At the initial quote Brett took extra time to analyze the site, ask questions about work I needed, and addressed any concerns I had. The crew then skillfully removed 2 large, dangerous trees near my home with no damages to the surrounding area or structure.

To top it off, they were very reasonably priced compared to other quotes I had gotten. 100% recommend!

Extremely happy with the work that Good Earth did at our house. They cleared out a bunch of dead/dying trees for us, helped brace two large trees in the backyard and took down two 60ft tall spruces that were both within 2ft of our house. Brett was very helpful and quick to answer all my questions. I plan on using them again in the future if we need any more tree work and I would highly recommend them to anyone else.

We had to remove a tree, and Brett and his team did a great job! They were thoughtful and careful not to harm our newly-planted gardens and went out of their way to ensure a clean and safe job-site. Further, they were great at communicating with us and completed the job in a timely fashion. Would definitely recommend.

Very personable and knowledgeable - a real pleasure to work with. The staff has a strong commitment to safety, which is important in tree work. We were really impressed with how great our tree looks now! They also did a great job cleaning up the worksite. There was just a little trouble with communication regarding a mix-up in the schedule.

Good Earth Tree care trimmed 2 large trees by hand for less than 1/2 the cost of another company that wanted to hack my 100 year old trees. They showed care and concern for my trees, yard, and did an excellent job. My back yard is so much brighter! They provided a quote with photos within hours of coming out, and executed the job exactly as described. 10/10 would recommend!

Brett was the arborist that came to check out our tree. He was great! He was communicative and knowledgeable. The crew was able to come out the following week which was a faster turn around than we thought. Overall wonderful experience with Good Earth Tree Care.

Good Earth Tree Care provided excellent service from quote to every step of tree trimming and removal at my home. The quote was incredibly detailed, with photos of each tree, including the cost of requested service for each tree. This detail allowed me to stay on budget; I could select the most important concerns for immediate service and plan others for a later date.
I decided to use Good Earth Tree Care after another company gave me a verbal quote, did not take pictures, or make note of the trees I wanted serviced. This other company also stated they may not be able to trim the branches near wires and in a tight spot behind my shed in the back yard.
Good Earth provided the details I needed and showed no doubts in their ability to trim the trees that were of a concern to me.
Brett and his team are knowledgeable on how to trim trees for the best health of the trees, while satisfying the customer’s request.
The crew was very respectful of the property and did an excellent job cleaning up and removing all debris.

Rick and his crew did an awesome job. Rick was attentive to what I wanted done. He didn’t mind my watching, asking questions. He valued my input on some cuts. His crew were friendly, did a great job with the other work that needed to be done. Cleaned up, yard looks great.

I tried getting a quote from them and they showed up and acted like he didn’t want my business, but took my list of trees reluctantly.
He never gave me the quote, so I called and left a message for them to call me please. I never heard back. How is this place in business?

Good Earth Tree was professional from start to finish. They came out for the estimate when they said they would. The estimate was very reasonable. We have a 25 year old Washington Hawthorne. It was trimmed by another company a couple of years ago and not done well. It was pretty rough looking. By the time Brett and crew were finished pruning the tree it looked great. We highly recommend Good Earth Tree and will use them in the future.

Good Earth Tree Care was one of four Grand Rapids area tree services we contacted and gave an estimate for removing trees from our yard. We had an elm tree that was dying. I was especially impressed with Brett from Good Earth when he came out because unlike two of the others, he was more interested in the overall health of the trees and the condition of them in our yard. One of the others was also very deliberate about the trees. We had planned to have the Elm and three cherry trees that had likely self-planted before we owned the house removed. But Brett thought one of the cherries did not need to be removed and posed no problems for the other trees around it--again, he was not just interested in the most profitable solution. We ultimately selected Good Earth because of how Brett was with his approach and because his price was simply considerably better.
Good Earth came and removed the trees. They adapted their approach to be the least disruptive to our yard, requiring no removal of our fence to gain access with equipment. It meant more work for them, but that was simply how they do things. The removal went smoothly. They consulted with me and were happy to address my questions and wishes, such as retaining some of the wood and wood chips for my own use. The cut things to make them useful to me rather than fast and efficient for them.
I would use them again, I recommend them to anyone else in the area looking for good tree service.

Just had a HUGE tree cut down today! I am so happy with the outcome. I got a lot of quotes done and they are by far the most fair with pricing, they're professional, clean, and quick! It only took a couple hours! And the tree was twice the size of my house and had power/cable lines running through it. It was hanging over both my house and my neighbor's house. ALSO - they communicated with my neighbors for me about it! Highly recommend and will definitely use them for any future jobs. ALSO! Almost forgot! I had Brett check all my trees. He is extremely knowledgeable and isn't just trying to make money and take trees that aren't necessary to come down. Good dude.

I'm incredibly happy with the work Good Earth did on my two maple trees. From every step of the process. When he came to give an estimate, Brett walked me through what he thought would be best for my trees in order to preserve their health for years to come. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. Rick and the crew did a great job when it came time to trim the trees and did a great job cleaning up.

Good Earth removed a very large tree near our home that had split. It was a big job and they did it in a day! I also appreciated them working with me to leave a large snag for wildlife, neatly organizing logs for me to use and they took care to avoid damaging existing trees and gardens in the area. Extremely glad I went with Good Earth; it’s obvious they take pride in their work.

Good Earth has been great for us on several occasions, and we've referred them to our neighbors and family, who have also been happy with them. We first contacted them when we had two trees damaged and beginning to fall in a storm--they were very responsive, timely, and cost effective. Their responsiveness, efficient work, and professionalism have been great each time we've used them and we highly recommend them.

Great experience! Taking care of trees is an investment and from the initial consultation until the actual day of work, Good Earth never felt like they were scamming us or trying to get us to take down more trees for their profit. They genuinely care about the earth and its trees! Also, the design on their trucks is TOP NOTCH. The work performed was quick and clean. We talked about what branches we wanted removed, and within a few hours, everything was cut, cleaned, and hauled away. I can't recommend them enough!

I can see why they have such great reviews! After getting 10 quotes from around town, we settled on Good Earth to remove 2 trees for us (one of those trees being extremely large with a lot of obstacles). They had the best quote out of all the places and their communication was the best. Scheduling was about 40-45 days out from when we signed the contract which was the only downside, but I highly recommend waiting because they do a fantastic job! They arrived on time, were professional, and cleaned up everything!

This is a great company! Rick responded quickly to my request for a quote to remove my tree that had fallen on my neighbor's house. He was able to take care of this quickly and did an amazing job with the crane operator, Ed. Dave and his partner did a great job cleaning up/removing the tree, and there was no trace left when they were finished. Charles was super nice and did great with the stump grinding. Everyone who I interacted with was very kind, professional, respectful, and knowledgeable. I've used this company in the past and will continue to do so in the future. They're the best!!

Brett and Amy did a great job in very challenging conditions. They were extremely careful in their work and did not harm our other bushes or trees as they dropped the branches and limbs off the tree.
