would love to rate them higher than five stars. Due to a mistake I made, they drove out to the house twice without complaint. Excellent work. Fair pricing. Professional service. Couldn't ask for anything more!

They came over to check To see what was wrong with our heating system. We don’t use a known brand and we were told that they couldn’t find any information online regarding that brand, which is false. Because when I look up online I see the suppliers that provide parts for this certain type of brand. The suppliers need an HVAC person to call them to order the correct part, at the end of the day they speak the same language. And so when we tried to call them or text them, no one is picking up their phones. It is so frustrating. Of course they charge $150 per person per hour and the check we gave to them was cashed the same day. They do not lose any time in cashing the checks but they do not spend any time with you to answer their phones.

Very good service. Technician had all parts and supplies with him to complete the job in good time. Very satisfied.

We were very impressed with Burke plumbing and heating. The owner James was very honest and was prompt on helping us with our A.C. unit. Thank you for fixing the A.C and getting our family back to being cool on such a hot day. The review above doesn't even sound like the same owner we dealt with. Seem like a good guy made a schedule appointment for 10 AM. I get to my house at 9:55 to see a business card stuck in my front door. I called him wondering if you came to the house he said yes I said you didn’t call me to let me know you were here he said yeah I knocked and waited and left. Yeah well great attempt at trying to get in contact with me clearly doesnt want the business. First time trying him and the very last. Will update to home advisor as well so no one else has to deal with this type of business.

I had a furnace that was over 30 years old and wasn’t working. All he did was look inside my furnace with a flashlight for 5 minutes and charged me $225 to tell me I needed a new furnace and if I bought a $5,932.00 furnace with him he would include his diagnostic fee.
Scam artist, what did this ignorant businessman think, that I would spend $6,000 without shopping and doing research on furnaces and which ones are a good deal. I shopped and saved $2,000 and bought the new furnace I needed for $4k from an honest business.

Came and told me he tested the condenser and the unit was shot. Need a whole new unit. 5800.00 installed. Thank goodness I had another honest person take a look half hour later. Condenser is fine. Needed a capacitor. 200.00 Fixed in 15 minutes. This company is a sham. Not to mention looking to rip you off BIG time. Stay clear of these people.

My AC stopped working. They came in 2 days, very prompt. The guy (Jim the owner I believe) found out my door switch broke, and all he did was bypass the switch by tearing it off and twisting the wires together. He was very nice and knowledgeable, and his helper was nice too.

It was a bit (okay, very) pricy. There was a question of if it was safe to just bypass the switch, but he explained that the screws should be enough and there’s another switch on the side too, that it’s safe to do. So pretty satisfied with the work, $225 is just a tad pricy for 15 minutes of work. To his credit, he knew exactly where to go and what to check. He did check the Freon levels, he said they were fine. I suppose there must have been a peak-season surcharge or something. It is summer after all.

I will just comment that $225 seems to be popping up as a figure in at least on other review. That’s his fee basis I guess?

I just wish I’d checked these Google reviews before booking him. I used Angie’s List.

Company is a joke! Charged my wife $273 ($99 “introductory rate” + freon charge) for a half hour of work while I was away on business. Called them back as what they had “fixed” didn’t solve the problem. Now they’re saying to do the job correctly will cost $800-900 plus the cost of another freon charge. Dispatchers are abrasive as hell and service tech is defensive whilst offering nothing to remedy bad work. Steer clear!

I can't say enough good things about this company. Our AC system is over 20 years old and we had three companies come out and tell us it was not worth fixing. Jim was able to diagnose the issue and fix the problem.

Called the day after Christmas with a tub drain leak that was going through the downstairs ceiling. Someone came over right away to see the problem and returned the following morning with a second plumber. They fixed the problem in less than hour by installing a new overflow pipe. It was a huge relief with minimal damage incurred.
Highly recommend.

Burke plumbing and heating was very responsive in resolving my air conditioning problem. They were here promptly and resolved my issues to get my air conditioning back on line. The technicians were polite and s pleasure to deal with.

I had a Great Experience with Burke Plumbing & Heating. James Burke the owner did an unbelievable job with installing a new water heater all new plumbing associated with adding a new bathroom (saniflo pump and toilet) /laundry hook up and kitchen area for remodel and inlaw addition. I will recommend his services and will be happily hiring his company again to add a Handicap ADA walk-in shower to my first floor bathroom.

I am so lucky to have found Jim. My rented-out property developed a leak from a worn out drain in the upstairs bathtub that damaged the ceiling of the dining room below. Jim got there promptly and provided invaluable advice in obtaining a separate construction contractor (to repair the ceiling) and working with the insurer and adjuster to ensure that all parties were in agreement with the work that was needed and the costs that would be incurred. He was patient with the insurance company and then completed the work perfectly, timely, and safely so that the Tenant was able to remain in the residence at all times. Jim had to deal with various job difficulties such as one occasioned by the fact that the tub was about 60 years old and therefore its replacement necessitated installation of a different size tub (they don't make tubs in the old size anymore) and re-setting of pipes to enable the new tub to work. His work was so good that I later hired him for an unrelated plumbing job that arose.

When i realized my heat no longer worked, I googled plumbers in the area. 5 businesses and only 2 picked up! I pulled out my paperwork from the previous owners and Burke Plumbing & Heating was right on top of the paperwork. They had installed the Central Air in my condo. I called, someone was there who took my call!! And the owner Tim came out the next day. His crew showed up the following day to install my new unit! They were very professional and finished before I knew it! I couldn't be happier with the professional service! I'll call them again for the maintenance!!

Last year I Called these guys to fix a refrigerant leak in my ac unit outdoors. They came and Did the job but later that day, both mini splits were giving error codes. They said the main circuit board needed to be replaced. They came and tried to replace it but during the visit they said it was not the board but that the compressor is dead because it was filled when it was “bone dry”. (Why would your technicians do this?) At this point and time they quoted me $3300 to replace the compressor or $3100 to replace the entire outside unit. Didn’t have the cash so I waited til this year. Called a new company to look at it. They opened it up today and found my circuit board snapped with a half dozen wires cut. So my board that wasn’t broken is now useless and I have to replace it. Thanks Burke!
