Nick and Dylan we're professional and personable. They called me ahead of time to see if they could come earlier and it worked out well for me. They were very efficient and able to fix the issue in a relatively short period of time. Would highly recommend.

Replaced hot and cold water shut offs under the kitchen sink. Also added a shut off for the dishwasher. Joe was courteous and explained both the price and the work that needed to be done as well as different options.

Muir set the tone right away. He explained everything clearly, worked his Manual J magic (on an iPad, I think?), and always got back to me quickly over email when I had questions. They even helped me get set up with MassSave, which made the whole process smoother.

I used them to replace my old baseboard electric with mini splits throughout the house. Once I was ready, they had me scheduled within a week. Three-ish (not quite four) days later, boom, I had all new splits installed with a big honking condenser outside. Sean and Luke did the heavy lifting on the splits, while Veronica and (Dave?) handled the electrical side. Everyone kept me in the loop the whole time.

What really stood out was their customer service. Companies should be taking notes here:

Morning check-in: “Good morning, here’s the plan for today.”

Evening wrap-up: “Here’s what we finished, here’s what’s next, and here’s when to expect us tomorrow.”

It sounds simple, but it makes such a huge difference. Reliable, professional, and genuinely pleasant to work with. Highly recommend Pioneer Valley Environmental! ✨

Our experience with Pioneer Valley was 10/10 from the beginning. Setting the appointment was easy, we were able to get a tech out here the next day, got an update on who was coming and the exact arrival time, and Zak did an amazing job taking the time to properly diagnose and educate us on the issue with our hot water heater. Would definitely recommend to friend and family.

Update: we worked with Zak, Muir, Joe and Josh to get our new hot water heater installed. Everyone was wonderful and respectful on the property. Muir went above and beyond to work with us and get a suitable replacement as well as making sure we didn’t go cold during the storm. Will be using PVE for any and all future needs. PVE has done work for us in the past and I would continue to call them for every plumbing need we have going forward. Anthony and Dylan were professionals who came and assessed the problem (sump pump drainage issue) and gave us reasonable solutions. We ended up going with their full recommendation and they spent the whole day making sure we had everything we needed to avoid future issues. We couldn’t recommend them enough.

Nick and Dylan were very helpful. Communicated everything clearly and were both respectful and friendly. They worked quickly and helped to solve my plumbing issues. Definitely would recommend PVE. Best experience I have had with plumbers honestly.

We are grateful too that we purchased yearly extended service contracts for all three trade services PVE provides (HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing) -- those preferred customer service contracts have already paid for themselves in system inspections, work performed, and peace of mind knowing if there ever is a future problem, PVE can handle it for us quickly and efficiently.

A few weeks ago we finally called about the noise our furnace was making. We have used PVE before for maintenance and cleaning and had good experiences.

I got a text confirming the appointment, another with Hunter’s name and photo stating he was on the way, and one last one announcing his arrival. I especially like this service because I knew what he looked like ahead of time. And if the photo didn’t match the man, I would not have opened the door.

Hunter diagnosed the issue, discovered that there were no parts to be found for our 40 year old furnace, and he adjusted the blower as best he could to quiet it down until we figured everything out.

We paid a reasonable repair fee and priced out replacing not only our furnace but our central air as well. The repair fee was deducted and we got another discount by doing both together. A detailed estimate was provided, and within a week or so, they were here to do the work. The technicians were polite, very clean, and even put booties on whenever they came inside.

From the initial visit from Hunter, to the visit from the salesman that provided the estimate, Muir Lamontagne, to Hunter again with a team of techs that performed the install, everyone was professional, knowledgeable, and skilled. Their integrated use of technology seems to work flawlessly and made communication easy.

We try to keep our business local whenever possible, because we want to support the people who live and work here. Based on our experiences with PVE, we wholeheartedly recommend them for your HVAC needs. Seriously, we do.

Excellent help in diagnosing a weird plumbing problem. PVE fit me into the schedule quickly, and out technician Nick was really thorough, took his time figuring out what the issue was. From quote, to being updated with accurate time of our technicians’ arrival, to the work and finalizing the bill-Veronica & Jack were great. I had a decorative ceiling light and a kitchen island power strip installed. The light was a precarious install being on the stairway. I highly recommend.

Had a problem with my kitchen sink, a leak when I was running water. Called Pioneer Valley Environmental - excellent customer service and they got someone out here in short notice the day after a blizzard. From the day I called they got someone here within a few days. Nick (the plumber) got here right on time, which I appreciated, he was very courteous and friendly, did not try to overcharge me (had another issue I had him look at that would've been expensive to fix - he honestly told me I didn't need to have it fixed at this moment. He did a straight ahead replacement of my kitchen faucet and garbage disposal. Took him about an hour (I already had the replacement equipment for him to install). $867 for that job. This was my first experience with Pioneer Valley Environmental. Nick seems to have done good work on a straight ahead repair. Friendly kid. Would recommend!

Ryan from Heat Pro was able to help me out in a pinch! Got everything straightened out quickly and excellent communication throughout the job!

In addition to doing the annual system tune-up, Matt installed my new Nest thermostat and took the time to make sure it was communicating properly with the system. He answers all questions knowledgeably and thoroughly.

The employees at Heat Pro are great! They had our furnace serviced in no time ! If we could rate Heat Pro at a 20 + we would!

Heat pro was very professional and came exactly when they said they were going to. They came out the next day, broke down the issues of my furnace and then fixed it! Highly recommend and will use them in the future. They are fairly cheap too!!

Great local company, really came through as my boiler suddenly decided to stop working and they brought my yearly servicing appointment forward to the same day so I wasn't left without heating or hot water. Highly recommended

Rather than fully inspect our issue (tank gauge ) they pulled the ole “you need a new furnace “ routine. Save yourself being scammed and go elsewhere! Saved 5k in this instance!

Got my split unit installed by Heat Pro. They were knowledgeable and honest. Helped filing rebate paperwork for Mass saves and gave clear direction for warranty too. Had a leak issue same day after the install but they came back same day and took care of it.

Very good service! They even noticed something about the 2 zones in my house that I didn't know. And even another guy from another company annoyingly. But Heat Pro Inc was thorough and probably saved my pipes from freezing this winter!

We've used them for several years for service and maintenance. At our yearly service we were told the furnace needing replacing. It died Friday night, I called Saturday and they were here Monday morning as soon as their supplier opened and they were able to get a new furnace. They even offered temporary heating help. Awesome people.
