Ken does an awesome job! I’ve had him out to 3 different properties over the past two years. Each time I’ve reached out I’ve received prompt responses, on the nose estimates, and stumps removed within a day or two. I highly recommend Motor City Stump Grinding!

AMAZING!! I had an excellent experience with Motor City Stump Grinding! Fantastic from start to finish. They offered a very reasonable rate and communicated clearly throughout the entire process. They took care of a tricky area with a deck and a stump right up against it, and did an amazing job. I’m so impressed with the results! Fantastic service and very fair price. Had to work in a very tight area near shrubs and air conditioning unit and nothing got damaged. Did way more than I expected grinding the stump down so deep. Again, Fantastic Service.

He showed up when he said he would and did a very thorough job, even giving me the number to a tree trimmer that he recommended. His prices are fair and it was cool to watch! Prompt response to estimate inquiry. Fair pricing. Fast service. Great work especially since the stumps were in a tight space between a chain link fence and concrete driveway. No damage to anything but the stumps!! Definitely recommend!!!

If I could give Ken and his team a 10 I would. They did an excellent job in my yard removing a stump that should’ve been done correctly when a tree was removed by another company. The photos show he was done grinding, which was the dirt. Pictures before that the other company had left, of which they were supposed to grind the stump down

Great job and experience using Motor City Stump Grinding. Easy communication through phone and text. Excellent price. Removed a very large red maple stump from the front yard and stumps of bushes near the porch. Got what we paid for and expected. Would highly recommend.

Basically the best! We have used them several times now for tree removal, and each time has been terrific. They are by far the most reasonable in terms of price, always give a realistic time to complete the work and come with a great crew who does a fantastic job. The entire crew was very friendly and professional. Will continue to use them as needed and continue to recommend them to others!

We had an emergency, a picture emergency tree fell in our front yard. We received this company from the City. We called and they came out that night to see what was going on. Told us they had to go back to the office to pick up equipment. They came back and the tree was on the ground and into the street. They removed the tree from the street and came back the next day to chop it and and remove it from the property. Workers were very nice and worked with us.

Recommend! They did excellent job trimming my large silver maple. Skilled climber, cutting & roping ( no bucket boom req’d so no lawn damage) efficient clean-up and all at good price. Matt also provides expert advice on ongoing tree health maintenance.

We had three trees on a corner lot that have been dropping branches during inclement weather. Matt came out and assessed each tree, provided us with options, and quoted us a very fair price. He and his team removed one tree altogether, including its stump, and trimmed the other two. The team did a super job, including very thorough clean up after the work was complete. The two trimmed trees look aesthetically great!

Hotshot Tree Service is top notch! I was in a crunch trying to finish a project before the weekend and couldn’t get a stump out. I posted a classified on Mother’s Day, not expecting much—but within minutes, Matt (the owner) reached out and said he could be there same day!

He showed up exactly when he said he would, had the stump gone in under 5 minutes, and offered very fair pricing. Even more impressive—he was willing to wait until I got back from dinner and still arrived just 10 minutes after I called.

The crew from Hotshot Tree Service were professional and meticulous. They cut down two difficult trees, both of which required tree climbing to remove. The trees were expertly and safely removed, as promised, on schedule, using state-of-the-art equipment, and the job site was 100% cleaned up afterwards. The price for this work was MUCH LOWER than expected. I highly recommend Hotshot if you need any tree work.

Matt and his team came out soon after the very fair estimate we were given and got straight to work! They were able to cut down some smaller trees and trim back some of the larger ones beyond my expectations. The backyard should get a ton more sunlight now and we’re extremely pleased! They were fast and efficient and definitely will be going back to them for future needs!

This is hands down the best tree service I’ve dealt with. I’ve had that handle a few jobs on our property, and they always come in at the best prices and go above a beyond to make sure everything is left clean. If you’re looking to have any trees taken out call this crew.
