I am extremely grateful to all the workers who have worked on mitigating the mold in my basement after a sewer leak.
They were all very prompt and professional. They also did a fantastic job removing all the effected areas. I had water damage in two bathrooms. Bill and the MA Restoration team (remediation and construction) worked to reconstruction both bathrooms under demanding and stressful conditions. There were a number of project stops and starts that were beyond the team's control, but handled very well. Communication with Bill was top level. Great workmanship. Highly recommended.

From the beginning, working with Israel Perez on the the remediation, Chris Hurbert on the estimating and dealing with the insurance company and Michael Haffty on the project management side who kept me informed throughout the final restoration. It's been a pleasure working with them.

Great experience with M.A. Restoration so far. Tim and Joe arrived promptly to survey the damage. Joe then returned with Matt a few days later and started the mitigation process. Manny stopped in daily to check progress and had everything dried out in just a few days.

Restoration has yet to begin, but I’m confident it will be handled just as professionally as the mitigation stage was.

I was surprised when Steve from M.A. Restoration reached out to inform me that our restoration phase would begin almost three weeks earlier than expected. But what really left me speechless was having all work — the insulation, drywall, painting AND carpeting — completed in less than a week.

It’s clear that M.A. Restoration manages their projects effectively, but what’s most impressive is the quality of work they produce. The subcontractors who were chosen to work on our house were friendly, efficient, and very professional. It honestly felt like having friends over to help with a home improvement project!

We had a severe water leak in our home — a massive, devastating disaster. The MA Restoration team came to help us right away. At first, we only hoped our home could be somewhat fixed and livable again, but they went far beyond our expectations.

We first met Brian, who worked with our insurance company and planned everything out for us. We didn’t have to do anything. During the first stage, the team dried the house, removed wet drywall, flooring, carpets, and tiles, and moved our belongings to dry areas. Books and toys were carefully packed in new boxes. At the end of each day, they cleaned up as much as possible, laid down construction paper so we could walk safely, and kept the house as livable as it could be.

In the second stage, the focus turned to rebuilding. Bill, the project manager, kept us constantly updated by text with status and next steps. Talking with him was always a pleasure—he’s not only professional but also genuinely kind. We could tell he always had one goal in mind: restoring our home to the best possible condition. Bill even took care of many extra requests outside his scope, always with a cheerful “No problem, I’ll take care of it.” We especially love the white grout he chose for our tile floor—it was a perfect choice.

Dustin managed all the woodwork, cabinets, floors, windows, and doors. He even designed our new basement kitchen, which looks wonderful. Despite the hot July/August days, he worked incredibly hard, and his craftsmanship was beautiful and precise. We love the new sill under our sliding door, the window trim he made, and the careful padding pieces he added between tile and hardwood floors.

The contractors MA Restoration brought in were reliable as well. The painters did a flawless job — our walls, doors, and window frames look perfect. The head of the painting crew even went beyond his duties by installing door stoppers and helping with our uneven wall when countertop installers ran into an issue.

It was also a joy to see James again — the very first person who came to help after the disaster. He later returned to handle plumbing, including installing the dishwasher and reconnecting all our appliances. We had been worried about the refrigerator water line, but he fixed it with ease.

To the entire MA Restoration team — thank you. You not only repaired our house but also restored our peace and happiness at home.

After a water damage event occurred in our basement in early November we needed help with the cleanup. Our Insurance adjuster mentioned some national brands for mitigation or going straight to a contractor for mitigation and repair. We are so glad we found MA Restoration. Tim and the team have done a great job. They completed mitigation of the damage: performed a full survey of the entire basement with a high tech scanner, Conner and team took care moving all our stuff out of the affected areas, they put up containment barriers with zipper entries protecting our belongings and other parts of our home, they set up industrial size dehumidifiers and HEPA air purifiers in the affected rooms, finally they carefully removed all the impacted drywall, baseboards, and flooring. After removing flooring in one of the rooms they found another older floor below. Based on the look of the old floor they setup asbestos testing and confirmed asbestos adhesive below the floor. We are now scheduled for asbestos mitigation as well. Overall I highly recommend MA Restoration. I appreciate that they communicate next steps (especially when unexpected happens). They communicate when they will be here next, and we receive a heads up call when they are on their way with estimated arrival time.

MA Restoration did a fabulous job putting my house back together after a pipe broke in the ceiling. Steve, Raffi, John and Denis were great to work with. They were very knowledgeable and skilled carpentry professionals. The crew and subcontractors were always pleasant and respectful. I highly recommend MA Restoration.

We can’t say enough about MA Restoration! We had a flood in our upstairs bathroom which extended all the way down to the basement. My husband called - they came out the next day and mitigation work began almost immediately. They had fans up and running throughout which definitely minimized further damage. Andrew jumped right in to help communicate with insurance and handled most of this piece. We have 3 kids & a dog, including a 4 week old baby when this happened, and the MA restoration team made it a painless process for a very overwhelming situation. Tim and his team were easy to communicate with, kept us updated on progress, and were respectful of our family needs/schedule. They were incredibly thorough and many people, including our insurance assessor, said that they’ve never seen this level of work and quality. Repair work started earlier than anticipated which was great! Steve and his team were wonderful to work with as well. They uncovered some surprises but handled with professionalism and support, quickly pulling in the right people. He was proactive and thoughtful about how all of this work was scheduled. We needed a lot of electrical fixes, new drywall, new flooring, and painting throughout. The work came out beautiful and we love it! Thank you. They take pride in their work and we highly recommend.

In March of 2022, my wife and I purchased our very first home. One month later, it was on fire and needed to be gutted and demolished. We were devastated. While I navigated our insurance, the fire investigation, and public adjusters reaching out to us, she began to look around for anyone in the area who could help with fire damage and restoration. She found MA Restoration, and immediately we were in good hands.

Brian went to bat for us with our insurance and negotiated as much money as possible every step of the demolition and restoration. Meanwhile, Steve and his team of contractors did a fabulous job restoring the house—not just back to it’s natural 120+ year New England charm, but rebuilt better and more efficient than ever with straighter lines and more space everywhere it was possible. He hand-built the stairs himself, came in many off days to tackle anything he could, and was willing to tackle any concern big or small to the very end. He was even patient and diligent with multiple change orders, including some necessary architectural updates to add an extra room over an awkward previous addition. The entire rebuild, Brian and Steve were communicative, thoughtful, capable, and hard working.

This wasn’t just a single basement that flooded—they essentially had to rebuild an entire house to a combination of old and new specs. It took 2 years—MA Restoration fought for every advantage they could get us, and that necessarily stretched the timeline out a bit—but the job they did was extraordinary and has allowed my wife and I to move back into our stunning home with all of the hope in our hearts we originally had when we bought it 2 years ago. I will forever be grateful to Brian and Steve (and Dustin, and their preferred architect John, and the rest of their team) for giving my wife and I are home again.

We feel so lucky to have found MA Restoration. As new home owners, discovering a burst water pipe was a very stressful experience. The initial contractors we reached out to insisted we had to tear down multiple walls and ceilings to address the water loss (without even a project manager evaluating the damage on site). We decided to make the switch to MA restoration and could not feel more relieved or better cared for. From the office administrators, to Tim our project manager, to Thomas, Matt, and Justin (the crew)…we have felt entirely supported throughout this process. MA Restoration systematically installed fans and dehumidifiers a few days ago that have made a significant difference in drying out our home. They were attentive to the funky wiring of our home and managed to install all of the required equipment without tripping our breakers. They also sealed off the affected rooms with zippered plastic doors in order maximize the impact of the equipment. They have been tracking the size of moisture with stickers and either Tim or a crew member has come out each day to assess progress. Although we are mid process still, the likelihood that we will have to open walls is low and/or minimal at this point. We can’t overstate our gratitude.

Tim responded to our emergency call with his team and right away started working on a dishwasher leak that damaged our wooden floor and garage ceiling.Although the restoration work hasn’t started yet we’re highly impressed so far with the professionalism that they do the job. We recently worked with MA Restoration after a sewage backup in our basement. MA Restoration completed the clean up that same day- very quickly and efficiently, even disposing of a couch that had been ruined by the backup. We also hired MA Restoration to rebuild our baseboards and paint the affected area- the project manager Steve was extremely helpful in getting the job done ahead of schedule. I would highly recommend this company as all of the employees seamlessly communicated with us every step of the way and our basement looks as good as new!

I highly recommend this company. We met with Joe during our home assessment and he was very knowledgable, courteous, and friendly. Having kids of his own, he could easily relate to our concerns when we found some mold in our daughters bedroom. He was very helpful in suggesting what we could do immediately to remove the mold as well as offered some long term solutions to help prevent it from returning. We lost everything in a fire and our first contractor bailed on us after the demolition process. We had to scramble to find someone else for the rebuild and luckily we found MA Restoration. The whole team at MA Restoration was professional, fast, kind and went above and beyond to get us back in our home as quickly as they could! Not to mention the work that they did was top quality! M.A. Restoration restored my home from water and structural damage, bathrooms, kitchen, floors and living area. As with any construction one could be anxious and uncertain for the outcome, but as work continued every effort and consideration was given to do the best job possible and to guide me with decisions that had to be made for paint, flooring, replacement of fixtures or appliance. The sheet vinyl floor is outstanding. The bathrooms beautifully functional. All back to normal. Steve, Brian, Rafi, John and all the workers worked hard. I highly recommend M.A. Restoration. After my water heater leaked and damaged my finished basement, I worked with DeWolfe Plumbing to remove and replace the heater. They recommended M.A. Restoration having worked with them before, which made the hand off between companies seamless. From there, M.A. restoration handled the estimates, insurance, repairs, materials, moving the furniture, installing the new flooring, and final inspection and appraisal. They also helped me save the original flooring that had to be removed so I could reuse it in another room. Since the stain we originally had was no longer available, replacing everything was the only option, and they made that part of the process easy.

Their communication, timing, and overall consistency were excellent. A huge bonus was having Steve as my Project Manager throughout the entire project who made everything even smoother. Once the work began, there were no delays or periods where the work stopped. They stayed focused and kept things moving every step of the way.

Everyone I worked with was friendly, careful, and respectful of my home. They turned a stressful situation into a manageable one, and I'm very happy with the results. Pictures to come!
