JV is great! They came right down and resolved our hot water issue while explaining the issue in a way I could understand. They are the ones to call!

Excellent service from start to finish. Victor gave us a quote on 3 different HVAC systems (heat pump/ air handler). Installation went smoothly and we are very happy with our new system which we can monitor remotely when we are out of state. Job well done.

I called JV Mechanical over the weekend with an emergency plumbing issue which occurred right before a kid's birthday party. Vic arrived shortly after I called and was kind, courteous and professional. The issue ended up being minor and he fixed it free of charge! While here I asked him about a few other issues I have been having and he was able to explain the problems to me and offer solutions - and I will be using JV Mechanical for the work. Can't recommend them enough!

Highly recommend this place as I called for service and they were at the house the next day for a leak in a pipe came fixed it fast very efficient cleaned up after themselves. Highly recommended.

Our technicians, Kyle and Noah were polite and thorough. Kyle originally diagnosed the issue with our minisplit system and was able to identify what was needed to correct the problem. After the parts were ordered, Kyle and Noah both arrived on time, efficient, friendly and got the job done. Working with Collette in customer service was also great. She new what I needed and always followed through. We would absolutely use this company again and highly recommend them to others.

JV Mechanical (Victor) is one of the most honest people I have ever met, he came over to deal with a hot water heater issue and we talked about the unit I already have running, and Victor convinced me to keep using it which saved me thousands of dollars. So yes, I would use them again especially Victor who will help you out and give you his honest opinion.

Updated review (4 stars): almost a year after having been a regular client (tbh, there are very few other companies in the area able to provide the services they provide so I did end up going back to them), JVMC have always addressed our needs in a reasonable and timely manner, sometimes quicker than other times, but efficiently overall. I have to say they’re very responsive and usually appointments are given for just a few days after you call them if not the next day. They also have been accommodating and flexible when it comes to making payments.

Original review (2 stars): My family woke up Wednesday before Thanksgiving, with no heating.
We phoned JV Mechanical Contractors Inc., who had serviced our oil tank just a week before, they came and did the re-check that same afternoon, and concluded the gauge was damaged and the tank was, in fact, totally empty. They failed to spot the faulty gauge on their first visit and that mistake left us in the position of having to call oil companies near where we live (South Worcester), even those in Boston, but absolutely every single one of the 13 companies we contacted said we had to wait until past the long holiday weekend (five days til Monday) to get oil delivered, except for one.
Although JV Mechanical Contractors Inc. did offer a discount from the total on the bill, I am not sure I'd like them to service our oil tank again. That is precisely the point of regular maintainance: to detect failure before events happen, to prevent incidents.
I know the company is reputable and many customers have great things to say of their service. We are all human and make mistakes. Maybe we were unlucky with that one technician who didn't spot the damaged gauge?
One star for scheduling the visit on the same day and another star for the discount.

I had a great experience with JV Mechanical. Had some issues with the humidifier that is attached to my HVAC system. Jake was very polite and knowledgeable. He explained what was causing the issues and what needed to be done to fix it. Also want to say each time I spoke to Nisa she was very nice and professional. Highly recommend JV Mechanical.

I had my pipes freeze this winter, and I called them. They were prompt, efficient, professional, and helpful. In addition, they put in my friend's new boiler, and they said the same. If you are looking for people who show up on time and have the best customer care, then JV Mechanical is the smart choice.

I was referred to JV Mechanical by a friend. I now owe him a beer. The crew from JV couldn't be better from top to bottom, including their specialty sub-contractors. Professional, knowledgeable, patient, responsive, honest, and friendly. It was also nice to see younger crew members being mentored in their trade by the experienced hands. I'm sure you can find other good companies out there, but you won't find a better one than this.

The entire process working with JV Mechanical was terrific. The install was not at all disruptive, the crew was great. Cleaned up afterwards, put things back that were moved, were polite, (no F bombs), took care not to let the cat out. Now that the hot weather is coming, we are happy to be cool and comfortable inside.
