Great job - I needed someone to remove and reinstall my solar panels to have a new roof installed On my house. I had a hard time finding a qualified company to do this task. Tiger Solar said we can do the job. They were great to deal with, from their office staff, the guys doing the removal and reinstalling and the manager. They all were great. I highly recommend them.

Tiger Solar 20Kw system installation review-

Chad and crew from Tiger Solar quoted me a system 18 months ago, when I finally pulled the trigger to purchase the system their team was professional and did quality work through the whole process. I cannot recommend them enough. I investigated Solar and did plenty of research, their pricing was competitive and their tech seems a click above with the backbone being the Enphase product. The Enphase micro converter system with app shows each panel production and is a very helpful tool in analyzing usage vs production. Tiger Solar controls the whole process internally, no outsourcing of labor of install to 3rd parties which I liked. If you are looking for a reputable company that does exactly what they say they will do, look no further!

Working with Tiger Solar was a great experience. The gang, with Vicente Cuevas in the lead, was a pleasure to work with. From the beginning of the project to the finalization of it they all were very helpful, courteous and willing to answer any question that we had. A half year after the installation of the system and we haven't had a problem with the system. Thanks for the great work, smiles and helpfulness. As an extra now that we are getting more SUNSHINE my wife and I are liking our new electrical bills, about a 1/4 of what they had been.

We selected Tiger Solar to install our roof system after getting quotes from several companies. Tiger stood out for excellent, responsive, fast communication as well as fair price for high quality components. They did a fantastic job handling all the interconnection logistics and everyone at the company was friendly and helpful. We’re happy with our system.

It was a very good experience getting my solar panels installed in my roof and everything associated with it. I'm very happy that I got solar but it's not totally working yet. I need a CAT5 cable to be installed from the enphase unit outside to my Wi-Fi transmitter. As The app is not fully functional yet because I'm not getting Wi-Fi to the box outside. I have discussed it with Kyle and he says it will be rectified and the cable will be installed soon.

Happy to leave a positive review for Tiger Solar. Everybody was friendly and very professional. Tiger worked with a fussy homeowner on a somewhat non-typical installation. There were some big revisions to my first plan but everything went smoothly with good communications by the Grand Rapids crew and with the office in Charlottesville.

VerPlank Electric has done extensive work for us both on our commercial building (complete overhaul of all wiring, lighting, moving meters, etc) as well as at three homes. Each time we called, they were responsive and thorough. The technicians have been very knowledgeable and professional. I wouldn't call anyone else

Called Verplank Electric after the power went out in my house expecting to here I would have to wait a couple of days before he could come and look at the problem. I was surprised to see Dave Verplank in my driveway less then an hour later. Dave reviewed the problem, went and got the replacement parts and installed it promptly. Dave did a great job and give me a great price.

The neutral wire on our house came loose and wreaked havoc on our electrical system, and I had no idea what to do. I called Dave, and he had Matt come over right after the job he was already working on. Matt arrived an hour before estimated, and was able to quickly identify and fix the problem. He also stuck around to answer some questions about electrical upgrades we are planning, and gave me some things to think about before having them come back out to quote the project. Dave and Matt are great people who do quality work, and are exactly the kind of folks I was looking for in an electrical contractor.

Dave from VerPlank returned our initial call within 24 hours, and had an electrician on site by 8am the next day. Our technician was Matt, who did a great job all around. He was very respectful of our home, taking care to keep it clean and avoid damage. He even took his shoes off without us having to ask. Matt worked quickly, and expertly solved two separate and very tricky issues that were beyond my DIY skills. After that, he also relocated a light fixture, and repaired the lights over our stove, doing a great job on both. This company is very professional and knowledgeable, I'd hire them again without hesitation. Total cost for 4 hours was about $400, including about $10 in parts.

My wife and I have used serval electrical companies in the Grand Rapids area over the last couple years and VerPlank Electric was one of the best we've had to date. They were responsive to my initial request, on time (early) when scheduled for installation, friendly, and the pricing was extremely fair. Will certainly be using them for future projects!

A representative of VerPlank came to my newly purchased home to evaluate the electrical system. The home was built in 1910 and has a mixture of knob and tube, cloth Romex and modern Romex. I had some concerns about the older wiring in the house and was prepared to start chopping into walls and ceilings to remedy it, if necessary. After going through the entire house and listening to my concerns, he pulled me out of my doom and gloom mindset and offered potential solutions that he would preform if it was his own home. He also told me how we could consolidate our future electrical projects so that I could get the most out of my money when I do have them come out to make some changes/upgrades. I'm going to start creating a to-do list after I've lived in the house for a bit and when I'm ready I'll be more than happy to give VerPlank my business, as they lifted a potentially very expensive weight off my shoulders with their free evaluation.

I called David to install electrical wiring and box for a Hot Tub I purchased in January of 2021, David dispatched a electrician and helper in May time from due to I was told Hot Tub would be delivered in June. They did a very clean installation of the wiring from inside the house out to where the hot tub would be placed. All that was left to do was once the hot tub was delivered was to run from box to hot tub. I found out the hot tub came in 2 day's before I was to leave for 2 weeks on a business trip out of the country. I called Verplanks office and the lady that answered was for cooperative in trying to schedule the remaining install before I left. They got the installation complete. Verplank does high quality work and will do it correctly and cleanly to look good. I highly recommend them for any electrical needs.

I have used a number of electricians during our 23 years in our home, and it can be challenging to find electricians who are interested in the smaller jobs. They did high quality work, and everything was professional. They surprised and delighted me with a very clever installation of the ceiling fan control right next to its switch, where you might have a dimmer in a light switch. The price was a good value. I will use them again, and couldn’t be happier with the job.
