The company was friendly and responsive before the work was done. Scheduling was problematic. We like being home when significant landscape projects are being done. We lucked out. Without notice, Alfresco showed up. The workers seemed to lack complete job descriptions of what was to be done. The last three phases of my contracted job are clearing and removing debris from the yard and killing all grass and weeds. The last phase of killing all the weeds was suspected of not being done. I called and was assured it was done. I asked the project manager to confirm via a work order of completion by the team. I had paid in full and did not have much recourse. The worksheet of who applied the weed and grass killer was never followed up on. I was not contacted back for the last phase of the project to quote, adding ground cover. This company may be a fallback company if no one else was available. They will never be my first choice. I am not going to chase or be the supervisor of jobs I hire to be done. Poor administration of job site and even less effective in providing information to work crews. Disappointing.

In fairness Alfresco Landscaping reached out as they stated. But it was too little too late. We have already replaced them with another landscaper and are very happy. Sorry it did not workout as planned.

Amy was on every detail of the job, making sure I was informed as to what the process was and answered any questions I had along the way. They were so kind and accommodating to any changes I wanted to make to the job. There crew who did the landscaping was kind, pleasant and so friendly. They worked real hard to get the job accomplished with in a short time. I a very much looking forward to years of enjoy the beautiful they installed around my home. Can’t wait to post a photo when the grass is green. Thank you Alfresco landscaping.

When it comes to specific jobs, like designing a landscape from scratch, or other tasks where they have to work very closely with their customers, this company is perfect. But when it comes to year-round maintenance (which is the bulk of what they do) they are unreliable, undermanaged, slow, and expensive. Their general landscaping team is clearly either not trained well or prone to rushing, because the work they do looks worse than what my wife and I could accomplish in half the time. If those services were cheaper I would be a little less harsh, but they charge a premium just like every other service. Why should I expect less quality?

We engaged Alfresco based on their reputation and the design work in their proposal. This was a new home construction and their work included planting beds, ornamental trees, underground sprinkling, lighting, stone steps, stone patio and a new lawn. Project seemed under-managed. Overall we were disappointed with the outcome and would not recommend.

We are very pleased with the work that Alfresco completed in our yard. The design, lighting, and selection of plantings and trees aligned with our landscape goals and the character of our mid-century modern home. The design phase was smooth and provided us opportunities to make revisions. Once on site, the crew worked hard to complete the work in a timely fashion. The quality of the work and attention to detail was excellent. We highly recommend the Alfresco team!

Alfresco made the process so easy from start to finish! I would highly recommend them for any landscaping needs. Colton and team were amazing to work with.

Neighbor uses them. Their lawn looks great. But the guys who come to take care of the fall leaves just blow most of them onto my property or out into the street, even though the trees the leaves are from are not on my property.

Guess it's not their problem if they just blow em onto a non customers property. Can't do anything about it then.

They’ve been very well treating their customers, and especially Amy in the front office has been helping me right along for several years very happy. And Sara that works out in the field has been working with me as well and she’s phenomenal….

The Alfresco landscaping team were the best. Paul came up with an excellent design. They were all professional and executed on time. They even fixed up some minor issues for us. I highly recommend them in the greater Grand Rapids area and western Michigan.

I am so pleased with our front landscaping designed by Alfresco Landscapes. We left the design and plant choices up to them. They did not disappoint! The variety of plants is amazing and we will have color blooming throughout the summer months. I highly recommend their professional services and kind staff. We had two unhealthy plants that I asked to be replanted in a different location, "no problem."

By far the most dependable, friendly and efficient lawn care/ snow plow service out there. We’ve used this service for a few years now and will continue to use this service in years to come as they are so easy and pleasant to work with.

I like their Snow News email updates on their driver start times. I love that they come after the city has plowed and cleans out the ends of the driveways! I have been with Mast for 3 years now.

We love Mast Contractors! We have had them plow our drive for the past several winters, great job, always done on time. They've stopped in to help out around the yard in the summer, just last week they helped me mow the lawn when my Dad's mower broke down in the shop. Such wonderful professional work, highly recommend their services.
