Adriana altered both my dress and my mother’s dress for my sister’s wedding. My dress was in need of severe alterations. She did a fantastic job and it ended up fitting like a glove. We will be returning and I recommend her services to any and all!

I hesitate to share this review. The customer service and the kindness of the staff was great. However, against my better judgement I came here for alterations. The dress was for my sister’s wedding. The straps and the length had to be taking in. Adriana I believe is the seamstress. Again very nice. Tried it on length was fine, straps still big and there was a snag on the dress. Honestly don’t believe the straps were done initially. She said she would fix. Came back next day. Straps tight but at this point when I saw the snag. Just was like there is nothing that can be done. Woman at the desk blamed it on the zipper. Listen the zipper was the same when I dropped it off for initial alterations. And was told “ oh I did not touch the area where the snag was” Paid for alterations in full! Just be aware when you drop your bridal pieces in may not come back the way you dropped off. Should’ve followed instincts and never dropped the dress there. Just be alert especially for a wedding.. not going to say anything to the bride and hope to Jesus she does not see it ..But would be very cautious about alterations to Bridal gowns and dresses for weddings that you’re in.

Fabricare’s tailor did an amazing job with a lovely wool tartan blanket that had a rip in it. I was worried about a new blanket that had only been used once before it tore. The tailor mended it so well I can hardly tell where the rip was. Best of all, she did it within three days and for $30. I will be back!

Adriana is by far the best seamstress i’ve worked with! She’s helped me totally transform many vintage dresses and modernized them for unique special events! i’ve brought in many outfits we love that she’s outgrown and extended them or taken the fabric (one example is in picture) out or even added fabric so she can continue to wear them! She’s like the auntie or fairy god mother we all should have and or known! we just adore her!

No one does it like the Fabricare House, even after several decades!

My family had trusted them for years with all of their best garments. Expensive suits, the handmade dresses that my mother would do for weddings, my father's naval uniform, and it was always perfect. Fast forward 35 years, and I am now living 30 miles away. I recently picked up a rare vintage worsted suit that needed some TLC. I hadn't thought about cleaning, until a sudden passing of a close relative had me needing it in a pinch. I knew right where I was going with it and who to trust when I ended up needing As soon as I said vintage, they started asking all the right questions before I could even tell them what I needed, and never even ended up have to spell it, because I could just tell they knew exactly what they had and exactly the TLC it needed. They also got it done lightning quick! Now for a situation like mine, it is reasonable to expect they are going to charge a little extra for the expediting and the special care and products a garment like that needs, but honestly, it is worth every penny, for such perfect service!

I decided to wear my mother's gown to a wedding recently. The balck velvet gown was over 50 years old, designed by Br. Blackwell and made by hand. Adriana took the top apart and redesigned it for me. She also took in the gown as it was too big. Her ideas for how to change the top of the dress were wonderful and her skills are extraordinary. I've been to many tailors in the last 40 years and she is by far the best. She is not just skilled she is incredibly kind and extremely passionate about her craft.
