The whole team was great to work with. Always receptive to questions. The only thing I didn’t realize up front is the total time it would take to be up and running. I’m guessing they mentioned it but I didn’t key in.

We converted the entire television facility to solar courtesy of Chad Becker and his team at Tiger. It was a big job and they were there with us every step of the way. The follow up has been amazing. We're two years into it and not only have seen a massive reduction in our electric costs (some months as much as 85%), but when lightening struck the building Chad called to say they had noticed something in the systems output that they just wanted to double check. It seems everything is fine, but I was impressed by the dedication. Two years on and we haven't been forgotten. Good work Chad and Team!

Tiger Solar helped us get our orphaned generac system back on track. We had a blown fuse in our battery tower, roof damage, and some shoddy electrical work that they fixed (replaced the fuse for free!), as well as supplying us with more batteries. The process was smooth and expedient, especially compared to other solar companies we had tried to work with before. After the work was completed, they came by again free of charge to ensure everything was working as expected. Everyone we have interacted with, from sales to installers, has been kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. It is such a relief feeling that our solar system is finally in good hands.

Chad and his team are entirely customer focused. They were incredible to work with! Despite some challenges with the utility company on my installation they stuck with it and made it all come together beautifully. The guys installed my system late in 2019 and despite bad weather and sickness made it happen. Their production estimates in the last three months have been very accurate and my utility bills have come down just as expected. I would do business with Altenergy any day and would suggest the same to anyone else!

Update: Four years later and the system continues to work flawlessly. Production numbers are exactly where tiger solar said they would be. I can’t recommend Tiger Solar enough!

We had a great experience with the Chad and the team from Tiger Solar. My wife and I looked into multiple installers but the these guys were by far the most responsive and enthusiastic in addition to also providing a good quote without any pressure. They answered all the questions that we had and even ones from family and assorted neighbors who were curious about the process.

Our installation occurred ahead of schedule and I ended up paying the exact quote that I was given with no surprises.

I wanted to wait to give my review until after I got my first bill for a full month of solar. Our bill went from $212 in the month of April to $35 in May so we're very happy with the initial return on investment for our panels.

Chad, Kyle and the rest of the team were fantastic to work with. The process was smooth beginning to end. Chad helped me dig deeper into my actual usage data to reflect the nighttime charging of my EV in the payback calculation. The team was also attentive to obstacles I pointed out when trenching from the barn to the house. Lastly, after the install the data reported by the system wasn't correct. The team was patient and persistent in fixing it, coming back on-site a few times and never complaining. Overall, it is clear to me that getting their customers a quality product is important to Tiger Solar.

My husband and I had Tiger Solar install a full solar array with battery system two years ago. We are in awe of the wonderful service that they have provided at that time and since. Kyle from Tiger Solar did an excellent job updating our Solar Edge reporting system and doing a complete checkup on our five years old solar panels. Our original Solar Company had gone out of business and Tiger Solar was willing to help us with connecting our system to the Ethernet so that we will have continuous information from our Solar panel system.

Outstanding. We began looking for a solar installer last year. We received quotes from 5 total installers. Most of them "called it in" and used outdated satellite imaging to form a proposal.

Tiger Solar (known as AltEnergy at the time) was the only group who came out to do an on-site inspection to make sure their proposal was as accurate as possible. This made a large impact as our tree coverage had recently changed.

I had some questions and ideas about the array orientation. Chad was able to provide a concrete answer with data to backup the decision after visiting our house.

From all the proposals we received, Tiger Solar (formerly AltEnergy) stood above the rest with the most reasonable pricing, quality panels, and a well designed array avoiding odd gaps on our roof. They were willing to work with us even when we had to wait a few months due to other projects going on.

Maybe we had the perfect storm of good timing, an easy roof, and no HOA to deal with. Either way, I was surprised how they were able to provide competitive pricing and the perfect sized array for our needs. Seriously, no one else came close.

They never pressured us and volunteered to wear masks when they noticed us wearing them.

Chad and the installers (Kyle & Chris) are all very knowledgeable. The communication is excellent, the installers stay safe, and they're willing to work with any weather obstacles that come their way. The team went above and beyond to ensure our panels were installed before another weather event forced them to delay (for the safety of the installers).

Altenergy communicated with me effectively and installed the panels in a timely fashion. The price was competitive. I'm pleased with the system and think the system looks nice on my house. Even though they are out of Grand Rapids and I live south of Kalamazoo, the distance didn't seem to slow them down at all. I enjoy being able to see how much the system produces on the cell phone app and have been pleased with my energy bills. It's summer and my electric provider both reduces my summer bill and saves credits for winter when my home usually use the most electricity.

I called them to get a battery installed and they said they could do it and even gave an upper range which fit my budget. I spoke with Dave.

I was ready to hand them a check that day.

Then, I had the not so pleasure of speaking with Chad, who has to approve every job. He only wanted to do the job if I installed solar.

But I just wanted the battery for backup.

After calling a number of solar companies, who are the only Tesla certified installers in the area, I see now, at least for the companies I talked with, they are only interested in installing $40K+ solar arrays.

It's easy money because of the federal tax credit.
