Nathan came out and was so personable and knowledgeable about what was going on with my mom’s furnace. It was a blocked water hose and the pump needed to be changed out. After about half an hour everything was fixed. Thanks Nathan!

Contacted Detroit Furnace to schedule a furnace tune up and thermostat install. Jason P came out and took care of business. These guys are the best in the business. I had my furnace go out and they we able to get me up and running. They explained the price showed me what was wrong. It didn't take them to long to fix. Best part is they signed me up for the maintenance plan and then waived the service call fee cause i signed up. They gave me a discount even though I was a new customer. I will definitely be using them in the future.

Detroit Furnance always does a great job. Very courteous and professional. They always come in the time window provided by DTE. They take their time and answers any questions we have. Will definitely recommend them.

Detroit furnace came and installed a brand new furnace into my home 12/15/23 and they were so professional. They did an awesome job. They cleaned up after their self and everything is working perfectly. I can’t thank them enough and I highly recommend them if you need furnace work good job guys.

The young man y'all sent out today Mr Theo, he is the same young man y'all sent out two weeks ago to fix my refrigerator he fixed it very well he did a wonderful job. Today he is back to fix my stove burner tops 11/11/25. This young man does an excellent job He's very efficient and a wonderful and pleasant person to be around I appreciate him and thank him very much. We had 3 technicians come out to help us with a leaking filter on our fridge. The first one broke a part of the water line on the back of the fridge, the second told us it was not repairable and then Drew came out to help us. Drew is extremely knowledgeable and was able to fix the mistake the first technician made and he also figured out the issue with our initial service request. He was great to work with and would work with him again.

DTE HPP paid the Co. We called the Company who installed the furnace/boiler and had them do Annual maintenance B4 it got cold 30 days prior. It turned cold in October, we turned it on, waited all day, & NO heat. It was worked just fine when it was maintenance the month before. That Co could not get to us til Nov 5th - too long. We had no heat for 2 weeks, and Seniors in the home. We bundled & used space heaters. Detroit Furnace has sent a qualified plumber and part of the whole issue is this 100 + yr old house needs new pipes. A estimate was given, price not bad. We will use Detroit Furnace for the pipe install.

Theo from Detroit Appliance LLC was absolutely wonderful. He arrived on time and was efficient, kind, and extremely professional while diagnosing my appliances through my home protection warranty. He explained everything clearly and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. I had a great experience and will absolutely use Detroit Appliance LLC again in the future — and I’ll be recommending them to friends and family as well.

Jason P was so helpful and friendly by patiently helping me to get my heater controller reprogrammed. He was able to help me over the phone without any problems. He gave clear instructions that were easy to understand. He even offered to come to my house tonight if needed. Greetings, peace is the greatest wealth and thus far I have no peace since Detroit Furnace installed my furnace two years ago — lots of banging from my radiators that keep me awake. I have called again and again and been very patient. They send the same tech out (z) and although he comes out the problem continues. He states he found no problem but says it will be expensive to tend to radiators but will give me a quote. It’s been months and still no quote but apologies from tech stating he is overwhelmed working over 60 hours. I empathize but still waiting on a quote after months. I called main office again receptionist doesn’t know who the office manager or owner is (reminds me of that funny commercial) . I paid over 20 thousand dollars to have it installed but I can’t get my furnace working properly? Tech comes out again —same tech and says he is replacing a steam valve which is not covered under warranty and will be 40 dollars. When he finished states it will be $159 est? He swept that extra price under the rug and never showed me what he fixed. Perhaps for all the trips needed a tip(LOL). Nonetheless, the banging continues and no estimate on the radiators or even to bleed or clean them. Each time they come out they say a third party has to help them? So I’m paying double and worst I have to schedule for the third party company and pay them as well. Front desk office are very polite but the service is disappointing. I am upset because of the promises as Word is Bond. Hire some experts who can get to the problem and please don’t overwork one person again peace be unto you. AMC

Kevin and Alec were just at my house to replace a faucet and the pipes for a new sink in my basement. They did an excellent job and were very pleasant and friendly. It didn’t take them long at all.
My husband and I tried to put the old faucet in and we broke it so I had to buy a new one. Kevin was so fast in installing it. They installed the pipes and answered all my questions. They cleaned up everything after themselves which I really appreciated too. I would recommend them and would request them again for any other issues I may have.

I’m one of the residents that was impacted by the city water main break which flooded many homes in SW Detroit.I called Detroit furnace the receptionist was very kind and quick. Detroit Furnace crew came in within 20 minutes of me calling. They were very kind and understanding and very knowledgeable by the next day they were installing a new water heater tank and new furnace. I would recommend Detroit Furnace they are truly reliable.

Referral From DTE, I WOULD NEVER Refer Them To Anyone, They Told DTE Our Furnace Was Unrepairable & No Parts Could Be Found Due To Age Of The Furnace. 2 Estimates Later Our Furnace Is Working With New Parts.

The experience with Detroit Furnace was marked by extreme unprofessionalism and a refusal to honor their contract. They reacted with what appeared to be righteous indignation—a smokescreen to disguise the fact that their work was subpar.
After we engaged another reputable company to inspect the crawl space—where Detroit Furnace had performed thousands of dollars in ductwork—the findings were appalling. The inspection revealed serious issues both with what had been done and what had been left undone. We now have a complete written report from this professional, well-established company and, unfortunately, must pay them to correct the work.
As a church, we had hoped to find an honest, trustworthy partner, but that proved not to be the case. When we attempted to have Detroit Furnace honor their 12‑month warranty by reassessing the ductwork, they refused to speak with us or return calls—claiming we hadn’t paid them. This accusation was false and served as yet another smokescreen.
Payment had never been an issue. We operate with complete integrity. A deposit was paid before the work began, and the remaining balance was paid in full on the day the job was supposedly completed. The confusion seemed to arise because they had to return within a day or two due to continued heating issues. During that visit, my trustee noted that we should not have to pay again since it was the same unresolved problem. The technician initially agreed, but later the story changed. Regardless, the heating problem remained unresolved.
The company that came afterward discovered that Detroit Furnace had, in fact, left the rooftop unit turned off—an unbelievable oversight.
In the end, Detroit Furnace failed to honor their contract, misled us repeatedly, and falsely presented themselves as operating under Christian principles. We are deeply disappointed by their lack of honesty, professionalism, and accountability.

Perry Durham, is a great plumber came out and took care of everything. Very professional and knowledgeable and also showed me how to maintain everything! Absolutely the best plumber I ever had! Didn’t take him long either.
I’m completely satisfied with my service! Don’t hesitate to call this company!
