My tree concerns weren't Ash trees. They were Birch.

Our front yard has been super shady. My wife and I spent a decade transforming the lousy lawn into a beautiful shade garden. A couple of years ago, we lost one of our birch trees to the Bronze Birch Borer.

Normally, more sun in a garden is a great thing, but for us, that messed with our garden design. Sun in a shade garden...not good.

Kenny really is about saving trees. Because the treatment for Emerald Ash Borer is the same as that for the Birch Borer, I was lucky that he was willing to take the job.

Kenny was timely in getting over to measure our remaining three birches. He was timely in getting us his proposal. He was super cooperative in timing his treatment for when the risk to pollinators (bees and butterflies) had past. We wanted to kill pests, not pollinators.

Finally, I'm delighted to have found a tree guy who gives a four-year guarantee for his work.

Kenny originally treated our ash tree in May, 2023. One year later, the tree looked healthy to us, but for our "piece of mind" we sent photos to Kenny to look at. I didn't know what kind of trees we had in our backyard and a friend told me I should see if they are Ash and, if so, treat them against Emerald Ash Borer. Luckily, I found Save The Ash Tree Co online and sent them pics of the trees that they identified as Ash. Ibooked treatment right away.
