Travis and his team helped us take down a couple of diseased trees and helped us remove some trees that were just too densely planted. He also helped us trim our remaining trees so that they would be healthier in the years to come. Travis was helpful, professional, and gave us great advice and guidance on how to manage our trees and at a very fair price. I wouldn't hesitate to work with him again.

Travis and Balsam Tree and Shrub Care are simply fantastic! I live in White Bear Lake and have a multitude of very large trees on my property that cause a hassle from time to time after a storm. They have been able to handle anything I have thrown their way and done so extremely quickly and efficiently at an affordable price. I will never even consider calling anybody else for my trimming and branch/tree removal needs!

Very pleased with work done by Balsam Tree and Shrub Care. They took down tree for us and we elected to cleanup wood ourselves. They moved and stacked branches which made our job SO much easier. This big oak was right alongside our paved driveway and they took great care not to leave any marks with the equipment - and not a branch fell on it. Might have found someone to do the job for a bit less, but Balsam's expertise and ease of doing business was more than worth it. We've got a lot of trees and I'm sure we'll have a need to call them again!

We were impressed by the quality of the work and the cleanup. Travis gave us a clear estimate. Curt and crew did a careful, safe, and efficient take-down of several trees. Two of them were quite large, and the split-trunk cottonwood was HUGE. It needed a careful plan, the right equipment, and some real skill to drop it safely, without damaging any surroundings. Travis, Luke and crew not only completed the work that had been previously discussed, but they were flexible and helpful with adding additional tasks to the day’s work. They left our property without damage to other trees and shrubs, and did a nice job of cleaning up. They cut down 9-10 trees and trimmed other trees on the day they were here. Nice guys - highly recommend!

I have used Balsam twice for removal of Ash trees. Each time they handled about 25 trees in one day. Crew works hard and they keep checking in to make sure I was satisfied with the work.

Absolutely impressed with Balsam Tree & Shrub Care. Travis showed up with his spider lift and handled a tricky, tangled maple and spruce we thought we’d have to cut down. He made smart, precise cuts to save both trees, cleaned out deadwood, and trimmed the canopy to reduce wind risk. Super skilled, clearly knows his stuff, and just a really cool, down-to-earth guy. Protected the lawn, left everything clean—great value and great experience. Highly recommend 👍👍

Travis and his crew came in and gave an affordable quote to take down 5 massive ash trees on my property. (Several overhanging buildings) His guys had all them down and completely cleaned up in no time. I would highly recommend them to anyone! They will definitely be my go to choice for future tree work.

I really recommend this company very good service the care they send to my home to cut 17 trees they really did a great Job, they were really careful and work fast.

They had to change our plant date due to poor planning on their part, because of that, we were out of town when they came to plant. They had to be asked to dig the tree lower as they were going to leave it 6 inches out of the ground instead of even with our grass. They then called EVERY day to get payment when they were told that we were out of town on vacation and would pay when we returned. We paid within 10 days of planting, and they still continued to ask for payment well after the invoice was paid.
Not happy with their customer service at all.

NWI was out again at my house yesterday and removed some trees that had issues. This is the 2nd time I’ve used them in the past year and they didn’t disappoint. Great service and always professional. Will, Bob and one other guy did a great job! I will use this company again in the future!

I have used NWI for at least the last 6 or more years. We have a large yard (4 acres) so there are always trees falling down and dead branches. NWI has always shown up when scheduled and done an excellent job for me. They are the team I turn to when the trees get out of hand.

They did a great job. They fit me in fast on a tree that was coming down any minute. Knowing it was urgent, they didn’t price gauge like another company attempted to do. I will use them again without hesitation.
