The crew showed up on time and well prepared for the work. When all was done, my yard was even cleaner than I could get it, and that's saying something! I am very particular. These guys went above and beyond.

I unexpectedly had to have a lot of tree work done this summer. NWI generally made this process easy. They promptly returned my call and were out at my home the same week working through an estimate. They ended up removing about 5 trees for me, along with brush clearing, and stump removal. Couldn't be happier with end result.

Wow! I had an excellent experience with NWI. They came out a few weeks ago and gave me a competitive bid. They took three 60+ year old diseased trees. Arthur and his team were amazing! Cleaned out my trees and buckthorn expertly and exactly as I requested. Cleaned up was superb. Stack of trees wood and brush picked up about 1 1/2 hours later. 5 star service!

My first NWI experience in fall of 2024 was excellent. They did just as well in Sept 2025 as they took down two ash trees in my front yard. Foreman Will was easy to work with, approachable, and efficient.

Two very large cottonwood trees were cut down in my yard. The work was done professionally and efficiently. I highly recommend NWI Tree Services! I will use them again the next time I have a tree cut down.

From the bid process, to scheduling, to dealing with the workers on site, top notch. I was able to talk to one of the staff when they finished the job, and he took the time to come up to me and ask if I had any questions. Very professional throughout the process.

They did an amazing job on our tree! It maybe took an hour tops - they were super efficient and friendly! They even got to hear a beep-beep from the skid loader!

The team worked well together, obviously well trained. Great detail to protecting my mound system below the work area, and clean up. I would recommend NWI and will be using them in the future.

The NWI team does GREAT work! From estimate to cleanup, very pleased with the process and the result. They will be my first call anytime I need tree help.

I contacted NWI to address an overgrowth of buckthorn on our property. The treatment outlined a process of cutting and mulching of the vegetation followed by applying a herbicide to eliminate new growth. They would also move trees that had been felled earlier so access to cutting and mulching the buckthorn would be improved. The equipment that was used dug into the ground a depth of a few inches in the process of cutting and mulching, leaving extensive ruts and exposed soil.
The time for the mowing was a little less than 2 hours. After discussing the ruts, the technician was very accommodating and took a couple more hours to try to grade the property, but the effectiveness was limited by the capability of the equipment.
The size of the machinery could not reach multiple areas resulting in lots of remaining buckthorn about 5' to 6' tall. I was assured that the herbicide would effectively kill the remaining buckthorn. (However , that approach would leave lots of dead 5' tall buckthorn throughout the property.) The technician worked diligently to smooth out the ruts, and did a good job of finishing with the equipment he brought. Clearly other equipment will be needed to prepare the ground for seeding with grasses.
It will take me many hours of hand raking to prepare the ground.
I have been assured by the person that inspected my property, before and after, that he feels the result is very good. I am accepting that summary but that also points out a distinct discrepancy in communication. I was expecting a machine that would course through the property like a large lawn mower or a small version of farm equipment to cut hay. The result of the cutting would leave a mulch over all the property and no standing buckthorn. No ruts and disruption of the property was expected.
That said, NWI was effective in pushing the felled trees into one region and making it accessible to cut up the logs.
The people I worked with were very nice and seemed quite knowledgeable. The communication about the expectations of the job was the weak area.

Highly recommend NWI Tree Service. Very professional and understanding of what we wanted. They mentioned a number of times that their job was to make sure we were happy with their work! All branches were piled together when the job was completed and picked up the next morning.

The 3 gentleman that came to do our job today, 2 days early, were a pleasure to talk with and did a fantastic job. They trimmed 3 trees and cut down one and did an awesome job on both cutting and clean up. They represent your company with an A++.
We will call on you again when we need more work done and will pass on our experience to our neighbors.

The 3 guys were very efficient. They made what I thought was a big job of several trees look easy. The clean up of the branches and logs was like a tree never came down. Thank you for getting my trees down so quickly from the estimate appointment.

Such a relief to have so many yard issues taken care of! I had my lilac hedge trimmed, two apple trees removed, my maple trimmed back, and a pile of branches removed. Nic did the estimate and he was very knowledgeable and polite. Alex and Ashton took care of the various tasks. I was amazed that two people could take care of it all and clean it up so well. They, too, we're very polite and nice to talk to. Will did the stump removal and I enjoyed talking with him as well. Shout out to your wonderful scheduler who called with a couple appointment time updates, which I appreciated. She's sweet and fun to talk to. Highly recommend your professional services!
