My heating conked out on a cold morning and Akian (who installed my furnace when it was replaced a few years ago) was able to arrange for someone to come super quickly (honestly I think it was within an hour, or close to it). Carlos showed up right when he said he would, quickly diagnosed my problem, fixed the malfunctioning part, and explained it all to me with my options - basically that the part may fail again so it may make sense to just replace it, or we could see if the fix was able to hold me over for now. I opted not to replace the part for now, but if my heat goes off again I'll understand the issue. I paid only for the service call. Carlos was personable and professional, and I'm very thankful to have my heat up and running again!

Akian came to look at a burst pipe on a Saturday (we were not existing customers) and were wonderful. Scheduling was very quick and easy, and George A. was prompt and extremely helpful in identifying and explaining the issue and making sure that we were well set up while parts were ordered. I was very appreciative of the quick and efficient service outside of business hours when I called out of the blue.

Akian Plumbing was fantastic. Communication was prompt and clear, payment was easy, and I really appreciated that everyone wore shoe covers indoor without being asked—seems to be their standard. We originally scheduled a tankless water heater service, but at George A.’s recommendation we decided to replace the unit instead. He walked us through several options at different price points, which was very helpful. Jimmy O. and Justin handled the installation and did an excellent job—efficient, clean, thorough, and very courteous. We did not do a quote comparison for the water heater installation but believed it may be within expected range for the area. We'd recommend the company and all three technicians.

We were happy with the plumbing work done by George A, replacing several shutoff valves, including the house main. He was helpful in explaining how we should coordinate with the water department.

Less than a week later, we had a second great experience with Akian.
We were very pleased with the bathroom plumbing work done by Chase D. and Jaelin M. They made every effort to first repair the old dripping shower/tub fixture, but found that was not possible and explained why. They were quickly able to pivot to a replacement, clearly explaining what options were available and how it would be accomplished by cutting a hole in the closet wall behind the tub. They took care to cut a neat hole and cleaned up the resulting dust. We also had the old bathroom sink faucet replaced. They encountered difficulties due to the age of these fixtures, but Chase and Jaelin were able to handle them with ease, replacing additional pipes when needed. They were happy to answer all of our questions as they worked. Thank you.

Antonio and Andres from Akian Plumbing, Cooling, Heating, and Electric provided exceptional service during the installation of two split units in my home. Their workmanship was excellent, and they were extremely considerate, informative, and professional throughout the entire process. They took the time to explain everything clearly and demonstrated an impressive level of knowledge and technical expertise.

Our furnace broke and I reached out to Akian for a quote and they came the next day. George M was super informative about the company, services they provided, and pricing which gave us confidence to move forward. Zach L and TJ came 2 days later to install a new furnace and were absolutely incredible. They needed to come back a week later to finish the job due to a drain issue and both times they came they were quick & efficient, respectful, informative, and very communicative. Zach L answered all of my questions thoroughly! It was nice having the same technicians come to finish the job since they knew the issue. I am genuinely impressed with the exceptional level of service I received from Akian. As a first-time condo owner in a newer building, I didn’t expect issues so soon—until I found a large crack at the base of one of my toilets.

When I contacted Akian to explain the issue, their dispatch promptly scheduled a consultation within a few days. George A. arrived on time during the appointment window and diagnosed the problem, explaining that the toilet needed replacement but might still be covered under warranty—something I hadn’t even considered.

After a week of back-and-forth with the manufacturer, I finally received an estimated delivery date set for the following week. I contacted Akian again, and their dispatch team promptly scheduled an appointment for the day after the delivery. George A. arrived right on time at 8:15 AM within the 8–11 AM window, with Nathan arriving shortly after to assist. Once the broken toilet was removed, George confirmed that the flange was still in good condition, saving me hundreds of dollars (again) in costs.

I appreciate the consistent communication and follow-up from dispatch, George’s honest and expert advice, and the fair pricing throughout the process. As a homeowner, I anticipate future plumbing and heating needs and Akian will be my first choice.

The Akian team agreed to help me diagnose and fix my 2 unit HVAC system, we purchased our home newly renovated in 2024, and experienced recurrent problems with the HVAC system that the original installer said he could fix, but after 1.5 years of intermittently coming by to attempt a new 'fix' he stopped responding. It was very difficult to find another company to help me with our system as it was still under warranty and installed by someone else, but Akian agreed and Matt diagnosed the main problem almost immediately as he could tell by the sound that there was water in the inducer motor. Antonio came next to do a more thorough analysis and identified what was installed improperly and some incorrect wiring, they were able to adjust the installation and fix all of the problems I was experiencing, and now the system is finally running perfectly with no issues. Very glad to have found them and have Antonio and the rest of the team available to maintain our systems and repair any issues in the future, Antonio clearly has a wealth of experience and really knows what he's doing.

I would give this Akian plumbing and heating company minus 5 star if I could. They replaced our air conditioning unit and a humidifier on our existing hvac system. I am pretty the humidifier is totally not necessary.as it only rusted the duct work. But I was not knowledgeable enough at that time. They turned our furnace around to accommodate another type of filter which is again not necessary. Because of this turn around, they set up new air intake and exhaust pipe on the furnace. Shockingly, they used pvc type 1 which is used for plumbing and not designed to withstand high temperatures for exhaust on the furnace. Even worse, instead vent the exhaust into chimney, they vented on the wall 3 feet above ground and only 2 feet away from fresh air intake. I called the company and they sent a technician who insisted that the setup is up to code. After $11533 dollars we have paid to Akian , now we have a house unsafe to live and uninsurable. I am looking to a legal solution now.

I had an old furnace ready to break. Matt B came over and discussed the situation with me and answered all of my questions. He a lot of time to make sure I understood all the options I had. I decided the best option would be to replace the furnace. It had already broke down unexpectedly in the cold prior to the most recent 2 foot snow storm and I am supposed to leave for a ski trip in 2 days during another artic blast and possible snow storm. Matt was able to schedule delivery and installation for the next day. Andres and Greg came over in crappy roads and installed my furnace in one day. I am so thankful for the help cooperation between everyone to help out stay warm and avoid frozen pipes. Highly recommend!

Exceptional Water Heater Replacement by Manny & Mike

I recently had my water heater replaced, and Manny and Mike did an outstanding job. Manny handled the project with professionalism and clear communication, explaining every step of the process. Mike was incredibly helpful throughout the installation, working efficiently and making sure everything was done right.

Together, they delivered excellent workmanship—clean, organized, and thorough. Before leaving, they made sure the system was working perfectly and took the time to answer all my questions.

We used AirCo for a pump system for heating and cooling back in late 2023 when we moved into our home. While we found Joe helpful with many things, we had issues with the system pretty quickly. A central system was installed upstairs with a Daikin one thermostat. In heat mode the thermostat never heats at the temperature set, it always overshoots by at least 5 degrees in some cases up to 10 degrees. This is really inconvenient. They never had answers or solutions for this and had attitudes when we tried to get them to come back and repair the issue. We finally gave up asking and the 1 year warranty expired. The AC works well enough, though also doesn't have an accurate temperature read, and we use it sparingly. Overall we were left unsatisfied customers which was a shame because we did a lot of research, were excited about the installation, and using the company.

Airco Home Comfort Services was great to work with. They were on time, professional, and really knew what they were doing. They made the whole process smooth, answered my questions clearly, and did quality work. You can tell they care about their customers and take pride in what they do.
