Very Family!!! Everyone's always SO Helpful.. Besides having the best Products, Simply a Joyful Atmosphere!!! Joe and The Originals passed down ALL THE CHARM AND KNOWLEDGE TO THE NEW GENERATION....WISH I COULD GIVE YOU GUYS MOTE STARS AND THE MOON ...🌟 🎈!!!!!

The service was very rewarding. The young lady that work there gave me a lesson on how to plant my tulips. The Hospitality was very friendly, and I will be returning back and I recommend my friends to go and Shop there this spring.

Just to note, it looks like a negative review or two were posted twice... This place is great, and while it might be a little bit more expensive than the big box stores - they really know what they're talking about. They know the area, the weather, and most importantly the different types of soil we have here on our area and what works best with them. While you'll pay a bit more here (I think that some of the reviews overstate how much) you're also paying for someone who knows more than just what's written on a product card.

Purchased 2 Hydrangea on 7/15/23. One of the pots the lady cut saying she didn’t like how it looked. I purchased them anyway. I brought them back on 7/23/23 to exchange for smaller ones. The short guy said they could come back if watered, but proceeded to say I can get new smaller ones and he can take 40% off. INSANE, I just purchased these. I truly believe I would have had a different outcome if I was a white woman.
I USUALLY GET ALL MY FLOWERS FROM HERE BUT NEVER RETURNED THEM. I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN AND IM SURE THEY ARE FINE WITH IT..ALSO I LEFT THE PLANTS WITH THEM. It’s not about the money it’s about customer service.

In general, this is a great place to get your landscaping and gardening supplies! 🌳🌼 I've been going there for years, and the family-owned operation has always been super knowledgeable and helpful. Any questions or problems I've had have been answered quickly and efficiently. Flowers. Full garden and landscape store with a TON of selection. Now, this is a bit of an old school garden center and heaven forbid you may get your hands dirty but the selection is vast and the quality is amazing. I think my favorite thing was the combination of price and selection.

Great customer service and selection. During our last visit, the cashier forgot to ring up a pumpkin and gave it to us for free. I was looking for tall stakes, and the sales person went out of their way to help us. They will load bagged topsoil, mulch, etc. right into your car. A very easy process.

The staff are amazing. So nice, friendly and eager to help. They had everything I needed. Pots, box woods, dirt, flowers and vines. They made it so easy. I saved so much time with a one stop shop. I will never go anywhere else. You guys Rock!!

This was my first Visit but it won't be my last. It's a much larger space than what it looks like from the outside. A vast and impressive selection of flowers plants, seeds and seedlings. There were things that I was able to find here, that I was not able to locate at much bigger nurseries. The workers are all friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. And although there was only one check out on the outside that I could see she was fast and knew the pricing of most items.

Do you live in Detroit and are in need of gardening supplies/plants? Don’t want to drive out to the big box stores? Support local businesses in your community instead! Allemon’s is great for every gardening need you could think of. Mary helped me today and was so kind and patient as I tried to figure out my planter boxes. Despite being a local store, their prices are extremely competitive. They even have a store cat that my daughter loves to find. Every time I walk in, someone comes to assist me within minutes. Can’t say the same for Home Depot and Lowe’s gardening centers. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I visit Allemon's usually three times a year, once in the spring, summer and fall. You can get just about everything you would need to get your outdoor space ready for spring/summer. If they don't have it, the staff will do everything they can to find it and personally order it for you, that's great customer service. I don't buy my wood for our fireplace from there. However, they have a large selection of fruit wood for sale if you are one who enjoys using a smoker or barbecue. Their variety of plants and trees they offer is ample. Again, if they don't have it they will get it for you. I've lived in the area since 2017 and have never had anything but positive experiences at this establishment, keep up the good work!

This place is never open when I try to stop in… google says they’re open right now (Tuesday at noon) but everything is locked and no one in sight. Was hoping third time is a charm but 🤷‍♀️ call ahead of time!

I mistakenly assumed that this garden center would be way out of my price bracket and I am happily mistaken! Got astilbe, spreading juniper, a rosemary topiary, bay leaf tree, and some lavender plants to add to my garden. Love everything!!

Beautiful plants, lots of neat garden statues, yard products. The price was good on the barley straw for ponds. Also their plastic garden fencing was lower priced than other stores I've checked. Different statues than I usually see available including this really cool meerkat decoration which I was tempted to buy for the office as a joke (officer workers pop up like meerkats - peering over cubicle walls).

I really like this place a lot but recently I have driven there 3 times to find out they were closed and went golfing. and proud of it with the massive sign out front with a generic cartoon man wearing horizontal stripes and seemingly chipping into a white abyss. Online and google say they are open, and I would call but sometimes they just let the phone ring despite actually being there. Maybe stop being so nonchalant with your hours and let the world know when you’ll be hitting the links, and not just by a sub par cartoon out front.

My dad came here when I was little. So growing up this nursery is a great staple in my memory.
