Great install team. They are now maintaining the generator - they come when expected, check in, work is done as expected, advise me of any issues and leave the generator in a neat and clean condition.

With how often you can get scammed and not have good work or responsibility, I was worried about finding someone to put in a generac generator. I WAS SO HAPPY WITH PLATZ! They were at my home when they said they would be at my home. They got the job completed and worked right alongside the propane company! They were friendly, they knew what they were doing! And they are what I would call gentleman. It was done on time, and they even cleaned up and swept my sidewalk when they were all done. I highly recommend them! Their prices are competitive and their work is exemplary.

Platz Electric services my Generac home generator, coming faithfully twice a year to make sure it is running smoothly. They have it programmed to start up on Saturdays to make sure we will always have power when needed. My Generac was a big investment and the Platz professionals keep it always ready to power up our home.

The two gentlemen who did the repair did a great job. Communication if they were not going to be here on time needs a little work. I needed to follow up when they were not here at the time window they gave me. Totally understand there are delays just ask they communicate the time change.

5 ⭐️ for everyone in this company! I had an electrical emergency, they had techs out within an hour and back the next day to fix everything. The whole crew went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right, safe and passed inspection. They did everything like pulling permits, contacting electric company and inspector. Will definitely be using them again when in need ! 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Called Platz electric after our pole was struck by lightning and split.. Chris came to view situation and to give a quote. While here I asked if they could relocate the pole that was being replaced to the back yard and install an led dusk to dawn and to replace my mercury light in the front with an led dusk to dawn. They came on time as promised. The crew that came was incredible, personable, and knew there stuff. Also during the project I inquired about the Generac generator.. So while here, they changed the plans some... Put in the transfer switch for us while everything was torn apart so now in the near future will be having Platz install our new generator. Very Highly Recommended and We will only use Platz in the future. Thank you for an awesome experience..

A plus, plus, plus to Platz Electric and the entire team. Fourteen years of outstanding service. We had our first need for a service call today. A relay switch simply "went south" and needed to be repaired. Called them at 7:30 am and they arrived at 10:15 am. "Service Tech" Bill did an outstanding job and had our system up and running within an hour. I would recommend Platz to anyone, anytime.

We had Platz install a generator about 5 years ago. I had 5 quotes for generators and they were the only company to give me multiple options on what would work for us. They installed a Generac unit that it has worked flawlessly. The longest period it had to run was three straight days last summer, after a severe storm came through our area. We have the maintenance program in which they come twice a year to make sure the unit runs when needed. Plus it test runs for 5 minutes every Monday at 10 am. Great company to work with.

We have used Platz Electric for a few years now and are always happy with their work and pricing. They are honest, diligent and good at what they do. The individual electricians are always courteous and helpful. Today, Bill helped us and made sure that a problem we needed to have fixed was actually working before he left. Bill R. Came to our home in Croton and performed a whole house assessment of the existing electrical setup. He tested every outlet, and determined the specific use for every light switch in the house. The exterior lighting was also inspected and tested. He was extremely thorough, knowledgeable, professional and efficient, not to mention, very personable. He then tested and inspected our back-up generator to assure uninterrupted service during outages. The service was exceptional, and we will use them for regular generator maintenance/service ongoing. Let me first say the installation was great the tech was very professional and quick. It was the after experience that was HORRIBLE. They kept insisting to do maintenance every 6 months. I watch the guy the first and the oil did not look used at all, he stated it would be okay to do it once a year. I then made note of the date and let the VERY rude office lady know that's what I preferred. I was told it would be scheduled that way. ^ months later they came in unannounced and did anyway. I was then told by another somebody forgot to schedule it annually. 6 months later same thing so I called again spoke to yet anther lady and was told the tech missed the note. I told them how I felt about the this at this point I was not so nice. Now they just stopped coming out, I would call every couple weeks to ask about maintenance and was told they're behind. After the yellow warning light came on I called again to be told it's not a big deal but they would be out. This went on 3 months after the annual maintenance was supposed to be done. At this point they began to lie about it, I spoke to at least 4 different women over this period of and they all acted like they didn't who I was and what I was upset about. Then she said they need a 4-5 month lead time because they have so many customers. That translates to roughly every 6 months, REALLY? So they will get their money anyway. This is all just a big game to them. The staff is SO rude and child like it's just crazy that they have no one to answer to. Platz Electric should be completely ashamed of themselves. I have since found a new company to do the maintenance, little more money but boy is it worth it. My advice? maybe let them install the generator but find a different company to maintain it.

My Husband and I had Platz come over and install two ceiling fans. Great experience from call scheduling to installation. Will was great. Respectful of property, knowledgeable about the wiring and very patient and polite.

I needed a few new light fixtures installed and hired Platz Electric Co.,LLC to help me out. Bill, a journeyman electrician, showed up at 8am and had the job done in no time at a very reasonable price. They provide great and consciencence services with attention to detail at every turn. I would highly recommend them for any electrical work you may need.

Platz and everyone I have dealt with have been great! Nikki in the office was super friendly and extremely knowledgeable and helpful every step of the way. I just had a whole house generator installed and electric restored to my shed and garage and as of now I couldn’t be happier. Chris Albert was very knowledgeable and helped me figure out exactly what I needed. The crew arrived promptly and worked through the summer heat to get everything up and running for me. So far so good. I’m glad to have a reliable team to go to if I need any further work done!

Bill came out to repair a power pole that had been damaged when a tree fell on the line. He worked quickly, clearly knew exactly what he was doing, and was personable and easy to talk to throughout the process. Really appreciated the fast, professional service. Would absolutely call them again for any electrical work.
