I worked with JV Mechanical to replace my old gas forced hot water boiler and tank with a combination on-demand system. Vic and his whole team were thorough, professional, and well-versed in the MassSaves energy rebate program. Their price was competitive and they made sure all of my (many!) questions were patiently answered. I'd definitely hire them again.

This is the second time we’ve used JV Mechanical Contractors, and once again, they delivered outstanding service. Shawn and assistant (sorry I didn’t get name) came out promptly to address an issue with our oil-fired boiler. They quickly diagnosed and resolved the problem that day. Both were professional, efficient, and thorough, leaving us with a warm and comfortable home.

We previously called them for a different issue, and their consistent quality has earned our trust. We plan to schedule annual maintenance with them moving forward. Highly recommend JV Mechanical Contractors, Shawn, and their team for reliable boiler services!

They installed a new AC system and a humidifier The humidifier has given us some problems but the technician, Derek has been very responsive and helpful.

Having had an existing Mitsubishi system on the 1st floor which we've used for years that provides both heat and AC we decided to go with what we know works for us and made the decision to install similar units for our 3 bedrooms on the 2nd floor. I used the Mitsubishi's web site to find local Mitsubishi Diamond Certified companies to get several quotes. JV Mechanical quote was competitive but what sold us on them is their technical sales person and office staff that were knowledgeable, professional, pleasant, and very helpful. What really blew me away was how fast and efficient the installation crews were. They showed up around 7:30am and were completely finished around 2:30 the same day. They carefully moved and protected our personal items where they needed access to and covered things near the working areas. They worked with us on just where the units were to be installed in each room. Once the installations were completed they vacuumed each room and pathways. Then the lead tech went over the remote controls for each unit. We couldn't be happier with the great service JV Mechanical Contractors provided us and the results from the Mitsubishi products.

Technicians were on time and changed out the motor in the blower heater element in the kitchen under the sink. Also had the kitchen faucet replaced. We have used JV Mechanical for two mini split installations and whole house water filter. The technicians are professionals.

I met with Nekelle this morning and she was very friendly and polite. She provided a very detailed overview of heat pumps and installation options that would work best for us. She answered all my questions in a very patient and informative manner. I felt at ease with her and did not experience any "pressure" sales tactics. She concluded her visit with a promise that a quote would be provided today and I did receive it as promised!!

JV Mechanical recently installed new Mitsubishi Mini Split. The techs were very courteous and professional. Kyle was very informative and walked us through all the workings of the app and thermostat. The system works great and we are very happy with the experience of working with JV Mechanical!!

I have had a bit of a nightmare with my AC situation and needed some help quickly and affordably. Those two things don't typically go together with HVAC problems in early summer! I reached out ot JV Mech after reading lots of reviews of different companies and was impressed from the beginning. They were thorough, empathetic to my situation, and worked alongside me for the best solution, which ultimately was a new set of heat pumps for the house. They set me up with Mass Save so I'd get rebates and qualify for 0% interest financing, answer all of my silly questions trying to navigate the office (the ladies in the office are just as great as the techs!) and managed to get me all taken care of before summer has ended. To say I'm impressed is an understatement. They did this all in one day! I don't know how they managed it but there were a million trucks here and it was one and done. They cleaned up well, explained everyhing to me, and even got back to me way after hours when I sent an email with some questions to aleviate some worries I had. The responsiveness is not something I'm used to when dealing with companies like this and it's nice to know I'm covered whenever something comes up in the future. They'll be my "go to" for all my HVAC needs going forward and I'm so happy to have found an honest, caring, local company. Highly recommend!

This most recent work, was a huge help; replacing an old electric water heater, with a propane instant hot water heater for my radiant heat floors. The team showed up on-time, left the area clean and followed up immediately to any questions that I had.

This was my 2nd experience with JV Mechanical. 1st time was a mini split install that went very well and this time a new boiler install. I'm very happy with the completed work. Shawn and his assistants did an amazing job from beginning to end.

I had several contractors provide quotes for my project. By far JV Mechanical was the only contractor that listened to my needs and presented a system accordingly. From start to finish their team was professional and courteous. Their install crew was fantastic and keep me apprised of their steps throughout the entire install process. JV Mechanical are the most reliable, experienced, and trustworthy HVAC company that I have worked with. They were able to schedule with me pretty quickly to help assess an issue with my rental property and kept me updated on next steps. Not only are the HVAC workers helpful, but they have the nicest staff that answered my questions when I called. I will be using them for any future HVAC issues that I have.

We moved into this area two years ago, and our builder (who built and sold our house) recommended JV Mechanic. Last year, we had an issue with our heater, and they responded quickly to fix it. We are new to propane gas and didn't really know how the system worked. They also advised us to schedule annual maintenance to maintain our system warranty.

This year, before winter began, we called them again for routine maintenance—even though our system was working perfectly fine. They performed the maintenance, told us everything was in good condition, and charged about $500.

However, just a few weeks later, on the first cold day of the season, and us turning on our heater for the first time in winter our heater failed to turn on. The technician came out again, diagnosed a faulty switch, said it was covered under warranty—and still handed us another $250 bill.

At this point, I’m starting to regret having paid $500 for “preventive maintenance,” only to face another $250 repair right afterward.
