Reviews of local pros in Champlin, Minnesota

Spetz Plumbing was amazing from the first call through quote and installation. They were incredibly efficient and professional. I’d highly recommend them as they offered top service and fair pricing. I’d absolutely use them again for future projects or issues in the home. Thanks you Elaina and Michael for everything!

Mike and his son Bill were very friendly and did a wonderful job for us. It’s great to be able to hire a plumber that is a family business instead of a big company. We won’t hesitate to hire Spetz Plumbing for any of our future projects.

Mike is amazing. He is professional and patient, and he does great work. He is always willing to talk me through the parts I can do myself. This is not some huge corporate conglomerate that charges $500 minimum to show up. This is a responsive mom-and-pop shop that remembers who your are and what your situation is.

Mike arrived right on time, hauled away all my old leaky tanks & installed a new water softener & RO. Could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you!

Mike and team where amazing to work with! Called for a leaking water heater repair and it turned out I needed a new water heater. Do not let the big box stores fool you. Mike and team are within a few hundred dollars of those big store and offer a more timely and personal response! I wasn’t sent on a wild goose chase into voice mail hell just to get the install scheduled. I did everything over text messages and my unit was installed in just a few days. Mike also explained to me the benefit of tankless and showed me the rebate and tax credit websites! Big box store A and B didn’t even wish to speak to me about tankless. You honestly can’t go wrong with Mike over at Spetz.

Mike was great. He gave me an estimate for a water heater that was being replaced. His bid was the best and he even scouted out another plumbing project in the home that needed attention too. He was prompt for our appointment and his firm has good communication with me online.

Service has not yet been provided but my experience so far has been great. Mike came out to provide an estimate free of charge and was super knowledgeable about Minneapolis code as well as ways I might save money on the project. Looking forward to getting their quote.

Spetz Plumbing is reliable, quick and efficient in replacing my new shower. I would recommend Spetz for any plumbing job. Simply the best plumber in the neighborhood.

A GOOD experience with a plumber?? Am I dreaming?

From start to finish these people were excellent; they reached out to me to see if I still needed the job I posted on Thumbtack done (which I did because the other plumber ghosted me twice and ignored my follow-up messages). I got an appointment the same day, got a very reasonable and affordable quote, accepted it, and the guy fixed it right then and there. And it was done!

I'm SO happy with this company. They're great.

On time and great communication throughout the process. Completed work was excellent and I would recommend this company to anyone needing plumbing work for their home.

Very responsive to my inquiry, great communication during the diagnosis, and competitive pricing for that work. Spetz will get my future plumbing needs!

On time and very friendly. I was very happy with the job that was done and my pool heater plumbing no longer leaks. That was something the two different pool store people didn't accomplish. I will use Spetz Plumbing the next time I need plumbing service.

Spetz plumbing is great! Fast service! Great people! Quality work! We will be hiring them again.

Michael was knowledgeable, professional and made fair reccomendations.

I will definitely have Spetz at the top of my list next time I need a plumber.

Good communication from the start. Replaced the washing machine and dishwasher hoses. Water heater flush and fill. Work completed in a short period of time. Prices are reasonable. I’ll use them again!

Discovered a leak in water supply line. Of course it was in a very difficult area to access but Michael was persistent and had the leak repaired in no time. Prearrival communication was great.

Excellent workmanship and job was done in a timely manner with fair pricing. They were a pleasure to work with and would highly recommend

Called Spetz out to look at showe faucet drip. I should have known it was a mistake when I was told by the lady on the phone "we usually just replace those instead of trying to fix." Bill came out, sat on the bathtub and didn't inspect it at all, just looked at it dripping. Quoted $980 by Spetz, went with a company who did it for $450 and actually looked at the issue before giving a quote. $50 dollars for a tech to come out and tell me it will be $1000. I will not be using Spetz for anything in the future.

Good service, completed quickly, was by far the lowest quoted price out of three, and didn't try to upsell other projects.

We've been using Mike since 2022! He's done great work for us on a number of occasions. Bill did the most recent job for us and worked hard, going above and beyond to resolve our issue!

Had to have a shower surround installed with a base. It looks great! Mike had to rework the floor drain so that it would align properly.
Then I had them fix a drain pipe that I hit with a Drywall screw. And he fixed the downspout in the upstairs bathroom shower.
I will call Mike for any further repairs here At my next house.
I live in an older house so he also did some updates in the laundry room by putting in a standpipe for the washing machine and a new utility sink. And cleaned up the appearance by replacing some oldness match pipes with new ones. Thanks guys!
