My AC was broken and I called Alpha the same day and they came out within a few hours and were able to fix the problem very quickly. Very kind people. Highly recommend Alpha!!

Very unprofessional, our AC has an issue which they claimed they "fixed" and costs us $700, then after 2 weeks our AC stopped working again, the mechanic said he "didn't find another leaking" so they want to charge us $700 again, then after 3 days, our AC has an explosion while we are using it!! Very Terrible!!!

From November 18, 2019 to December 16, 2019, because the air conditioner did not heat up, the company’s three inspections cost a total of $590. In fact, the three repairs are less than a month. He should no longer charge, but they are the first Charges will continue for both the second and the third time

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! HORRIBLE!! After making us wait for 3+ hours after the second booking, they sat in there car for 20 minutes, the passenger was asleep and the driver was texting away. Finally after knocking, I was told they don't work in the rain. Very frustrating to deal with, and customer service SUCKS too. It wasn't like the rain just arrived, it was talked about that for days leading up to the storm. STILL cant figure out how they serviced the house before ours, since it was raining.

The only bright spot out of it was, I found FOTIS HVAC in Belmont. That company is great. Highly recommended. ( I don't work for Fotis).

My wife was alone with my kids with no heating a few days away from Christmas eve and Alpha Mechanical was the only company that took my call. They were already off for the day but after hearing the problem they sent 2 technicians right away. Give them a call if you want someone who cares

They did HVAC maintenance and signed off on it. One month later AC drainage pipe was blocked. Paid them to repair it. Cancelled 2*twice yearly maintenance.

Gave me the run around to get my fee paid back, which I stupidly paid up front (I still do not have it). Also, unless you phone with basically the intent to hand over money, the staff are surly and uninterested.

My furnace is still leaking. Technician wanted money the same day. I was told companies have a 30 day warranty and usually bill customer.

Secretary was very rude and disrespectful. Wanted to send the technician back but wanted more money to fix the still existing problem. We declined further work.

Never use this company because they are very unprofessional. A nightmare.

Several days ago when it was 90 degrees outside my A/C stopped working. I called Alpha Mechanical. The next day a mechanic arrived. He figured out the problem and spent about 4 hours fixing it, which was way past his work shift. The A/C is now working perfectly. I appreciate the quick response, the thoroughness and professionalism, and a fair price for service. I would recommend Alpha Mechanical to everyone.

If it were possible to give Alpha Mechanical zero stars, I would not hesitate. My recent experience with this company, particularly with the owner Adriana, has been utterly disappointing and frustrating.

Three weeks ago, I contacted Alpha Mechanical to have my A/C checked due to warm air blowing out. From the outset, dealing with Adriana was a nightmare. She dismissed my concerns, claiming the air was warm because the outside temperature was too cold. Her absurd explanation continued with assertions that no one in Massachusetts used A/C, including herself. Despite my persistence, she refused to acknowledge the issue and instead insisted on her erroneous beliefs.

After weeks of unbearable heat and humidity, I reluctantly called again, hoping for a resolution. Unfortunately, Adriana’s attitude remained unchanged. She repeated the same illogical excuses, even misrepresenting the outdoor temperature. Her lack of professionalism, rudeness, and indifference to customer satisfaction were glaringly evident.

Adriana’s incompetence extended to her inaccurate assessment of the situation and her disregard for customer concerns. It was only after persistent insistence that the repair crew was finally sent. To their credit, they performed excellently and treated me with the respect I deserved.

However, one positive interaction does not compensate for the overall dismal experience. I cannot in good conscience recommend Alpha Mechanical to anyone. Adriana’s unprofessional behavior and lack of knowledge make her unfit to handle customer inquiries. Potential customers beware: don’t be deceived by any positive reviews, as I suspect they are fabricated by the company itself.

In conclusion, my encounter with Alpha Mechanical was a lesson in poor customer service and unprofessionalism. Save yourself the trouble and consider an A/C company that genuinely cares about its customers.

on May 16, 2024 looked for their web site because I wanted to recommend them to a friend and was horrified about some of the criticisms of Sean, the owner, and Adriana, his wife. I used Alpha Mechanical to install a new air conditioning and heating system in my condo. Sean was very patient at educating me about the options. I signed a contract in May 2022. It was difficult to get the equipment as it was during the pandemic but I ordered everything to have it on hand in case my AC failed during the summer. Fortunately it lasted and I was able to replace the entire AC and heating system in September, a year and a half ago. It has worked flawlessly and when we had a problem, caused by my husband, they came and rectified the situation. They are a small operation so it is not always possible to get them to turn on a dime but so far, so good, and I have nothing but great recommendations for Alpha Mechanical.
