I've had a few customer service issues at this location of a much more serious nature than the experience I had today, so it must be an accumulative effect prompting this review. Last year their delivery crew tried a 'dump and run' delivery of a brand new $2000.00 lawn tractor that looked like last years showroom model that was stored outside for the winter, and get this... WITH NO KEY. A few years before that, I had a crank out insulated window that was broken from a storm, a CSR explained that I needed to make a deposit to have a person come out and measure to provide quote. I gave the deposit, waited for the quote and then OK'ed the project. Paid for the window. Awhile after this the installer came out to preview the project and asked me if I was aware that the window they would be putting in would not match my other Windows...WTH??????? Cancelled the order and got my money back, but I did not appreciate wasting three weeks and getting weaseled to boot. Today, I ask a worker if a particular style of engineered wood flooring can be stapled down? He replies back "stapled in which way?" I remain silent for a few seconds and he adds "the flooring is designed to be floating" ---Oh ....so you know the flooring is intended to be floating, but you don't know in which way I would be stapling them.... Very passive aggressive and not a good CS experience.

I went to this Home Depot to purchase carpet for my new home. As a first time homebuyer, I was excited to make my place my own. I was recommended a particular kind of carpet by the flooring staff at this location, was measured, and had my carpet order placed within a couple of days. I was told it would be about 3 weeks until the carpet would come in, but that was fine - I had to rip out all of the old carpet myself because Home Depot's installers will not remove pet stained carpet. I ripped out all of the carpet and pushed back my move with the anticipation of my carpet. I was called by Home Depot and told my carpet was suddenly on back order - it would be 5 weeks until my carpet would arrive, and another 1-2 weeks before I'd be able to have it installed. With their timeline, it would be 6-7 weeks before I could move into my house (making it almost three months of ownership before I could live there). I expressed my frustration with the lack of communication between Home Depot and their vendors - you'd think that when a carpet mill has ALL of their carpet on backorder, HD would know. One of the employees I worked with had agreed with a manager that they would look for substitutes for me. I went back to the store to look at the options she found and really liked them. There was a price difference, but I was assured they would price match. The manager who helped me told me she wanted to call those mills to make sure the carpets were in stock so I wouldn't be in the same situation and would call me the next morning. I waited for her phone call, and finally gave in and called her myself. After three phone calls back and forth, I was told that they wouldn't do anything to help my situation but they would "toss in" furniture removal service - HELLO, I can't live in the house, your people told me to remove my carpet!! Needless to say, I'm cancelling my order and bringing my business elsewhere. This store is excellent at beating around the bush, making empty promises, and being excessively slow with their customer service. Funny, because their parking lot at its max is about 10 cars (believe me, I know - I've been there 4 out of the last 5 days dealing with this).

Requested an estimate at the state fair, this was easy, we were contacted and able to schedule the designer to come out in the evening, they had easy and flexible hours. It was several weeks once we decided on a design. We elected to have home depot home services do only part of our bathroom and do the rest ourselves. They removed and replaced the shower, floor, and removed the door and finished the frame. The contractors showed up on schedule, were professional, and clean. They completed the shower and floor, in 2.5 days, they were easy to work with and accommodating. They cleaned everything up after, and arranged the inspections as necessary. However, they did not let us know that for the final inspection our bathroom needed a latchable door, and scheduled the inspector to come out before we had time to finish our part of our bathroom. There were a few inconsistencies in the floor grouting, and they hauled away the shower curtain as well which we forgot to remove but had planned on keeping. Overall we are pleased with our partial bathroom remodel, especially the friendly attitude of the contractors, their cleanliness, and speed of installation! We would certainly use them again if we were in need of major remodeling.

They can't drive. I had to slam on my brakes to avoid rear ending one of there trucks because he pulled out in front of me. Wouldn't use them if they were the only electric company around, which they aren't, so you would think they would drive a little bit better.
