I am writing to offer my sincere thanks and a strong recommendation for Avalon Construction and its owner, Alex Golubchick, based on my recent experience following hail damage to my home.
Avalon Construction was recommended to me by a friend who had previously worked with the company and spoke very highly of them. From my first interaction with Alex, it was clear why. He arrived exactly on time for our appointment — something I always appreciate — and immediately demonstrated professionalism, knowledge, and a genuine willingness to help.
I explained my situation and asked for guidance, and Alex took the time to walk me through the entire process step by step. He went up on the roof himself, inspected the damage thoroughly, took photos, and shared his honest opinion without any pressure. He made sure I understood what he saw and what my options were.
When I asked about filing an insurance claim, Alex told me that if I decided to move forward, he would take over all communication with my insurance company as soon as I had a claim number. His willingness to handle that part of the process — which can be confusing and frustrating — was a major relief and showed me that he truly stands behind his customers.
Alex also explained in detail the stages of work that would be done if repairs were approved: what would happen first, how long each step typically takes, what materials would be used, and what I could expect throughout the project. I appreciated the clarity and transparency. It made the entire situation feel manageable instead of overwhelming.
Another important point for me was Avalon Construction’s warranty. Alex made it clear that the company stands behind its work and provides a warranty for the job once completed. Knowing that gave me confidence that the repairs would be done properly and that the company would be there if anything needed attention afterward.
Based on my experience, I can confidently say that Avalon Construction and Alex Golubchick operate with professionalism, reliability, and integrity. I am grateful for the assistance, the clear communication, and the respect shown throughout the process. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone dealing with storm damage or in need of a trustworthy contractor.

I had called to see if they do work on chimneys and although they didn't they were able to send to me a list of recommendations for companies that could help me. They were very responsive and professional! Will definitely be calling back in the future!

RUDE EMPLOYEES. Had an employee follow me into my work parking lot, because he was unhappy with how I was driving. Completely unprofessional. Parked my car in and tried to confront me. Agressive men working at this company. Would not suggest for any single women.

I tried to use them, I really did. I can't even get ahold of them to help me out with my concrete project. I'm definitely going to be calling someone else. I saw one of their trucks and called the number on it, but no one picks up. Too bad because I signed with a competitor today!!!

Had a driveway and deck removed and replaced. Big crew worked fast. the work looks great. Had a minor issue with a blowing a blown breaker from someone plugging in is a tool. They fixed promptly and covered the minor costs. They did right by me.

We have recently started using Goodmanson Construction for a number of projects. Jake and Chris are great to work with, communication is always easy with them both, they give suggestions that are in the best interest of the customer and always show up when they say they will.
