Wow, what an experience! Al was extremely helpful and their selection is out of this world. If it has to do with plumbing this truly is a one stop shop. I even learned something while I was there. I will be a returning customer for sure!

Petersen is the best. They can get you whatever plumbing supply you need, regardless of how hard it might be to find elsewhere. They are also incredibly helpful, and answer any question accurately, as they are incredibly knowledgeable. I always go to Petersen plumbing for my plumbing supply needs.

Always courteous, friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. I learned, a few years ago, that Petersen Plumbing is the only place to go for all of my home plumbing needs. You will not find service like this at Home Depot or Lowe's.

Scammers. Showed up to my house trying to work on the sink when I never scheduled a service. The guy was at the wrong residence. They proceeded to send me a $200 bill. I called them to dispute it and left message after message. I never got a call back.

One of the best places to come for all your plumming needs. They are far more personable, kind, reliable, professional, hard working, and masterful in their work, than going through some corporate owned place like Home Depot or Lowe's. Petersen Plumming, family owned since its start, has been helping people for 100 years now and they're still going strong. I strongly recommend their services for their quality work and integrity in business dealing.

I called to have 2 leaky faucets fixed. The plumber came and broke the handles on the one faucet but at least he fixed it. The other faucet he took apart and replaced parts but the faucet still leaks. They charge me $184 dollars. There was a service call fee of $53, there business is 5 miles away from me. They also charge me about $50 for parts. I thought that that was expensive since they only fixed one faucet. I called them to give them a chance to correct it. He said they could come back out and I said that they would probably charge me again and he didn't say anything. He kept saying humans make mistakes. I completely understand this but they should correct it. I was not happy and will not use them again.

These guys do excellent work and they're very knowledgeable. Their store has lots of hard to find stuff at great prices. If they don't have it they can help you get it! I will be back for all my plumbing needs. Thank you!

I contacted Petersen for my plumbing issues based on their amazing reviews, but I have to say my experience with Petersen was nothing like theses reviews. We had an appointment at noon, but the plumber arrived an hour and half late and was not able to finish the work! The plumber had to leave to make it to his wife’s birthday (granted this was at 3pm). Isn’t it the plumber’s job to put the customer first?

I had to call and set up another appointment with them. The plumber came back out, finished the work and left. We came home that night and our sink was STILL leaking. This caused me to call again, for him to come out a 3rd time! Thankfully our sink is fixed now and not leaking.

We received the bill and they are charging us $360 dollars for labor, the invoice does not call out the hours worked or the rate. They are charging us for every day they came out, even though they did not complete the work the first day and did not fix it right the first time! Peterson has horrible customer services as they are not making any adjustments to the bill and is arguing with us on what should be paid! They are charging us for more labor than what they did, and we should not be charged for them to come back out and fix what they did not do right the first time!

I am posting this on every possible review so everyone is aware!!

I would give 4.5 stars if I could. I was able to get a non-emergency appointment very quickly. The person the phone was able to answer my questions and guide me through the process. He explained the truck fee and labor per hour cost which helped me estimate the cost before hiring them.

The man who came out is a pure craftsman. He did everything right. He pointed out everything that the previous guy had done wrong and explained why it's wrong and why the right way is right. He cleaned up after himself, he was a great conversationalist, he was patient with my questions. They've been in business for 97 years and for good reason.

However, two small minuses. I understood the appointment to be at 9am. At 9:30 I got a call asking if it was OK to head over. Second, I was expecting the work to take about 2 hours. Instead, it took about 4 hours because of uncovering new problems (not his fault). As such, the work cost about double what I was expecting. I just wish he would have given me the estimate before he started because I wouldn't want a family on a tight budget to be surprised by extra cost for a non-emergency fix.

Overall, very pleased. I will definitely be hiring them again.

***Update*** We had a house call to have two leaky spouts fixed and two stems replaced. Steve was great, he was friendly, professional and did an excellent job fixing everything. Again, I highly recommend Petersen!

I went to the local ACE and they didn't have a shower diverter that I needed and they recommended that I check Petersen. I went there and they had the exact same, hard-to-find part.

Just the very best. They had the Moen parts I needed and told me exactly what I needed to do make the job turn out perfect. I have been free dealing with them for 10 years and every job has turned out A-1.

I really wanted to like these guys and they were a candidate for my long term plumber in Grand Rapids. However, on a simple stove installation they ended up billing me more than the cost of the stove! They didn't install the anti-tip bracket and had to go back to do that (after a round of phone calls). They adjusted the bill by a small amount, but it was still a good deal higher than the original quote and significantly higher than other companies I've worked with since. Added a star for the work being acceptable but it took way too much effort on my part, and at an unfair price point.

Great people to work with. My home is over a hundred years old and Tom Peterson was able to fix a leak from from a claw from tub that has been causing me trouble for months.

My usual plumber was scheduling 2 weeks out. Anthony came same day, gave a fair quote w/ no upselling and quickly fixed my two old leaky valves. On top of that he was a nice chill guy, and left the place clean. Also appreciated the covers on shoes to not track mud in. Ferrer will be my first call next time a plumbing issue arises.

Anthony was very knowledgeable and thorough. He took the time to evaluate, and communicate his process, and delivered a great service in an efficient manner. Will definitely be using Ferrer in the future!

Jacob was at my house for a possible frozen pipe today. He tracked it to a small length of pipe that wasn't as insulated as well as the rest. He thawed the pipe, made sure everything was working as it should, including the water heater, and waited till warm water was coming out. I will use this business again in the future and would recommend them for your plumbing needs.

Very professional , friendly and fast reacting. Had an issue and they were able to fit us in with in 2 hours after I called them. We are very satisfied and would recommend them to everyone. Thank you for taking care of us when we needed it the most.
