Very nice people, but they need better signage for delivery drivers. Got us unloaded quickly though, and again, very nice folks.

I have been using Thornapple River Nursery for almost 20 years at 3 different residence. They have great customer service, hard working staff and very reasonable pricing for both lawn care and snow removal.

I switched to Thornapple River Nursery several years ago, and my lawn has never looked better - even though I live in a heavily wooded area!

I wanted a few new trees and found a wonderful selection of healthy specimens with plenty of variety at Thornapple Nursery. The sales staff was very helpful. Prices were very fair. My yard now has a Dappled Willow, Eastern Redbud, and an Acrocona Pine. The two young men that installed them were friendly, knowledgeable, and hard working. They made sure the trees were straight, had plenty of dirt and water and applied a good layer of mulch.

We’ve used Thornapple River Nursery on two backyard projects now. The 1st was a double retaining wall near a pond. We had a severe drop from our home to the pond so Thornapple River Nursery surveyed, measured, designed, then installed a tremendous two wall system for soil retention and channeling water away from this area. Their design and attention to detail brought us back when we desired a fire pit area. Again, their design, attention to details, minimum disruption to the surrounding area and competitive price brought us back to them. We (obviously) are extremely happy with their products and workmanship!

Couldn't be happier with Thornapple River Nursery!!! I have been using them for over a year now for regular lawn service, mulch, and and fall clean up. Where do I start! Steve is the gentleman that comes out to my house and every time he is very professional and friendly and I genuinely enjoy him and his outstanding work. His pride shows in how awesome he keeps my yard looking and even says hello to my pups when there out! Their prices are very reasonable and I would highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for great service with genuine people! Putting my lawn mower on craigslist, thanks again Thornapple!

This is an edit to my previous review which is made after the company contacted me. I was quite frustrated regarding the charge for their attempt to turn on my sprinklers and the lack of response regarding my request for landscaping services. They were apologetic regarding the issues I had with their services and made a fair adjustment to the charges. However, they admitted they are short-handed, so if you want to use their services, get a firm estimate as to when the work will be done and the exact, current price. I appreciated their efforts to make things right.

I ran into a Thornapple River Nursery maintenance crew working near the Sturbridge neighborhood off Buttrick this past Tuesday, and was extremely impressed with the quality of their work and their professionalism. They were all very polite and helpful. You guys are great.

Thornapple Nursery has been mowing my lawn and plowing my driveway for 35 years. I love that they are a family business, now on their 3rd generation.

Family run business that always goes out of their way to get the job done right! I am disabled and can’t shovel my front walk in winter. They have done this for me for the last five years free of charge. They even unscrewed my hoses from the faucets outside when I can’t. They have done my yard work and snow removal for some years now. I appreciate all their kindness and good work. I highly recommend them!

The design they put together was perfect in every way for our condo. And now that it's installed, we are absolutely thrilled that we acted on the many recommendations we received from others in our community. Last, but far from least, was the professionalism of the installation crew.

We had such a great experience purchasing a tree from Thornapple River Nursery in honor of our daughters first birthday! The staff and owner are so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They answered all our questions and helped us pick the right tree, and then when we opted to pick it up and plant it ourselves (versus using their delivery and planting service), they helped us load the tree and secure it in our vehicle, gave advice for planting successfully, and more. This is a wonderful, family owned business! Our tree is doing great and we’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!

We were very happy with Thornapple Nursery. Their service was great, they answered our questions and gave us great ideas on what to plant. Scott did a great job! The planters were efficient , polite and cleaned up our yard area when they were finished, Thanks so much for everything.
