Have always been satisfied with Turf Doctor, they are an excellent company that strives to offer the best possible outcomes for my lawn. I had the opproutinity to talk to Michael Gonzalez today as he was applying the first treatment. He was helpful and knowledgeable, and super accomodating.

Turf Doctor's Pete is very thorough, making sure to cover those areas of my yard that aren't as obvious as other areas. His knowledge of the job he does is very good and he's a pleasure to talk to. Fast and efficient. Good job Pete and Turf Doctor.

June 2023 they came out and applied to slow release fertilizer with broadleaf weed control. About seven days later it started to turn brown. I called the owner at the time Mike and he said everybody’s has a disease just water it. I went ahead and watered as I was instructed, and it got worse and I also asked quite a few of my neighbors and their lawns were not diseased. Mike came out the owner at the time and he said that they put too much down and he put hay and seed down. The old stuff was not raked up prior to this being done. Mike then again came out in August and threw more hay and seed down and left. Called Mike again in September. He said that they would come out in the spring of 2024. I called in February to schedule an appointment and was informed that there was a new owner that is taking over for Mike and they would send somebody out to look at my lawn. March 2024 they sent someone out to look at my lawn. I called after the visit and they said they would come out on April 15 to take care of the lawn. They called me today on April 3. To say that they were going to spray my lawn I said I did not want it sprayed I wanted it taken care of and I’ve been been waiting since last year patiently. The new ownership told me that they were not going to do anything about the problems from last year from the previous owner that they are no longer responsible for anything from the previous owner. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!!!! Regardless of new ownership, the problem had been going on for a year without being resolved and now they don’t want to resolve it because there is a new owner. Ownership should not matter when the name of the company stays the same and you’re taking all of the current clients at the company. Do yourself a favor find another company because all they will do is ruin your lawn and then tell you continuously that they will fix it and never fix anything. And it sounds like the owner knew he was going to sell, which is why he kept putting it off putting it off and now here I am. Shame on these new owners, you should be taking care of the current customers. I have been with these guys for years but I’m done and if I have to take them to court I will. You’re still using the name of the company, so anything under that umbrella should still be taken care of, regardless of who owns the company. DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY AND THROW YOUR MONEY AWAY! They will not take ownership over the problems that they cause!

I was not told anything about reaching out to the old owner, nor was I offered his contact information. I was also never offered a year free of service. What I did tell you is, I had another company come out and they told me that for $300 they would come out and reseed and I requested that from you and that was declined. I canceled the fertilization appt, yes. I understand that you think putting nutrients down might help it. I’m just trying to get what I was promised over a year ago the reseeding.

Chris went above and beyond with his work on my yard. He took his time and made sure that every single inch was carefully treated with liquid weed control—no shortcuts, no missed spots. His attention to detail and commitment to doing the job right truly impressed me. You can tell he takes pride in his work, and it shows in the results. My yard looks fantastic, and I couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend Chris for anyone looking for reliable, thorough lawn care!
