I needed a foundation for a detached garage. Glenn, was a pleasure to deal with from the start. He was extremely responsive and kept me updated along the way. As a homeowner, I was not highly knowledgeable about foundations. He and his team answered my questions and I was very comfortable with what to expect. The completed foundation and floor came out awesome.

Glenn and his crew did an excellent, professional and timely job pouring a heavy duty (90,000 lb rated) equipment pad at my facility in Uxbridge, MA. Glenn and team were brought on to do a complete septic replacement after we purchased a house that failed Title V.

He got us a quote quickly, priced the job out reasonably and worked through several hurdles and a lot of rock to get our system completed. We very much appreciated his updates on scheduling and walking us through the system and how it should operate.

Barrows was quick to get me a quote actually the same day Glen was at my property. The work started promptly at 0700 on the day of the DEMO work and Glen also used a large dump truck for the debris removal eliminating the need for a big roll off unit. Barrows is also fully insured and has all the required credentials necessary to gain approval immediately from the building commissioner. The guys that did the actual work were very professional and respectful of all aspects of the job and the property. I can't forget to mention the price...blew all the others away! I will use Barrows again!

Got a new septic system and needed to redo the entire front yard and the driveway. Barrows Contracting was hired to do both and they are were so professional throughout the process. I don't get construction lingo so much but Glen would patiently explain everything to me. The required paperwork with the city hall was always updated by them, always so courteous and responsive to phone calls. They were the only hires who made the process of constructing the house smooth and painless. Highly recommended!

We are very pleased with the work Glenn and his team did on our driveway. They add rock and gravel to make a circular driveway into our barn to enable us to park in it. Glen and team did a great job removing our inground pool that had unfortunately failed. They were very efficient getting it all done and left our property in great shape to plant a nice lawn.

Barrows Contracting did an exceptional job on a complete replacement of our existing septic system. Glenn and his team were extremely professional and considerate throughout the process. They had a tight area to work in and they were able to take down a large tree and preserve a stone wall saving us time and money. They ran into ledge when installing the new larger tank. No problem, they were able to split the ledge and remove it the next day. The finished yard grading looks better than before the project started. They were on time and on budget, true to their estimate. This is a large ticket project and I would highly recommend Barrows Contracting for any septic repair or replacement needs. I like that they are a locally owned family business.

Glenn and team were excellent to work with. They were very flexible working around our schedule and the availability of the inspector. We hired Barrows to dig the foundation for a 16x32 addition with full basement off the back of an existing garage. They knew just what to do and worked quickly to get things done.
