Mike responded to an emergency call from me within a few hours. He immediately fixed the problem. It was greatly appreciated.

If I could give my experience with this company 0 stars I totally would. I first called on a Tuesday (I’m not gonna say the date because judging by how he acted I’d be scared if he knew who I was) and I was told they would be at my house the next morning 7 am sharp to repair my water heater. He didn’t show up until late Friday afternoon and was super rude the entire time. Mike told me he was bothered by the fact that I called on Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning, I didn’t have hot water for 3 days!! He was super rude to the kid he had taken along with him for the job saying things like “please don’t say annoying things like that” and “I don’t care what you’re saying”. I will never use MGPH again and neither should you!

Most of the reviews already on here should’ve spoke to me when I used MGPH, I get it at the end of the day you have to make a day’s pay. But seriously the guy did barely an hour at my house to fix a faucet and charged me close to $500 for his service (keep in mind I live in Milton so it’s not like travel was that expensive). If I had known prior that I could’ve used any other plumber in the area for less money I would’ve. Completely ridiculous pricing, also get a better attitude you were extremely rude….

I was out of town, it was -10 degrees at home and my wife called to tell me the heat was out. I called Mike and he was on site within the hour to fix my Navien NBH boiler. Mike had the boiler fixed in 30 minutes. He is a certified Navien, Lochinvar, Viessmann and Burnham high efficiency technician who knows how to diagnose and fix the problem the first time out. I would recommend Mike 10 out of 10 times to service repair or install your high efficiency boiler or to service any plumbing issue at your house. He is one of the best.

Mike and his crew were extremely professional when they came to work at my home. MGPH installed a new heating system and water heater at my home. We also transferred from oil to gas systems— and Mike was very helpful guiding us through this process. Overall our systems work great and I would highly recommend MGPH to anyone.

I was in need of a professional plumber to fix my Navien Hybrid HVAC unit and Michael Grella from MGPH was a godsend. My Navien unit broke down on a Friday evening during frigid temperatures. Before I called Michael I had hired Boston Standard Plumbing & Heating. What a true nightmare. They were only able to send someone on Monday. Their technician gave me the wrong diagnostics, ordered and repaired parts that were in perfect condition/did not need repair, and were unable to fix the unit. They processed my payment and refused to give me any refund despite the fact I still had no heat or hot water. They simply wanted to charge me more for another diagnosis (plus another repair). That's when I decided to hire Michael Grella.

Michael on the other hand was very responsive over the phone, showed sympathy for the emergency I found myself in and was able to fix my Navien unit on the very same day I called him. Even though he had a tight schedule he was still able to fit me in. The error code on my unit was E.003. He knew exactly what that meant, already came in with the appropriate parts, and took care of the problem in one visit in less than one hour. I was very impressed by Michael's professionalism, expertise and attention to detail. I absolutely recommend MGPH for your plumbing and heating needs -- and beware of large companies with substandard/low-quality technicians such as Boston Standard.

MGPH is a quality plumbing company. I've used them at multiple residential properties and for a tankless water heater install at my primary residence. Mike and his team do a thorough and professional job every-time. I'd recommend Mike and his team 100 times out of 100. It's rare you find a plumbing company that takes such pride in the details. Mike does great work! He has done all of my plumbing over the last 6 years. Tenants all like how professional him and his guys are. He does all my annual services on my Navien systems and boilers. He does emergency no heat calls and water tanks. I always use Mike because he stands by his work and ALWAYS fixes the problem. I’ve had other plumbers make things worse and Mike always fixes it.

You are in good hands with Mike Grella. We had an issue with our water heater, Mike was very responsive, showed up on time and fixed the issue efficiently. He’s very knowledgable and professional. We have had plumbers in the past only make the situation worse, I will only be calling Mike moving forward.

We used MGPH to install a new heating system in our house in 2019, and then after we we moved, we again used Mike to install a new heating and HVAC system in 2022. He also led our project to remodel two bathrooms. Mike helped us think through the best way to complete the projects each time, and then executed flawlessly. He is a great communicator, the team did excellent work, and we could not be happier with the results in all cases. After the projects completion, Mike and team have continued to be very helpful when various questions or service is needed. Highly recommended for anything from service to larger scale projects.

Mike has been working on my rental properties for over three years. During this time I have never had a single complaint from a tenant. He arrives within the time window and always does top quality work. I started using Mike when three other plumbers could not figure out the issue with my boiler. He definitely knows his stuff. I'd ignore the negative reviews. If you're looking for a quality plumber that knows what he is doing then Mike is your guy.
