We've used them for years and today's experience just reinforced what a great, honest company this is.

Today they came to for a scheduled cleaning, brought all their equipment in, inspected, informed us we didn't need a cleaning we're all set and only charged us for the inspection. Saved us nearly $200! They could have easily done a quick clean or even just told us they had done it, as happened with another company, and we never would have known.

Would, and do, recommend to anyone needing chimney work.

American Chimney Sweeps are fabulous! They were faced with a complicated situation with our three fluid chimney. We had to have a chimney liner installed to bring our wood burning stove into compliance, as well as having the flues cleaned. They had to remove the original tiles ( house built in 1987, and the originalmason did a superb job ) lining the chimney before the liners could be installed. It required a lot of skill, patience and professionalism and they had it in spades.
I had used them before over the years and was always pleased with their work, this time I was able to see and realize how truly amazing the work they do is.

Had such a wonderful experience with the American Chimney Sweeps team. They did a rather expansive project on our chimney involving a full relining after shoddy work was done by the previous owners of our home. They were incredibly detailed and efficient. Nicole, Jay and the whole team were fabulous. Thank you for getting our chimneys ready, and most importantly safe, as we head into the cold season!

Great company, Jay came out inspected our chimney and wood stove he found a potentially serious problem. Nicole found the perfect wood stove replacement for us. They came out quickly installed the stove. Jay recommended an alternative placement and it looks great!! So pleased I called them.

Great experience w these folks. I was trying to get out in front of the cold weather so I ordered the stove in early September and it was here in a week. I had heard horror stories regarding stoves taking months to come in. Jay (the tech who installed the stove) was very knowledgeable, resurfaced the top of my chimney and did some small repairs. Gas stove went in quick, I have a 12' chimney so the liner was quick also. Just in time for this wet cold weather. we are now enjoying this luxurious fire place in a warm cozy room. family favorite now. Thanks again.

We had a great experience working with American Chimney on our gas fireplace installation. From the quoting process through to the installation, they were efficient and professional. Jay took the time to set us up with two installation options for our fireplace vent configuration, explaining pros and cons, and both he and Nicole were accessible throughout the process for any questions. After previously researching and speaking with a handful of other companies in the area, we are confident that we could not have found a better team to do the job. I needed a wood insert for an old home. I filled out their online form and got an email from Nicole. They proposed charging me $175 for an estimate to take measurements and look at the property. The estimate costed out the job at over $8K (not including the insert). This was more than double what I paid from HearthWorks who also bid on the job. American Chimney didn't offer any help in selecting a unit, and their only follow up was getting paid for the $175. Maybe they didn't want the job?

My husband and I purchased a 1600’s colonial home on the North shore with six fireplaces. It was really important to have the peace of mind knowing what condition everything was in. Not knowing anyone locally we basically had to count on what we found online and were impressed by what American Chimney Sweeps had to say. At times when it feels like you’re barely getting your moneys worth, it is nice to feel like we got even more than we paid for.
Jay is so knowledgeable and helpful. A wealth of information, particularly helpful regarding period homes. The chimney was repointed and squirrel ravaged flashing replaced. All flues inspected and cleaned for what we felt was a very reasonable cost. Topping it all off with a chimney cap which was the hardest part as we were a little concerned about the visual impact on an old home. They assured us that if we didn’t like it they would work with us to find a solution which was great. It turned out a simple standard cap is very subtle and dose’s detract at all.
The company also sells and installs fireplace inserts so we will definitely continue to do business with Jay and the team.

Nako has maintained my oil boiler for maybe 5 years-- I'm very happy with his services and response-- great guy, very helpful, always informative about what the problems are -- if any-- and possible alternatives to fix.

Mr. Nako was AMAZING !!! We were in a desperate bind! the oil was not working/turning on and none of the attempts by others had helped! It was 20 degrees temp and inside the house 40!!! My husband called his number and he came as promised within 45 minutes!!! He spent as much time as he needed, tried various things and ultimately FIXED the problem. We will NOT HESITATE to call him again for any future needs of our home! he was very professional and explained step by step what he did. THANK YOU Mr. Nako!!

I called on a whim thinking if I was lucky he'd be able to squeeze me into the schedule in a week or two, he asked if today would work as he had an opening. Prompt and an absolute genuine gentleman , he went above and beyond to make sure everything was done properly and cleaned correctly as well as the area he was in. It is no surprise why he gets the reviews that he does.

Many companies I have used to fix the heating system or other problems but I was not happy because they came with many hours of delay and the problem recurred after a few days. After I found Nako he for the first time found the mistake that others had made, and I saw that he was smart and had golden hands. Since then my family has remained satisfied with his quality work.
