Reviews of local pros in Riverview, Michigan

Had McGregor regrade and sod our backyard last summer. The crew was great and very nice. Greg was very professional and gave us some options for specific concerns.
However, some of the sod was brown from the start and we had concerns. We followed the watering guide provided for new sod and 50% of the sod was dead and brown by the end of summer. Especially along the entire perimeter of the yard where our fence line sits. Despite watering 2-3 times per day, based on temperature and sunlight, at the end of summer there were areas of sod that I could pull up in long sections because the roots never took hold and subsequently died. Needless to say, we were pretty disappointed considering the price we paid. Now, during the winter we're seeing that the grading didn't improve the standing water in our yard. We are still getting massive areas of standing water during the recent ice thaw and rain. Again, massively disappointed after what we spent less than a year ago.

McGregor's is better than ever. Very reasonable. Timely, professional, friendly, hardworking crew. I got estimates from other landscapers and have used others in the past, but now it's going to be McGregor's for me. Dealing with Joe and Greg made everything go smoothly. Spending the money wasn't the issue, being satisfied is. And we're VERY SATISFIED! Thank you McGregor's!!

McGregors Landscape did a phenomenal job!! Would recommend and hire again!!

Had some backyard work done( firepit area, pavers, mulch and edging) all looks great. People where knowledgeable and easy to deal with. Thanks

I can’t say enough how happy I am with the job Matt and his team did on my yard. Everything is perfect. Including the clean up in my front yard too.

I had a large old landscape that required removal
as well as repairs to the yard left from plumbing work. McGregor’s completed the work within a couple days and left my front and back yard looking just as I wanted.
The company promptly took my calls while always answering my questions. I highly recommend McGregor’s Landscape.

Mcgregor's Landscape did a phenomenal job on my landscaping project. Greg was very professional and informative when discussing the scope of the project. The landscaping crew was very professional and hard working to get the project completed. We are very pleased, the landscaping looks amazing.
We would definitely use Mcgregor's for any future projects and will also recommend them to are family and friends.

Everyone did a great job. They explained the job well and helped us make decisions on what we wanted. The crew did an excellent job on the patio and it looks great. Price was very good too.

They transformed my dirt mess into a level beautiful yard again there crews did a great service

After receiving an estimate and a detailed plan, the crew came out and worked through extreme temps and executed the landscape as previously discussed. Everyone was friendly and their work ethics were top notch! I love my new landscape and would definitely recommend McGregor’s Landscaping - they know what they’re doing!

I highly recommend McGregor's Landscape to make your yard as beautiful as they made mine. They did excellent work with respect to me, my property and to eachother. Everything was cleaned up over the daily over the 5 days of work. Very happy with the finished job.

We hired McGregor’s to install red mulch in all the flower beds at my mom’s house. She is an avid gardener and has many beds which surround the perimeter of her house both in the front and backyards. A crew of 5 guys installed 6 yards of mulch after they prepped the beds by removing any growing weeds and generally ensuring the beds were clean and well prepared. The crew was very friendly, personable and professional. They were all eager to ensure my mom was happy with their work, and reminded her multiple times to let them know if something wasn’t to her liking. We had a great experience and will definitely be calling McGregor’s again for additional needs. This is a first class company that is responsive, professional and a pleasure to work with - from the first phone call to the site visit for measurement, to the working crew. Great job!

Love my new Crabapple Tree (& other work.) Great installation from McGregor crew!

The McGregor crew did a great job on my property. They were professional, thorough, and friendly. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for landscaping services.

I wanted to give a shout-out to Greg at McGregor's Landscape in Riverview. I spoke to him on the phone on two separate occasions about issues I was having with my lawn. His guidance saved me a few thousand dollars. He walked me through the process step by step, recommending the right products to eliminate the grub problem and helping me restore my grass to its original thick, green quality. While the progress has been slow, it has been productive. Thank you, Greg, for educating me and saving me a significant amount of money. You truly prioritize integrity in customer service over profit. Thanks!
