We have known Dave VerPlank for many years and he has always been a pleasure to work with and to know. He has done work for us in our business and our home. He installed a whole house generator, and ended up selling several more based on our referrals. VerPlank was very responsive and was at my home the very next morning early! I was super impressed at that point! They installed a couple of light fixtures, took off a flood light, secured old wiring laying on a floor to an outlet, secured some other light fixtures, removed old doorbell. Recently had rerouting of the plug-in for the portable generator. The work was so efficient I hardly knew the guys were there. This is going to help me so much especially during the winter months when power outages occur. Also the light fixture above the soaker tub in the bathroom needed replacing and a dimmer switch installed. Again, great work and after 22 years I finally have a dimmer over my tub! Just plain happy!!

This week, I had a tree come down in my backyard and rip the electrical meter box and mast clean off my house. VerPlank managed to get someone to check out the damage, sent someone to replace the meter box, and remount everything to my roof, and I had the power company turn power back on within hours.

Service was prompt, informational and incredibly kind during a very stressful time for me. I will be a returning customer, but hopefully not for another tree incident. Highly, highly recommend.

Dave and Bill Did a fantastic job of wiring up our New shop. All machines fired right up and are working as if we never disconnected and moved them. The shop is super bright with the lighting they installed, and who would have know how good you can make conduit look running along the ceiling and walls. Very professional company to work with. I will refer them to anyone looking for electrical needs.

We needed a new sub panel put in. Steve came out and identified what we needed and Sam was here the next morning to do the work. He was very professional and explained why certain steps needed to be taken. I would have Sam back to do work in a heartbeat. I highly recommend Verplank Electric. They went way above and beyond to diagnose why the breaker to our hot tub kept tripping. Once they replaced the breaker, they proceeded to check every wire in the tub to isolate the problem. Single-handedly saved our hot tub! Third company to assess the situation. The only one that actually fixed it. FANTASTIC SERVICE!

I just wanted to take a minute to share my experience with this company. I had them complete an electrical service upgrade to 200 amp probably 3 years ago now.I knew after completion of that service that they do great work "attention to detail" was very apparent. Now for the real reason I am writing this review. I installed a new GFCI outlet in a bedroom last night and when completed,I could not restore power to that breaker. I sent a service request to have them come out and fix my blunder. Instead of them just coming out and fixing it for $400 (which I would have thanked them for) I get an email before 9am the next morning asking if I could call them and they would help trouble shoot. I had to work until 5:30 mind you the company closes at 5pm. I had the Vice President himself call me after hours and told me what wires to switch around and it worked. Very Hard to find a company nowadays putting customer the people before customers money. I am very thankful to be in VerPlank electrics service area.

My experience with electrical service was exceptional. My serviceman (Tom) was in touch before he arrived, he was professional and friendly and accomplished his work quickly and quietly. He cleaned up everything before he left and moved things back in place - which were moved just so he could perform his work. It was a wonderful experience, I highly recommend using this company.
