I’ve used MJR for the last couple years to pick up my leaves. It would take me at least 50 bags and 6 hours of work if I did it that way, but with them I just load them onto a tarp and drag them to the front where they suck them up and haul them off. It’s cheaper and faster than bags and I couldn’t be happier with their prompt and courteous service even during busy times of the year like this.

I called MJR landscaping for the second year in a row for leaf removal.
Once again, It saved me at least three trips to the city of Grand Rapids disposal area.
This is a great value, timesaver and they show up on time.
I would definitely recommend and will be using them again.

We used MJR for our leaf removal this spring and i couldnt have asked for a better job. We had a massize amount of leaves and they even went out of their usual route/ restrictions to accommodate our lengthy driveway. I called them late in the season and they came out quickly and spent a short amount of time cleaning up all the leaves, saving me more money than expected initially. I am extremely pleased with the quality of service as well as the price. I will be using them for all landscaping/ property needs in the future.

We hired MJR landscape to suck up our leaves. Our kids were so relieved to not have to bag them all this year. It was so easy to schedule and pay online. They came when they said they would and did an excellent job cleaning up. With the time we saved we were able to get other yard projects done. This service was so worth every penny spent. Best leave year ever! I would highly recommend MJR landscape.

I used MJR for curbside leaf pick up. The job was delayed because of the snow but as soon as the snow melted a few days later they were there to complete the work. The worker had to fluff the leaves back up because the snow compacted them but they still finished in the 15 minute time slot. I was impressed and will definitely use them again and recommend to everyone.

MJR did a spring cleanup for us recently and we’ll definitely be doing it again next year. The two guys who came were very quick and efficient. My garden beds aren’t even this clear when I do it myself!

We had a great experience with MJR and plan to use them for our future landscaping needs as well. They went above and beyond to help with recommendations for landscape design even in areas they were not experts in themselves. The on site crew was great too. They also corrected a mistake they made and installed even better plants then we had previously! I would highly recommend working with this company.

We hired MJR to vacuum up our leaves just before Grand Rapids was hit with a record breaking snowfall. I've been incredibly impressed with the communication from the company and how they're keeping us up-to-date. I don't think anyone could have predicated how much snow we ended up with but they're handling things very well. Thanks!

Update 07/2024 - we've now used MJR for several projects, including french drains, broadleaf weed treatment and poizon ivy mitigation and I'm still incredibly impressed. Carla, Matt and their crews are great to work with and I appreciate how well everything is managed!

Hired MJR Landscape to do leaf removal this fall and it saved us so much time and hard work. Best decision and definitely worth what it cost. They came as scheduled and in just a few minutes removed the leaves we had blown down to the curb. It would have taken hours and multiple dozens of yard waste bags to do the clean up. Megan was very nice to work with and we will use this company again.

Christian and Ridley were very professional and kind. I’m very impressed with them as employees and would recommend this company.

I’ve had MJR come and take care of the zillion leaves in our yard for the past several years. They do a great job clearing leaves out of the gardens and off the lawn. The yard always looks so much better when they afterwards. The office is a pleasure to deal with and always keeps us informed of the schedule and any weather-related problems that might come up. The price is quite reasonable. I recommend them happily, and we may be asking them to help us with more lawn care and landscaping next season.

I recently had the pleasure of witnessing the professionalism and dedication of MJR Landscaping, particularly one of their employees, Kai. Kai handled a tree-trimming job in our strata with great care and communication.

Rather than rushing into the task, he took the time to assess the situation and listen to the surrounding homeowners’ concerns. The tree was in its early blossom stage, and there were differing opinions about how it should be trimmed. Kai ensured that all voices were heard before proceeding, consulting with both his boss and a strata council member to make sure everyone was aligned.

His attention to detail and commitment to proper communication were commendable. The end result was a well-managed job that considered the needs of both the tree and the community. Had MJR do some landscape work on the complex this week. The work included removing some very tough vines. We thought it would be marginally successful, but Jade and Levi did a masterful job in removing them. Those guys are real lifesavers. The area now looks great! Thanks for the pro-level work.

MJR was hired to do a huge Spring cleanup of my leaf-covered yard. They did a fantastic job. The men worked quickly and carefully around all my yard items. It looks great!

Unfortunately, I tried to set up a quote from MJR twice but never heard back from them. I had to fill out their google form twice as well because for some reason the first one did not go through. I also called them 3 times over the month of April trying to ask them to come out and look at my yard and get us going. The gentleman on the phone was really nice and told me that another gentleman would call me back to set it up. I did that twice and the second gentleman never called me. I had to go with another lawn service due to lack of response from MJR. I’m kind of bummed because their reviews are so high from everyone else and they were my number 1 choice/the company I reached out to first. The job we needed done was also a large one that was stressful for us to figure out as first time home owners, so the fact that they never reached out or called me after I attempted 3 times made the experience worse. Sorry to leave the bad review but I thought you guys should know so this hopefully doesn’t happen to anyone else in the future. Thanks for your time!
