Please DO NOT go with LawnStarter.
There is a trick being played here.
-You Signup for a service - They will allocate a pro - the pro will cancel or reschedule the service - then we have to wait - then another pro will be assigned and he/she will take two days to schedule it and we will be waiting - then the pro will cancel/reschedule the service and the loop repeats until your grasses are grown to a height more that what is specified in their books as long grown grass and then finally a pro will come, mow the lawn - bill you double and won't bag the clippings and above all they will do incomplete work.
So this is a nice trick of scheduling and rescheduling and letting the grass grow above the normal limit and charge you more.
So please avoid such companies which says they have a process in place to assign and schedule pros, rather you can contact the pros directly and get the service done. There are many good pros out there who are genuine and to the word.
So please don't go with LawnStarter or any such process oriented companies.

Cancelled my service.

Didn't reschedule.

Couldn't get anyone on the phone to assist.

No one answers there messages.

The only time they pick up is if you're a brand new customer looking to sign up. Anything outside of that, you'll be re-routed to a dead-end.

Not professional, just look at their building..

Also required to do a 3 cut minimum (which is not an issue if they actually serviced you).

The way you beat scammers is to cancel your payment method directly thru the bank. Set up a new card. PLEASE NOTE, that just by cancelling your card thru the bank doesn't save you alone. You still have potential collections to worry about due to whatever agreement you signed.. But if you're having issues like me when it comes to getting service and even simple communication, that agreement is technically breached (at least that's what I think).

Document your interactions fully and file a complaint/dispute with the BBB so that further action can be taken.

LawnStarter has been a good fit for us. Richard has done a great job mowing, edging, and with general clean-up each time, and we plan to continue to use him as the weather cools for some off-season work.

Lawn Pro offered a promotional deal. I downloaded the app and scheduled the type of service I wanted in the intervals I desired. The messaging system is easy to use and great for reaching service provider. You are notified when provider will be out for service or if the provider needs to reschedule. You get helpful tips on lawn management services. Once service is provided you give a review and payment is released to the lawn care company. Easy and convenient.

The work was extremely well done. I needed my lawn taken care of and some weeds cut back, and it was all done quickly and proficiently. I would fully recommend.
