I had a fantastic experience with Arbortech Stump & Tree Removal from start to finish. The city was requiring me to remove my ash tree and so I started calling around to collect bids. Arbortech was the only company who stopped and asked if I had been through this process before. I hadn't and John explained that the city will collect bids and will likely get more competitive bids than I would privately so he advised me to wait for the city. I thought this was really cool. He wanted me to know my options instead of just wanting my money. I decided to move ahead anyways because the city timing is unknown and I had summer projects planned. Arbortech provided a very reasonable bid and they kept me informed the whole time. They showed up when they said they would and kept to the schedule during the day. Very friendly team and they answered all my questions. It was a seamless process and the ground where the tree and stump were removed looks amazing. I'll definitely call them again for any tree removal needs and will recommend them to everyone. To top it off, Chris took a look at my other tree and provided a lot of helpful information on the condition of it as I had been questioning it but know nothing about trees. Thanks Arbortech Team!

We have used Arbor Tech to trim and prune our trees for years. So when it came time to have a 40-year-old tree taken down, the choice was natural. They have always done a professional and neat job - you would never know they were here unless you were at home! I wasn’t home when they took our tree down - when I did get home there was level dirt where the tree used to be. But my neighbors told me all about it! They were all impressed with how well orchestrated the crew worked on the ground, in the tree and with the crane. I expected the great service that Arbor Tech always provides, but my neighbors weren’t! Thank you for convincing the neighborhood that great service still exists!

We had just had another great experience with Arbortech! This week they removed 15 trees from our yard and trimmed several others. We have used this service 5 times in the past 12 years for tree removal, stump removal and tree trimming. They are timely, hard working, do a great job and clean up. Money well spent!

Prior to having Arbortech remove a very large cottonwood tree from my yard I had two others removed by two different tree removal companies and no one came anywhere close to the quality of work I received from Arbortech. They were so courteous, careful and caring about my yard. They have outstanding equipment and get the job done the best way possible. I'm so glad I finally found someone I will definately call again. Don't hesitate to let them work for you, you'll be 100% satisfied!

We were very impressed and pleased at the level of work that was done.
We got 4 trees, 2 stumps and tree clippings (house clearance) removed for under 2k.
Of the 4, 2 trees were big oak trees. One stump was HUGE. Also they removed all the stumps from the removed trees as well.
And it was QUALITY work, very affordable when you consider all the equipment and labor involved in a project like this. They cleaned up after themselves and all the debris. I 100% would recommend. Not to metion, they arrived on time and got the job done in just under 4 hours.

We called other tree companies and one said they were going to charge us more than 2k just for the 2 big oak trees and told us WE had to remove our chain link fence for their grinder truck etc. But Arbortech just did the work for us they moved the fence and put it back again after the work was done. Very professional and helpful! We will use them again if we need any more tree services or even clippings! Ask for John and his team!

We are extremely happy with high quality work we received for the price. We had a huge maple tree on the side of our house near our Neighbors house. We needed a crane to remove the tree. They had it removed within a few hours with no damage to either property. When removing the stump they did end up cutting into my underground sprinkler system. They sent over a sprinkler system professional to come out and fix the electrical and hoses that got cut. Everything works perfectly now. It was really easy working with John our sales guy. He was very straight forward and honest with us the whole time. We couldn’t be happier with our experience. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a tree removal they are very affordable as well.

Awesome job by Arbortech Stump and Tree Removal! They came out for an estimate and were very informative about our trees and what we could have done. We had one tree removed and a large tree that hung over the house trimmed. When they showed up to do the work , with one large crane, a small crane, a truck to take away tree cuttings , and a trailer with two smaller machines on it, it was quite the production to watch!! I've never seen a crew work so well together! In no time, the work was done, everything was cleaned up and all the trucks were gone. From the estimate, to the service, to the price, I'm very happy with Arbortech Stump and Tree Removal.

Great experience working with John, Chris, and their Arbortech team. We had them remove a huge cottonwood from our back yard. The job was large, and required a crane and crew of 8-10 people. Their price was reasonable, communication was prompt and professional, and their crew did excellent work and cleanup. John and Chris treated their employees and customers with respect and they stand behind their work. Highly recommend!

Had Arbortech remove a large pine that just blew down. Talk about efficient, fast and professional. They had the tree cut up and removed in just over an hour. They did an amazing job cleaning up. Zero branches, saw dust, etc left in the yard. 100% would recommend as they don't price gouge. I got a few bids and one guy quoted me three times the price of Arbortech without even looking at the tree. Go with Arbortech!

If I could give higher than 5 stars I would. I'm utterly impressed with their work ethic! It was refreshing to watch them actually work as a team (don't see that a lot these days) fast, efficient, reasonable, informative and friendly... And was willing to negotiate extra work. We had a tall tree snap off during a recent storm. Instead of falling the tree lodged in an adjoining tree and we were afraid if it dislodged, it would most certainly hit a house. In addition, it was among a cluster of three trees which made the removal even harder.

Arbortech realized the danger of the situation and prioritized our removal over other jobs in the area. Unlike other tree services we've used in the past, Arbortech appears to have all the equipment needed to deal with both complicated situations, stump removal and the cleanup. The removal took a lot of finesse but they got the job done in a timely manner. It was obvious while watching the removal that; a) they knew what they were doing and b) they were very conscious of safely, always tying off the trees and branches to maintain control of the situation.

They needed to bring heavy equipment into our backyard so they put down boards and took measures to try and minimize damage to our lawn. The cleanup was thorough and they even took some branches from other areas of our yard… All of the workers were very friendly, polite and professional. In addition to the removal, they gave us recommendations for replacment trees, and information on pruning and care for other trees on our property.

Recently we’ve had roofing, gutters, and a garage door replaced, so we’ve been working with many companies, Arbortech was the exception. Great communication, professional, polite and informative. Great job!

John with Arbortech was great! Came out and quoted immediately, very reasonable pricing. Quick scheduling, showed up on time and took down 3 massive 100+ foot cottonwoods on my property in 1 day plus stump grinding. Would definitely recommend and hire again. The owner even came out for the job, very impressed with their commitment to service.

This is the fourth time having Arbotech Stump and Tree. In 2 hours completely remove two trees, just plucked them away with crane! One in front and one in backyard! Removed stumps and left area spotlessly level and clean. Reasonable price. Professional crew!

We needed to remove a very large dead tree from my mom's backyard. The tree was in an enclosed fenced backyard to make matters even more complicated.

I reached out to ArborTech and another company for a bid. The difference in pricing between two companies was significant, with ArborTech offering a far better price.

While we were unable to complete the process with Arbortech because her association removed the tree with no prior notice to us (so crazy!) John at Arbortech was the utmost of professional, pleasant and understanding of the situation.

I hope anyone who needs tree removal will consider getting a bid from this company. I was sad I wasn't able to watch the tree removal process because it sounded intense and not something you see everyday.

We had two trees removed and stumps ground out by ArborTech and they were great to work with! We got a decent amount of rain in the days before they came and we were worried about our yard getting torn up but they used mats and lots of care in removing the trees and it wasn’t an issue. They were professional, safe, and a lot of fun to watch! They also did a great job cleaning up. After the work was done Chris and Cam gave me their opinion on another tree on our yard and about planting new trees. They didn’t have to do that, but I really appreciated it! We will absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone looking for this service. Thank you ArborTech!

Chris and his team arrived about 7:30 AM. I had two trees requiring cleanup and one very large Silver Maple located on the side of the house that was impacting my driveway and had a canopy that spread over mine and my neighbor's house. The maple had a diseased large limb removed right after I moved into the house in 2011. Over the years that area had further decayed and I was concerned about it splitting and crushing my man cave of a garage.

They immediately worked on the two trees raising their canopies in the front. They had ordered a crane to assist in removing the canopy from the tree to be removed. They were very professional and thorough in removal of the stump and cleaning up the yard.

I would highly recommend them and will use them again as the years move forward.

Wow! Arbortech went above and beyond. We had a very large, 4 ft high x 4 ft across tree stump that had been sitting for a few years. I wish I would have had the before picture. They even got the part of the stump that had grown on our driveway off the driveway. They were professional, courteous and cleaned up everything. They also hauled away all the piles and piles of wood chips, leaving a clean and level surface. They wouldn't leave until it was done to their high standards. We were very impressed and will definitely recommend to anyone needing this kind of service. The price was also very fair. Thank you, Arbortech. Excellent!!

These guys did an amazing job removing (4) large silver maple trees. They were at my home promptly in the morning at the time specified and did not leave until the trees and stumps remove and all the debris thoroughly cleaned up. It was an awesome job done cheaper than the (4) other quotes I received. Highly recommend this company!

Update: This is the second time I've used Arbortech and I couldn't be happier. They are reasonably priced and a great group of guys to work with. John was prompt to quote me several times (as I changed my mind on what I wanted) and Chris (the owner) was awesome to work with on the day of the job. I had 13 trees cleared and stumps ground to open up my lot and they did a wonderful job. They even trimmed up some obscene looking trees that were part of the nature area behind my property. Unfortunately they nicked one of my sprinkler lines with the stump grinder and I found out about it after testing a few days later. No problem though. Three weeks after completing the tree job, they came out and fixed it for me. No questions asked. These guys rock and I would highly recommend them for any type of tree work in the Twin Cities metro!

Excellent job on my massive elm tree removal from my backyard. The tree was not accessible by a bucket truck, so a crane was used to lift pieces of the tree over my house and garage! Amazing to watch them crane the guys into the tree to cut it and remove the tree piece-by-piece. They even found a way to get their stump grinder into my backyard through my fence gate. I didn't know that would even be possible. They cleaned up very well and even took brush that they wasn't part of the tree removal. Looks great now and adds so much light to my backyard. Affordably priced for a very difficult removal. Highly recommend!
