Had an issue with my heat the past week I called Livonia HVAC and he was able to come out same day fixed the problem all while cleaning up as he worked and charging me a better price than the other 2 places I called. I would definitely recommend and will be using again!

Very disappointed in the service we received from this company. On the initial service call, the technician was unable to diagnose the issue, despite our heat only working periodically. He recommended a service to get our ducts cleaned, which we had done and it did not resolve the issue. We followed up with Livonia HVAC to see if they'd come out again, but the technician was adamant that he could not find an issue. We finally called a different company to come out. They diagnosed the issue immediately (a dirty flame sensor), which they said is a common issue and any HVAC technician should know to check for that. So for such a common problem that should've easily been fixed in the first place (and cost under $200), the whole experience cost us over $600. So I'm not sure if they are under-qualified or they just take advantage of new homeowners, but I would not hire or recommend this company to anyone.

EDIT: In response to owner's comment: Let me break this down since clearly you are not understanding. You come out and are unable to find the issue. Service charge is $106. You recommend a duct cleaning service. That cost us $400 and did not resolve the issue. I call a week after the original appointment to schedule service again. There were no available appointments, but you reiterated that you couldn't fix something if you could not identify a problem. We couldn't wait through the weekend so we called another company. They found the problem immediately — a dirty flame sensor — and said that any HVAC technician should be able to figure that out. They also said they wouldn't have recommended duct cleaning for the problem we were having. They serviced the furnace and the issue was resolved immediately. They charged us $180.

106+400+180 = 686

So the whole experience cost us over $600 because you couldn't identify a simple issue.

AC quit on the hottest day so far this summer in Michigan. Glad Livonia HVAC replaced the unit within couple days with great result. Always prefer to deal directly with owner /technician instead of contractors.

I called at 8 am and Tarek was able to arrive with 30 minutes. He was able to diagnose the issue with my furnace and repair it within an hour. He was pleasant to work with and I would recommend him to others.
