Had Eric out for an estimate on three large spruce, one box elder and one maple for a new fence. Pricing was more than fair and work done within a few days of confirming work. Took two hours, they cleaned up incredibly quickly and had the stump grinder out the same day (could have been a few days later). Will definitely go with them again for future trimming needs.

Had a great experience with Eric and his team to remove my tree. He responded quickly and the team was professional and did excellent work.

Highly recommend working with Eric from Minnesota Tree Experts. We had part of a tree come down during the storm on Monday and reached out to several tree service companies. Eric was one of the first to show up. He took the time to explain the benefits of taking down the whole tree as the trunk split vs just having the part that came down removed. He provided quotes for both options so we could make an educated decision. They were here the same day and had everything done and cleaned up in no time. Very quick and professional. Eric was great to work with, highly recommend Eric and Minnesota Tree Experts.

Eric and his crew did a fantastic job removing 9 trees from our yard. We were able to schedule the project quickly, and they got to work right away. The team was efficient, worked well together, and completed everything in a timely manner. They also did a thorough job cleaning up afterward and even put our backyard trampoline back in place. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of tree services!

Dave came out gave us a quote and was back the next week and removed 4 large oak trees! They had the right equipment and were done in less then 2 hours .Very professional we had two other quotes they were by far the best .We are having them come in the winter to trim the rest of our trees! Minnesota Tree Experts did an excellent job for us. We had a few trees that needed to be trimmed and a couple removed due to Emerald Ash Disease, and they handled everything perfectly. They were quick, efficient, and extremely respectful of our property—careful not to cause any damage and very thorough with the cleanup.

Jake and crew removed a large Willow leaning over the lake that was about ready to fall in. They were quick and efficient. They cleaned up very well after. I would definitely recommend them.

They provide expert analysis and fair estimates by a certified arborist. They do quick but detailed work. None of the branches fell on my house or fence,, power lines, or neighbors' property. Clean up made it look like they were never there. Best show out my kitchen window thus far!

This company communicates promptly and clearly, and is fairly priced. Eric trimmed my 26 year old snow crab tree that I love. He listened to my concerns, was very careful, and advised me on how to continue to care for it. It looks so pretty now. (He is an artist with trimming trees!) Steve/Scuba was as pleasant to work with as Eric, and the two large trees and stumps in the back were removed very efficiently with no damage to other areas. Everything was left very clean. I am very happy with Minnesota Tree Experts, and will definitely hire them in the future.

Eric and his crew were very responsive to what I wanted done and very informative on the whole process. Two trees trimmed and pruned in about an hour. I can see my house now. Looks great and I’ll be thanking them this fall with less leaves to pick up. Thanks again Eric and crew!!

Result: 4 dangerous trees and 6 pesky ones (all 30+ ft) removed, other trees trimmed, I'm no longer holding my breath during a lightning storm, neighbor's happy, and the value of my home increased significantly.

Steven Schneider and his crew are amazing. Steven's 20+ years with the company shows why he can surgically remove 3 widowmakers with ease. The crew was very professional leaving the area and streets clean from debris. The cost was very fair. The amount of resources used to get the job done professionally and in an efficient manner was outstanding. Timing and scheduling in August was great and they're licensed in Mounds View, MN. I still have more trees to take care of and I will be contracting them in the future.

Review for services performed in October 2023. After a few quotes, and their high review rating I chose to use work with MN Tree Experts to remove an ash tree, and trim two trees. When Jeff came by to provide a quote he was great to work with, friendly, answered all my questions so I scheduled a date for service. A few hours before my appointment time I see an employee walking in the yard (didn't catch his name) and he told me he was here to double check the quote that Jeff provided. He told me he never would have quoted the job for that price, asked me what the other quotes were and told me I should go with another company. I told him that I had a quote from Jeff and that I had already taken the day off and that someone needed to let me know ASAP if they were no longer doing the job. He was talking negatively about Jeff and about how I found them through Angi's list which according to him is a waste of their money, all of which I thought was inappropriate. It seemed like he was not a huge fan of Jeff, or moving forward with my business.
Jeff showed up with a small crew and I told him I was surprised to see him and that another person had stopped by. He apologized and said that they were moving forward with the job. They did not want mess with rolling back the fence to get their equipment back to trim one of the trees which i understood, but neither of the trees had the dead branches removed as requested, and I had to clean up dirt and debris from the yard and the outside of the house after they left. When I reached out to Jeff he apologized and recommended that I let Jake know. I wanted to get the issues resolved before leaving a review which seemed to irritate Jake. When he returned my phone call, he snapped at me because he was on vacation with his family and told me that I was causing problems. I tried to let him know that this was not my intention and that I wanted to reach out to him for resolve instead of jumping online as some people do. It took me explaining in detail what his employee was sharing about Jeff before he stopped treating me like I was a "problem". It felt as though I was caught in his employees' drama. I shared numerous pictures as requested and they came back to remove the dead branches. I had to ask him to work with my husband to avoid being treated poorly. Not sure if I caught him at a rough time or what, but I would recommend using another company for tree services in the future so you can avoid any headache and mistreatment.

I had a large maple near my house that had become dangerous, and I needed it removed quickly. Eric was able to remove the tree promptly and efficiently. This job was performed in a tough area, with close proximity to homes and power lines, and little room for equipment. With the effort involved to complete this job Eric was still able to give me a price that was agreeable. Communication was easy, and I had very few concerns or questions. I will return for further business, and recommend Eric and this team to those that I can!

I came home to a big tree cracked and leaning where it would fall across my fence if it blew off the branch that was holding it up. I called MN Tree Experts and Eric was out the next day to give me a quote. They were able to fit me in two days later, and I was happily surprised at how quickly they were able to get the tree down and cleaned up. They raked up the smaller branches and even used a blower to make sure the sidewalk was clear. I would definitely use them again!

This is our 3rd time using MN Tree Experts. I emailed them requesting an estimate Friday morning & Eric came out within an hour or two. Eric's knowledge of the Emerald Ash Borer was tremendously helpful. We lost one tree but we're hoping with treatment we can save the other. The estimate was right in our budget so we gave the go ahead for all recommended work. Eric & his team arrived on time Monday morning & were done quickly & cleaned up all the debris. We wouldn't use any other arborists. Great company & Eric was especially helpful!
